The Horseman
Name: Kiwi (meaning Flightless Bird)
Nicknames: ???
Gender: Male
Age: -- His true age is unknown, or at the very least unrevealed, however he appears to be in his teen years.
Original Clan: Famine
Job Role: Colony Soldier - Colony Soldiers are groups of Clans members versed in the fighting arts, namely to protect and keep order in their colony. They are often seen with the Heirs and Queen, though they also have special roles in the Human World fending off potential hostile opponents as well as their own territories in Halloween from potential invaders.
Personality:
.:Nomenclature:. His name, while it might seem odd, is derived from a bird known as the Kiwi, who in legend gave up it's ability to fly in order to become strong and protect the creatures of the earth. Kiwi means 'flightless bird' and his parents - having considered it a fitting name at birth, given his beautiful but decaying, all-but-useless wings - honored him with the title. He however despised the name, and was often the brunt of many jokes in his youth because of it. But as he grew older, Kiwi began to realize more and more the positive traits of the bird of legend. Instead of shame, he embraced those traits, and began to work hard for the betterment of his clan. He now feels very comfortable with it, more-so with the destruction of his clan, and is determined to work very hard to rebuild Famine to it's former glory. He considers the legendary Kiwi itself a guardian spirit of sorts, a totem of birthright always watching over him, helping him in his struggle to succeed.
.:Love of Life:. Kiwi is very loyal to his people and the clan. He loves Famine life, and being somewhat of a protective, brotherly figure would do anything within his power to ensure the clan's safety. While normally fairly rational and reasoning, Kiwi's love of battle can sometimes lead him to be impulsive and reckless, launching himself into the battlefield without a second thought. He is tough though, and can pull his own weight within the clan.
He is also quite cautious of any outsiders, and if confronted, will often take to the sand/brush/treetops nearby, observing them with watchful, doubting eyes until he is certain they are no threat to himself or his clan. If he does perceive a threat, the horseman will not hesitate to launch head-on against his "foes", regardless of the situation. One could consider him somewhat dedicated and paranoid even that way. At least he means well.
.:Brothers in Arms:. While some would see the colony soldier life as a base existence, a mere pawn on the Famine pyramid of hierarchy, Kiwi purely loves his job. He recognizes the value of protecting his clansmen from harm, and thoroughly enjoys the adrenaline-fueled danger and challenge of battle. He fights bare-fisted with a certain speed and precision, often twisting in the air to utilize every limb of his body in taking down his opponent, reserving his weapon only for times of great need. However, he has developed a curiosity and fascination with the upper classes, and secretly hopes to one day be promoted as a successful scavenger.

.:Views on the Loss of his Clan:. The day he saw the Four Clans go up in a brilliant explosion of FEAR and Insanity, Kiwi could only stare with a numb sense of shock. It was as though, in those few moments, time had almost stopped. The world grinding to a near-dead lurch, frozen still as the aura grew brighter and larger. He could almost hear the screams of a whole colony of Famine horsemen crying in agony, mingled among the many voices of the other clans ... His mind kept telling him no. No. NO. It wasn't real, it couldn't be real ... it-
But it was. Slowly, time had began to pick up again, there were humans firing their weapons and shouting cheers, students agape as horsemen all around him stared, silent tears pouring from their eyes, a few cries echoing onto the air as the explosion peaked and died away ...
His parents ... the ones he relied on most, the ones who supported him, who loved him ... gone. All the colonists he shared his home with ... wiped away. The isle of Famine, and all it's culture and beauty ... reduced to ashes. He was devastated. Famine was all he has ever known, all he had. Without it there no purpose, nowhere for him to belong ... He almost couldn't bear it. Almost.
But since that day, a new feeling has begun to overshadow his inner sorrow: Hatred. Anger. Animosity. He has always fought with a strong will, and now more than ever the pain from his loss has begun to channel itself into a stout hatred. He is resolved, come what may, he will pass judgement on those who took his homeland from him, if that means sinking his bare fists through each and every one til he tears the FEAR, and the very life from their bodies.
.:Views on the Other Clans:.
.:Conquest:. Kiwi greatly values peace among the clans, but considers Conquest's mass saturation in it to be quite pointless and boring. He would much rather be patrolling or training to better defend his clan. However, their title as Conquest, and the fact they are always always seen on the front lines of any battle, has to speak for something. For that at least, he holds a mutual respect.
.:War:. Kiwi absolutely adores the War clan, their love of battle and the art of war is unparalleled, and like his own clan they are governed by a strong female. However, he does believe they are a tad gender biased. The fact that they are both led by a female and often populated of female warriors doesn't settle entirely well with him. Still, he would never pass the chance to spar with one of the ladies, as he sees it as a rather enjoyable challenge to test the extent of his skills. If he can match a War clansman in strength, he could probably do about anything he set his mind to.
.:Death:. While wonderful jewelmakers, and a truly vital part of the clans, Kiwi sees their religious beliefs as senseless and odd. Why waste time dreaming of the future when one can go and live it?? ... Perhaps he doesn't have the patience for such folly things as trance, but he won't deny their FEAR harvesting abilities are flawless, rivaled only by the sheer force of Conquest. He also views their priestesses much in the same manner he views War's female-based populous - with just a touch of disdain.
.:Views on Amityville:. Kiwi regards the Amity students with a good deal of caution. While very similar at their physical core with that of the clans, he upholds a firm belief that the more ancient and refined society of horsemen is the wiser path. This doesn't mean he won't interact with students if the task requires it ... but he likely won't consider it an entirely pleasant encounter.
.:Views on Deus Ex:. As the renegade sect of lowly humans who entirely undermined and single-handedly erased almost all that was Four Clans in a matter of moments, Kiwi would love nothing more than to see their broken bloody carcasses sprinkled across the blackened, sea-soaked sands of his homeland as penance. One of the foremost reasons he desires to become a scavenger is so that he may reap the FEAR from the souls of the humans who took his homeland from him.

Mount Form: Like this plus markings across it's body very similar in color and pattern to Kiwi's own, a few feathers and loose bone dangling in it's mane.
Weapon Form:A chained, hooked weapon similar in appearance to this, with a plain wooden shaft wrapped in leather for better grip.
FEAR ATTACK: FEAR imbued into the jewelry attached to his wings causes them to begin to jingle and chime with a whispering melody reminiscent of the old Famine Clan, summoning a whirlwind of life-imbibing sand that spirals around Kiwi, healing any wounds. Falls under the Chill gambit.

Physical Description:
Eye Colour: A pale, sandy golden-brown. They can appear more golden or pale depending on how the light reflects from them.
Hair Colour/Style: Brown, often tied back and adorned with various bones, twigs, and feathers.
Skin Colour: A light tan, closer to pale. There are reddish-brown tattoo-like markings all across his body.
Clothing Style/Colours: Plain browns and pales, usually only the bare necessities in terms of clothing, favoring a multitude of bangles, necklaces, and jewelry in general, often in gold. (He will make some Death Clan Jewelcrafters very happy 8D)
Extra: He loves the shine of gold, and is currently adorned in it, along with some bone and leather jewelry. He sports piercings through his ears, and one through his right nostril.
His wings, while quite beautiful, are really useless in terms of flight due to their amount of decay. The most he manages with them is a few spare feet of upward thrust while moving. Regardless, he does cherish them and often adorns their bare surface with various small gems and chains.

I'm not great at crits but I'd like to try ^^
Firstly I love his personality <3 and can't wait to see what you do with him.
As far as his weapon I think, because the lost clans faq states it, that the weapon should be the secondary one. With the chain. I hope that kind of helps a little as far as the weapon goes smile
