Personality: Cherven is at first quite a queen-like character, but holds her opinion to herself unless asked by her medium what her thoughts on a matter are, she also portrays a mother like or elder sister figure on many different points. Her main goal in life is simply to be with her medium. Her motto was originally, "I am just a doll." Over time, with a few close friend's guidance, she abandoned this idea and only began to think herself as a lady and a sister figure to others.
Cherven's past also seems to have a slightly vengeful spirit. This is displayed when she and her littlest sister met for the last time after Cherven had finished her talk and tea with her dear sister killing her (breaking her to pieces) for calling her medium, a benevolent child who hungers for power.
Fighting ability: Her artificial s rose spirit's name is Holy.
In battle, Cherven uses her balloon in a similar manner to a bomb to explode her opponent in ranged combat.
While she can utilize red rose petals and white petals and transform them into sharp knife-like objects to strike her opponent at close range. It is shown that she is capable of effortlessly diffusing her little sisters cyclone (created by sound waves) by releasing rose petals and cutting all of her violin strings, rendering her sister unable to attack.
Being efficient in close and distance combat and also capable of utilizing her weapons tactically makes Cherven the most powerful doll among her fathers collection.
Cherven is also able to turn anything she chooses into a puppet such as earth, rocks, wood, metal, bones, plastic, and even water itself, including the dead body of a human, demon, other creatures or animals. Though this power is unimaginably cruel and dark she has never had to use such power for her master does not wish to make her do this.
Biography: This happened at the hand of Herr Drosselmeyer and Marina Balenn. Marina told Johnathan how to save his brother from Herr. Not knowing this, Herr ordered the Baskervilles to kill everybody in Slumber and to spare no women or children.
Johnathan, doing what he was told, opened the gate to the Abyss. Whilst he was doing this, he was temporarily drawn into the Abyss, causing him to come out later. Once he came out he saw puddles of blood everywhere and dead bodies piled over each over. He ran to see Peter and Herr fighting. George tried to protect his master by taking a blow from Peter. He fell to the ground and Johnathan picked him up. No-one knows how Johnathan managed to carry Gregory while Herr and Peter were fighting.
While he was running he saw Chessein and stabbed the cat's eyes out. He was reminded of how much he hated Cherven and thought if he killed Cherven no one would know it was him. So he ran up to her tower and killed her.
Not long after, Slumber was dragged into the Abyss, along with all of the inhabitants- dead or alive.
Herr used this time to take Cherven's body and formed it into a doll using alchemy. Drosselmeyer is identified as the creator of the dolls throughout history.
They consider him to be their father and call him as such.
His appearance is not shown but someone once saw only brief glimpses of his hands and once his hair, which seems to be blonde and tied back into a ponytail. Although, as he seems to exhibit sorcerous powers, he may be able to hide from view or alter his own appearance.
Drosselmeyer seeks to create the ideal girl, through alchemy and appears to have attained a very long (possibly immortal) lifespan like his dolls as he watches them progress throughout the centuries. He has gone by many aliases throughout time, such as the Count of St. Germain or Alessandro Cagliostro.
In the year 1649, he had spoken to Cherven directly and indicated that besides battling, there is another way to end the curse of alchemy. The dolls refer to him as 'Father'. He has an assistant named Lare, who is a humanoid rabbit that deals as a time keeper for which doll is destroyed and when.
