Discovered food? Check. Ate food? Check. Napped? Check.
Becquerel found herself quickly running out of things on her checklist of things to do in the day. It was a boring life lately, and as she made her way to a nearby shore, she figured it wasn't going to get much better.
At least she managed to start combing the shoreline for some seashells. Surely her cousin Tax would like them! Ninjastrikes were the best at finding things, yup.

M'hurKh had no checklist, and today, he had little he really wanted to do. The vibrant, pale creature lay under one of the trees closest to the shore, boredly pushing around a pearl he'd collected, though he had... absolutely no idea what it was worth, and didn't care. It was just another shiny thing to him, proven easily, as he grew bored of the thing and batted it away into the ocean, not bothering to chase after it. The male sighed in his little helmet and let his head droop on his paws, his fins and scales body-wide dry, to the point of not even keeping hold on the sand, as the brute turned to toying with the sand by making use of his tailfin as a bowl, now.

Collecting shells, dried bones, whatever she could find proved to be tiresome as she stashed away everything. In her tail, of all places. But it wasn't that big of a deal to her, and she continued on her way...
Until she spotted something she had never seen before. A fish? A fellow noodle? Holy crap this was weird. Not weird enough to make her run and just weird enough to get her to walk closer. What even was this thing? Was it hurt?
"...Uh..." Was all she could manage before wishing she just stayed quiet.

M'hurKh's ears flipped up to attention as though on springs, before his eyes followed suit, eying the red ninja for a moment before his tail abandoned the sand. All at once, his whole frame was at attention and smiling, seeming propelled by springs, as he let the momentum carry him into a little bound closer to the fae, his tail wagging behind him like a puppy looking at a faux-bacon treat. "Hi, furpretty!"

All of a sudden, Bec's entire demeanor changed. Not for long, but for a moment she was on the defensive, head lowered and ears pinned back. Sudden energy like this from someone? It wasn't really something she was used to. But she quickly wrapped her mind around the concept of 'Giddiness' and went back to looking...confused. Not only did this guy look weird, but...'furpretty'? What a strange word.
"Erm, Hello, yourself?" Blinking as she spoke, she took a half step backwards.

M'hurKh just smiled at the fae, planting his rump in the sand and tilting his head, though the large fin at it's end still wiggled in the sand behind him, flinging little bowls of it back and forth as it caught them. "How ya doin'?" He cooed. "Lookin' fer pretty stuffs? You sparklies that sit on the shore sometimes. The ones that change colors in the sun." He just sat there smiling for a moment, waiting for an answer like a trained puppy jut waiting to pounce and play. "Hungry? M'hurKh could catch fishies. M'hurKh likes fishies. And furpretties."
