Out by himself again, Otto had a goal. He wanted the dorms back soon. He could no longer handle the snoring of other hunters, their noises, the moving, the dark. He wanted his... ...night light. <>Don't. Say it.Otto sighed and kept on going.

Arriving at a crossroads, Marcus saw Otto before he saw him. A smile and the older man waved. "Hey Otto, you out here doing a clearance run?" Marcus's books were half caked in mud, but he didn't seem to mind. Nor, did he seem to care that he was nearly soaked, rain pouting just outside. "Want a little moon defense? or you trying to fly solo?" There wasn't much time to think as something rattled from up the stairs. He was luck, a small bat like creature flew down, trying to take a swing at him. He managed to knock it aside but- "Er, sorry, looks like not much choice on that." Dis at the ready he smiled. "Didn't expect to run into anyone here really."

Otto stopped and turned after hearing his name, cold eyes watching as Marcus approached. "No, just thought I'd take a leisurely walk through Hell." He replied with snark. Yes, yes he was doing the clearance run. What else would he be doing? Moon defense? Feh. Otto was fine. He could dodge these bitches til the cows came home! He didn't need no--- And then he got defended from THE BAT. "...I coulda handled that." He muttered arrogantly, summoning Tenya. Otto found it hard to believe Marcus thought he'd be the only one out and about, but didn't bother to argue. The small blonde stepped forward and swung Tenya down on the fluttering insanity creature, watching it bounce off the floor like a bouncy ball. Otto: 50/50

Status: Death = Intermediate: subtract 3 from auto damage

Ahaha, funny Otto. "The road in hell can get lonely. And boring. And tedious." The young man's snark wasn't much of a deterrent to Marcus just yet, and he shrugged it off. No reason to bite when bitten.
"Maybe, but having a moon helps. Would you prefer that I stand back and let you risk it, or stay safe so the damage is minimalized to the point of possibly never happening?" The bat shadow flew at him again, and Marcus swung at it.
"Though, defending is a bit sad when it's just little guys. Risky but a bit more rewarding when fighting one of the big bads you know?"

Marcus smirked. "Even a phoenix? You've got brass balls Otto, just don't let them dangle to much you know?" He kicked out at the creature, sending further back into Otto's range. "But, on another note, you doing okay with the mission like-" He wasn't sure how to say it, "Nothing dragging you down anymore is it?"

Nodding Marcus motioned to the batlike thing. "Yeah. Not like, huge but it's around. It spawns babies if you're not careful too which makes it a b***h and a half." Which was awesome. Totally awesome. As the bat exploded from the impact a small whistle left him, looking back at the death trainee. Still, he gave Otto a tap on his shoulder. "Its been rough for all of us. Getting better, but-" Looking back down the hall he sighed. "I worry about us. About..what happened you know?" HP: 50 Quote: 2-10: You find the body of a fallen hunter, their weapon tablet lies on the ground but crumbles as you reach for it. The pieces quickly shift and expand into a large, insane creature. Walking he turned to something he didn't want to see. Someone dead. A Hunter, lifeless, slouched against the wall. A step forward and- "Well s**t." Knocking it back he called out, "You ready for this?"

"About what happened? Didn't we win?" He asked with a brow raised. They totally burned those damn horsemen, right? From what he read on that computer, they were all lucky to be alive. So what if they had some nightmares? As for the insanity, Otto only had to deal with it for a day. He'd been better off than most. Another body. Otto knew what was coming. "Yeah, I got it." The young hunter took a few steps back then hurled his weapon at the shifty creature. HP: 50/50

Boss: 36"Came here so I could fight back." He admitted freely, swinging at the creature. There had been nothing more helpless a feeling than allowing the dark shadows to linger and prey while he hid under his covers. "I'm still here cause...." What else did he have to live for? Not much.
