AMITYVILLE Amityville: The sheer volume of students makes it hard to navigate around the established school facility. The outskirts of Amityville are mostly abandoned, though everyone knows the goods lie around the foundations of the school, mostly next to the spacious outdoor gym, the front gates, and the auditorium area. Students occasionally linger around, some wary of your presence, others more than willing to help. Rules:- This RP is possible with students!- Roll a 100-sided dice each time you post. Match your dice roll to the results below as to what you find. Make sure to RP out the post. You can work with someone else as well, so each of you can obtain max 10/15 items (depending on your job class) - You can also invite students to your RP. Students can come into your scavenging RP to help/ ask questions/ etc etc as long as they are invited the conventional means (ie: through a PRP etc etc). IF you make your thread an ORP that means you're in theory allowing any students to snoop at what you are doing! If you are making it a solo, that means Amityville students are not allowed/ do not see your thread. Students cannot collect supplies, but they can try to provide helpful hints about the school/ make conversation/ try to assist carrying supplies/ etc etc. Students are still not allowed on the Lost Clan reservation though, so after they get to the Amityville gates students will have to stay at the school. - Once you are done collecting supplies, you can point claim here- 1- 10 Solid bricks - 11 - 20: Gnome Cement - 21-30: Large wooden door - 31- 40:Reinforced Metal desks - 41- 50:Shatter-proof glass - 51 - 60: Ripped curtains - 61- 70: Thick cable wire - 71- 80: Large round pebble - 81 - 90: Pliable adhesive - 91 - 100: Slightly used garbage bin.

Anyone who decided to take the shortcut past the gymnasium that day would discover a cloaked horseman that looked about the same age as them, tossing empty cans and bottles overs his shoulder with long shadowy arms - his actual arms were keeping his cloak carefully wrapped around him. He was picking through some of the trash strewn about by a minipet knocking over a bin. It was not glorious, but to Mahir, scavenging was a way of life, and he was hardly aware of what a message he was sending. If anything it was far easier here where it was cool and shady and everything was so strangely useful. One of the bottles he was about to toss away seemed to still be half full. He paused to unscrew it, gave it a careful sniff. Dipped one of the shadowy hands in it and tried to wiggle its fingers. Sticky. Very useful. "Heh, yesss, very good." Mahir hissed, replacing the top and hiding his find somewhere beneath his robes. He couldn't imagine why anyone would just leave such useful things lying around outside.

At first glance, the sight of a cloaked figure on school grounds had Shun a little more than concerned, if not wary. Narrowing his eye, he stalked closer to get a better look at what was going on here. When he did get closer, he found someone that had two sets of arms. One shadowed and the other more normal. It appeared to be one of the horsemen. Ok. Probably not a hunter then. Probably.
Then again, what the hell would a hunter be doing rummaging through garbage? Well, a few things actually.
Regardless, he wasn't entirely certain what to make of this sight. He supposed the horsemen were in need of supplies to rebuild. For the time being, he didn't say anything though, and just observed quietly.

Willow was sunbathing on the school grounds when she noticed someone rustling in the garbage. Her tail flickered as she looked at the.... was that a horsemen...?
The tiger looked a little confused and frowned. Well... if they wanted to dig in the trash... However, she was curious and being curious was keeping her from biting at the flowers growing in a patch on her hind quarter.
However, if she was asked she'd be more than happy to help the horsemen.

Angenora was listening to her eyepod as she walked past the auditorium. She felt like it was a good day to walk around and possibly meet new students along the way. She stopped in her tracks, taking out an ear bud to see if she was just hearing things. She paused her music only to hear the strange sound once more. She looked around, listening carefully to what it could be. she had an idea that maybe a stray mini pet could have gotten into the trash until she saw something that made her want to get closer to see what it was. She gasped when she noticed it was a little horseman that was walking around the school grounds. It had been a long while since she had seen any of the lost clan. She moved close enough that the little horseman would be able to hear her. "Hey there!" Genora said with a light wave, hoping she wouldn't scare him off. She had always been fascinated by the famine clan from their wondrous clothing style and how they were able to make food from almost anything.

The horseman continued knocking around empty containers for several more minutes before it noticed the Halloween students staring at it from afar. Slowly he straightened up and the shadowy arms were pulled back to the center like retracted tape measure, to wrap around his shoulders as if protectively. He was admittedly curious as well, staring right back at them with wide yellow eyes and a half-smile. These were the little Fearlings that had returned from the islands that most of his bretheren had not. It would be so delightful to unravel the mysteries, get a closer look, to ask them questions, perhaps get a discreetly taken sample of their blood -- His hand paused as it slipped into a pocket inside of his cloak. Oh dear, he'd lost his tools. Maybe another time. For now, it looked like he wasn't going to be able to keep scavenging until he appeased them somehow. "Greetingsss, little sssoldiers of Amityville. I am Mahir, of the F- of the Lossst Clan." Mahir dipped his head in a small bow of politeness, causing his jewlery to give a metallic jingle. He glanced over his shoulder for a moment, and one of the shadowy arms made a sweeping gesture toward the kingdom of garbage he'd been wading through. "Are these forbidden groundsss I am tressspasssing upon?"

Ah. The horseman ended up noticing. Then again, it was hard to not notice when there were suddenly a group of students staring... and the fact that one had actually spoken up to call attention in the first place. As Mahir spoke, Shun shook his head quietly.
"I am Shun Kuroda and no. I can't speak for the others but I was just observing you. I don't suppose there's anything in particular that you were looking for?" he replied while glancing around at the various bits of garbage strewn on about.
There had to be something the Famine horseman had to be searching in this rubble heap.

Willow sat up when she was addressed giving the horsemen a smile. She returned the bow, "Willow Voltaire." She answered, "Nice to meet you Mahir."
Her tail flickered, "You're not trespassing." She add, "At least that I know of, anyways." She tilted her head, "What are you looking for? Maybe we could help?"

Without anywhere he needed to be, Thackery pushed himself to get out of his room for a bit of fresh air to clear his mind. It still seemed a little dark in there, with everything important all locked away for safekeeping, decor mostly down to meaningless trinkets and bare walls. He wasn't quite used to the extra jingling that all of those new keys provided, and fidgeted as he walked, tugging at the strings around his neck.
There was the strange sound of something rummaging through...trash? Containers of some sort, at least. His ears perked, twitching towards the noise in hopes of catching it better. Maybe it was a minipet!
He picked up his pace as he followed the commotion, turning the corner just in time to see a cloaked stranger introducing himself. The Cerberus was visibly displeased at the general lack of minipets here--until realization hit, at least. A horseman! A living horseman! Eyes wide with excitement, he approached without a second thought, flinging his arms around him.
"Hi! I'm Thackery! I'm glad you're alive!" It was only after he'd hugged him properly that he pulled away, smiling brightly. "What are you doing here? Don't you, uh..." He glanced at the trash all around him, back to him, back to the trash. "...I...did you not have trash on your island? I'm sorry to be the one to tell you, but this is trash."

The familiar robes and black hands drew Fai towards the school trash. A tiny sigh and a hint of amusement crossed the famine horseman's face as he watched Mahir be surrounded by students. Were they giving him trouble or assisting, he wondered as he headed over. Then he saw the trash. "How wasteful," he said with a hint of irritation. So much of this could be reused. " Sage Mahir, can I assist?" His hair, uncovered, started waving around, curious about what this new place held in store. His eyes caught on something large and metallic and he moved towards it, hauling a metal desk from the wreckage. "You can help," he answered Willow. They were surprisingly communal for being outsiders, a clan of their own almost. But Mahir would not turn down free labor even if it was from strange fearlings. It would make everything go faster. This was the way in the colony, all work benefited the clan. His shadowy arms waved in Willow's direction with relief. "I seek anything useful. It is hard to know where to begin with all of these things your people have left here for taking." "Materialsss, Shun Kuroda!" Mahir seemed to find Shun's question amusing, as the smile on his face widened somewhat at his perceived naivete. "My people are resourceful. Anything will do! We wish to rebuild our home in these ssstrange new lands - oof!" Mahir was interrupted in his explanation by yet another student. What was he doing? Was it an attack? No. A strange greeting? It was not a very good one if so, it crushed his ribs. Had they not heard of musical instruments here? A melody of greeting from afar would have been more sensible. But it was closer than the others dared to come, and perhaps they were right not to. Mahir mimicked the gesture with a loop of shadow arms, but took the opportunity to quickly pluck a few hairs off Thackery's head with a shadowy hand for future study. "I am.... glad you are alive as well?" "Faiyum! It is good to see you again. Your assistance is very welcome, please. There is much I wish to learn about this place, I have many questions for them." He looked back at Thackery, and to the others in turn, his excitement not even remotely concealed over the idea that they would be so forthcoming with their information. "Who is the sssovereign ruler of your Amityville? Do you have a queen, or a king? Or perhapsss an imperial family?"

As one of his ears began to twitch again, Thackery idly scratched at the side of his head, wondering why it was suddenly itchy. Oh, sweet Jack, what if someone here had fleas. Now he was going to have to take a bath when he got back, and wash all of his bedding and...and Mahir was asking about a king.
He laughed. Just for a minute. Only until he realized that his inquiry was completely earnest.
"Me. I'm King of Amityville. King Thackery of Amityville." Yeah, that sounded nice. "I just forgot my crown, which is...that's why I'm here. I lost it, actually. Maybe in the trash. Have you found it? I'll help you out either way, but you can have double help if you have it. My crown, I mean. Because I'm the king here."

Salbei had clinked his way over towards Amityville next, intent on finding anything he could find that would be helpful. Granted, the curiousity was the biggest driving force; he had never really visited Amityville before, and this was a good opportunity even if he was under a pretense. The Sage made his way after Fai, ever the shorter Alchemist's taller and rather pale shadow, and came into the conversation a little belatedly, deciding to use Fai as an arm rest as he contemplated the implications.
"Trash, you say?" He hummed, rolling the world on his tongue. Trash. Interesting; there seemed to be some decent items here at the very least! "Now now, Fai. One scareling's trash can be our building blocks." The pale one mused, coughing lightly but politely covering his mouth; normally he might have informed the little ones about wasting resources, but in light of the circumstances...it was probably a good thing. As loathe as he was to use scraps from such a young civilization, anyway. "Like this, for example." The Sage pulled out a questionable garbage bin from the pile. "We do not have one of these!" There, see? A silver lining.
"Is it common for your people to be so wasteful?" He inquired of the group; his tone was purely curious, no malice was intended. Red eyes searched the group, seeing a wide range of little creatures that were mostly foreign to him. Something new to study the behaviours of, something new to fill the books he had to start over.
He had more questions, certainly; but Mahir had his attention. It was good to see his friend again, and even moreso that he hadn't lost himself in the forced move. That was, of course, until the King introduced himself. Then his attention went there, mildly scrutinizing him. A King who lost his crown? That was most unfortunate.
"Your Highness." Sal offered a low bow, still really unsure of what to make of such a young sovereign...then again, if this place was anything like Conquest, perhaps it wasn't too different.

A cerberus came by and suddenly hugged one of the horsemen. Furrowing his brow, he tilted his head at the guy before noticing that two more famine members had come on by. Materials? Well there was certainly plenty of junk around here. But what was junk to the students could be very well useful for the lost clans.
"Just Shun is fine, and... ah.." he blinked a bit at the question Mahir asked regarding their leaders.
"I suppose in a way, that would be Hellma, the headmistress of the school. Otherwise, our current Student council president is currently... indisposed," he said a bit darkly before staring at Thackery. King? Really?
"He isn't king," he added flatly while shaking his head, then glanced at one of the trash heaps.
"I think I see something in that pile that might be of use," he started before looking at the one that asked about them being wasteful, "That depends on the individual really."

The mention of 'Imperial Families' was ironically tied given who else seemed to be coming over to see what was going on. While he would break the pattern of Horsemen from Famine, Invictus did take his task of mediating and making sure things were happening as they should have been rather seriously. Then again, it was also possible that he was looking for any excuse to see even the most slight of familiarity in faces.
"You could ask them questions forever and never have all of the answers." Invictus said calmly, seeming to note the various things that were being flung about with some vaguely masked amusement, reaching out with one hand to summon something in particular to the gravity field that formed in his palm - not crushing, but good enough to summon small objects with.
Still, it seemed that there were some things that were of quite interesting use being thrown about, especially when it came to the group of Famine Horsemen who were scavenging about like it was their life's work - oh wait, it was.
His eyes flickered over to Shun, a lingering ominousness in his eyes which expressed some hard to place thought, before he looked to the item that had been called into his little force field. He then looked to Thackery, his expression still betraying nothing of what it was he was thinking about.
