It was the perfect day, and Habika was literally skipping with a basket on her arm, dress flowing about her body as wind blew through her pony tail. The sun dappeled through the leaves of the trees overhead and she could hear the chirping of birds and the scuttling of other critters or other pokemon around her.
Smiling she was singing a song she had heard part of the lyrics too awhile back, something about 'teddy bears having a picnic'. She was probably singing this song because she had all intentions to go on a picnic herself!
The pink humanoid had invited Blake to join her but he had not only turned her down but run off to avoid being dragged off by her. Honestly she didn't mind, after all she made friends wherever she went! Picking a nice warm sunny spot she set out her picnic blanket smoothing out the edges and placing her precious smooth white stone on the corner she was closest too.
Habika still humming to herself began to take out food one at a time, a few sandwich's and a couple pudding cups, salad and some fruit as well. Giggling she went about taking a bite of a sandwich still happy as a clam despite being by herself.

Mitsuru awoke with a yawn as the sun warmed her petals. She had been able to sleep soundly throughout the night and well into the day thanks to the recent storms. There wasn't anywhere to go when it was all swimming in water and mud, was there?
Mitsuru stretched her forelegs out infront of her as she yawned once more. When she was sure she was ready to set out, she slipped out of her modest den and into the bright sun shiny day. At that moment she heard singing. Or at least, a plesant enough tune to lure the Shaymin over. She was protected by a bush that she now claimed as her fortress as she looked over to the strange creature. It looked like a human, which frightened her, but were humans really pink? She'd never seen one look like that before! And - "Food!" Mitsuru chirped in her native tongue, licking her lips while her eyes turned wide as saucers.
Unbeknownst to her the tip of her nose and her forepaws can become unlodged from the bush.

Habika was nomming away on her sandwich when she heard the chattering of noise from a bush. Wide eye'd she didn't stop her eating instead she continued on as if she had heard nothing. Pausing from her food to sing another little tune she then noticed the nose..and then the little paws.
Gigggling she pulled out a second sandwich and then laid it a few feet in front of the wriggling black nose.
"Oh how I wish I had someone to eat with...I have so much food here..." Habika lamented sighing as she looked at her own half eaten sandwich as if it was all just too much for her.
"It would be a shame to waste all this food...if only I had another friend." Came a wistful sigh.

Mitsuru's mouth seriously started to drool. She wriggled first her paws, then her cheerfully excited faced out of the bush before shaking her torso through. The little Shaymin was already getting a mouthful before she'd even made it out of her superb hiding place. The flavors...the texture...it was amazing! She very rarely go to taste human food, and as much as he was terrified of them, they really knew their stuff!
That being said, Mitsuru wasn't much for manners. When she looked up at the strange human she had a large portion of the sandwich hanging from her mouth, with one paw placed ontop to hold it steady. "Hrm mrph a grr." Realizing she wasn't very coherent, she hurriedly swallowed. "Good!" She squeaked, her eyes wide and happy. "More...." wasn't there a word? A good word that the humans like so well? "..please?"

The young Happiny girl gave a small squeal at how adorable a pokemon came barreling out of the bush to eat with her! She couldn't say she had ever seen such a cute pokemon before, but there was still a lot in the world she wasn't exactly familiar with.
Noticing at how the little pokemon was eating quite ravenously she nodded her head and popping her sandwich in her mouth she went to retrieve her picnic basket. Opening the lid she adjusted the sandwich hanging from her mouth and took a bite before setting to chewing. WIth one hand holding the sandwich and the other rummaging through the basket she then pulled out something..glorious.
A bag of home made cookies. Chocolate chip and oatmeal! With no raisins!
Now she knew you shouldn't eat dessert before you lunch but this pokemon was just so adorable, and she really wanted it to be her friend. Re-insert sandwich into her mouth and she opened the back and offered the little pokemon the cookie.

Mitsuru was most curious about what this stranger was going to get for next. Another...sandwich? Was that what they were called? She couldn't remember. Or maybe something sweet, like a berry! Or maybe-
The little hedgehog like Pokemon practically bristled with glee when she caught the scent of something amazing. Her little black nose flicked and twitched, wriggled and stood on end until she was offered one of the tasty treats.
Mitsuru snapped it up in her eager little jaws even before she'd finished her sandwich. This was....it was just so....She squealed and shook all over with a smile. It was just so good!

Habika couldn't help but watch the little pokemon's every move, it was so cute and she loved the little pink flower in its green fur.
"your so cute, what's your name little one?" The pink skinned girl asked her eyes shining as she watched Mitsuri eat the cookie. After all what would be cooler but to have another friend who was so adorable!
"I think we should be good friends!" Habika declared learning on her hand, after all she couldn't promise the best friend spot, since that belonged to Blake.

"Name?" Mitsuru questioned with a little head tilt. Wasn't that...wasn't that what the humans called themselves? OH, she'd picked one, but what was it? Hrm hrm hrm.... Her eyes sparkled and with a chirp she declared, "Mitsuru." Then, the shaymin returned to her lunch.
However, it was what the pink girl said next that completely stunned the little pokemon. She slowly tilted her head up, what little food had been in her mouth dropping out in the process before tears welled up in her eyes. "Friends?" A friend that she didn't have to trap? "Yes! Yes yes yes yes yes~" She sang as she pranced around in a tight knit circle. "We can be good good friends, yes!"

Habika was overjoyed that the little pokemon was so eager to be her friend, after all no everyone took just joy in her insistence they should be friends. But..then again Habika considered everyone her friend. Even if the other person didn't seem to agree with her.
Leaning over Habika looked the little pokemon over, she was white with green leaf like hair and the pink flower made her oh-so adorable. When the name was given to her she giggled thinking that this name suited the little pokemon quite well.
"Well then we shall be good friends!" Habika agree'd giving a little wiggle as if trying to dance with the pokemon despite sitting. "Do you like in the forest little Mitsuru?"

Thank the stars! This was the first true person that Mitsuru could call friend, and it was with a strange giggle that she found this person to be mostly human looking. Who knew, right?
Although, pink was a very nice color and since this girl was covered in it, that must mean she was very nice as well. Mitsuru was more sure than ever that she had made a fine choice in a friend; a very fine choice indeed. "I do and I don't." She answered honestly, bouncing to and fro from her little spot on the ground. "I like the flowers and the trees and the water and the clouds, but I don't have friends." Her flowers practically wilted under the admission.
"But-but now I have you, so it's just fine!" She bounced up. "Where do you live, new friend?"

Habika listened and then nodded her head, the forest was a magnificent thing and though she recalled living in it with her other pokemon friends. It was a wonder how she got lost all the time how she managed not to get lost on her trip to her picnicing area.
"I use to live in the forest, but now I live with Blake and his family." She stated with a nod of her head.
"Its lots of fun cause i've met all sorts of new friends!"

Her new friend stumped her once again. Misturu paused in her rendition of the dance of her people to gaze up at the pink child. "What's a Blake and his family?" The little shaymin confused the entire group of people for once person. After all, it was easy enough to do, when the word "family" was foreign to you.
Wherever it was, if she could meet all sorts of new friends, then she wanted to go! Provided they were actual pokemon, that is. She didn't know how many humans she could stand to meet in so little time.

Habika smiled down at the little pokemon and she wanted to so badly pick her up and hug her tightly! When she seemed confused about a family and what a Blake was she only giggled before she patted the pokemon's head lightly.
"Well first a Blake is my bestest friend, he use to be a buneary before he changed into a human like I am. A family are people who live with you and love you. " She explained as she went to grab a drink from her picnic basket. It was a juice box and she got a second one without asking and puncturing the straw into it before handing it to Mitsuru.
"I am sure you must have a family somewhere you just have to look for them."

Mitsuru dipped her head at first, her eyes closed against the pat, but when it was over, and she realized she was safe she opened her eyes once more. The pink girl was full of surprises, and that had been only one of many!
"A buneary?" Those were the little brown pokemon with the big ears, right? Though, she couldn't really picture such a cute thing being a boy. It just seemed absurdly silly to her. And then there was family...a thing she didn't have, apparently. That really put a damper on the Shaymin's day.
Mitsuru put her paws up to try to cup the box, but finding it impossible she settled with sitting it down infront of her. Drinking the juice gave her time to ponder. A family, her very own family! "Do you really think so?"
