Doyle had recently finished with a theft in Katarina. He had quickly fled the city and was on his way to a rendezvous spot so his goods could be picked up. As of now he had Akakios packed with stolen goods, Archie also had his share of the load, Ark was scouting, and he had a sack full of extra stolen things. "Akakios..... you best mind and not stray." He said in a low voice. His Zebstrika had a tendency to wander off and 'lose' his cargo. Akakios wasn't a fan of hauling stolen goods or even being associated with any kind of wrong doings. So Doyle had to constantly watch him. Ark was off in the tall grass, keeping an eye out. Yes it was night out and many people didn't travel at night but they didn't want to stumble on any camping trainers. So she went off and made sure the way was clear. If it wasn't then she would either call out a signal or rush back to Doyle to notify him that way. Akakios had been shying away but hearing Doyle made him hang his head and move back to where he had started, near Doyle. He really hated being part of a bad guys team and tried to fight it every chance he got.((Oh.... Akakios in my journal hasn't been updated yet. sweatdrop But he's in my siggy in case you were wondering about him))

Walpurgis returned Gangrel to his pokeball as the rattata defeated yet another wandering pokemon. He grimaced at the memory of the gym leader hirings, mentally berating himself for having such a poor showing. He continued looking for pokemon to battle, hands in his pockets.
((I don't know how to go about making them meet, so I'll let you initiate that as well. >.>'))

Ark heard the sound of a battle and quickly moved to investigate. By the time she got there it was over. Only a fainted pokemon and a trainer remained. She didn't show herself but her form changed as she took on an illusion of a Vulpix. She was silently backing up so she could go warn her trainer but in doing so rustled a lot of grass.
Doyle was still a ways off from where Ark was and was starting to have to keep a closer eye on Akakios. The Zebstrika kept trying to give him the slip. Finally growing tired of it he made both Akakios and Archie stop and rearranged their loads. Now Archie had more and Akakios didn't. Which meant that he could now ride the horse like pokemon. He quickly jumped up, settled his bag and the load Akakios had, and then started them all moving again. "You are getting to be more and more trouble." He grumbled.
((Got cha covered! Doyle will eventually stumble across them if Walpurgis doesn't chase Ark.))

Walpurgis caught movement out of the corner of his eye. He turned to investigate - a vulpix? He hadn't seen one of those in the area before. No matter.
"Satori, faint attack!"
Out from the pokeball came a burst of red light as the liepard appeared behind the vulpix. A sinister grin spread over it's face as it brought it's clawed paw down towards the vulpix.

Ark had just managed to get into the taller grass where the trainer wouldn't be able to see her when the Liepard attacked. Her illusion quickly failed revealing the Zorua she truly is. She hissed at the cat pokemon and put her illusion back up. It took a moment to resume the form of a Vulpix and the only reason she could was because of the special training Doyle was doing with her. Quickly turning tail, she fled into the grass hoping that they wouldn't follow as she raced back towards Doyle.
Doyle was riding along peacefully now when he saw the grass shaking up ahead. "Huh..... I thought Ark was up there." He made Akakios and Archie stop, "Wonder if she ran into something and is coming back to report." He slowly slid off of Akakios and moved forward slowly.

"Don't let up! Another Faint Attack!"
Satori vanished again, reappearing just behind the vulpix. She missed this time, however, and quickly opted to keep on the vulpix, with Walpurgis shortly behind.

Ark had slipped trying to dodge and that somehow helped make Satori miss. She kept going and soon broke free of the tall grass. She caught sight of Doyle, in his full Team Rocket gear and the other two pokemon full of stolen goods. This was just great.
Doyle saw a Vulpix, a very familiar Vulpix, burst out of the tall grass. He was about to call out 'Apolla' but stopped himself. After all he had just recently gotten a call from Alexa gushing over how her Vulpix evolved into a Ninetails. It must be Ark in disguise. "Ark. Come here." He was glad he was off of Akakios and he quickly took off the Zebstrika's load after making him stop. He didn't want any of the electronics getting damaged when he had Akakios attack. "Akakios, use Thunderbolt."
Akakios was happy to stop and then have his load taken off. But then he was called to attack a Liepard and coming closer a trainer. He didn't do it at first until Archie nipped him. "Strika!" He called out letting loose a Thunderbolt in the direction of the other pokemon and trainer.

Walpurgis' eye widened as he caught a view of the the menagerie of pokemon, and most noticably, the bolt of lightning headed straight for them. Throwing himself to the side, Walpurgis recalled Satori as he rolled into the tall grass.
Poking his head lightly above the top of the grass, he spied the other human's uniform - Team Rocket. Walpurgis breathed a sigh of relief as he stood up, brushing the dirt off himself.
"Hey, man, sorry about that. Thought that vulpix was a wild pokemon. Ah, you probably don't know me... Name's Walpurgis Night. I'm a member of Team Rocket, too. You heading back from a mission? I could help lighten the load, if you like? Could even serve as an apology for attacking your pokemon? Ehehe..."
Walpurgis grinned and laughed nervously.

Doyle eyed the person who appeared not instantly trusting him. He could just be saying he was part of Team Rocket and actually be part of the police force or just a normal citizen who wanted to report a Rocket sighting. Upon hearing his name something clicked. "Walpurgis. Weren't you the guy that was sent to the Gym Leader try outs and utterly bombed them?"
Ark moved behind Doyle and thus closer towards Akakios and Archie. She continued to stay in the Vulpix form as she was taught to remain in her illusion until Doyle gave the signal. And so far the signal hasn't been given.

Ouch. Walpurgis' smile faltered for a split second before he responded. "Ah, yeah, that's me. The failure." He continued with a smile. "Somehow I was hoping it wouldn't have been such a commonly known thing yet, ehehe... But I guess news does travel fast in this region. Well, now at least we have the suspicions of each other out of the way, I'll extend my offer again - You need help with the load? Something tells me your Zebstrika isn't too keen on playing pack mule."

"I don't think it is that wide spread yet. I only know because I had been closely following the gym leader tryouts and I had heard that you would be trying out." Doyle replied. He didn't mention why he had been following the tryouts. At the offer he nodded. "Yeah Akakios doesn't much like helping out any kind of Rocket activity. " He replied before muttering, "Pain in the a**." Hearing Akakios and then Archie he looked at them. "Yeah I could use a hand. Supposed to going to a pick up site to hand off all of the stuff. Shouldn't be too far from here."
Akakios heard the comment and didn't much like it. "Zeeebbbb strika!" He snorted tossing his head. If Archie hadn't been so close and keeping an eye on him he totally would have zapped Doyle. Looking down he saw Ark glaring at him and shifted uneasily.
Archie gave Akakios a warning hiss and moved closer. "Eeoops." He then looked down at Ark who was glaring at Akakios and then back to Doyle. He waited to see if any of his load would be handed off or not.

Walpurgis nodded as he picked up some of the bags, regarding the zebstrika. It reminded him of Gangrel, full of disdain towards the rockets. But the other pokemon didn't seem to be unhappy with their trainer, so it likely was not the same situation as Gangrel's.
"I'm sorry again for attacking your Vulpix, man. As you might guess, we were trying to get stronger after our failure in Motterosa. Don't want to be the weak link, after all."

"It's alright. She did manage to get away and warn me that there was someone up ahead. Which is why she was away from my side. Ark is more like a scout." Doyle said getting the rest of the bags and putting them back on Akakios. He also lightened Archie's load to even things out. Once done he flashed Ark the signal to go back to her normal form. "And Ark isn't a Vulpix."
Seeing the signal Ark quickly dropped the illusion. "Ruuuuuuu." She called out staying close to Doyle. She flashed one last glare at Akakios and then looked at Walpurgis. "Zooooooooruuuuuuu." She flashed the other trainer a mean grin and then disappeared into the grass once more.

Watching the not-vulpix transform back into a zorua, Walpurgis had the feeling he had seen it somewhere before, but he shook the thought aside.
"Pretty useful magic trick. Satori can disappear, but that's about all we've got in the magic tricks department. So, what's the Zebstrika's story? Generally there's a reason for pokemon to act up. It's none of my business, but if you're willing to share..."

Doyle grinned. "We're full of tricks. A thief always needs good tricks." He said. Hearing the question nearly made him facepalm himself. It was such a horrible and embarrassing story. Why did he ever listen to Genesis on that mission? "Long story short I found him during a mission when he was still a Blitzle. Ended up having to capture him and it seems he's not the type to follow the bad guys around. I'm sure he'd much rather be with an officer or ranger or something." He said beginning to move again.
