The 1st Division Training Grounds. A massive facility that is by the most part underground. The two statues are each 300ft tall, and are in honor of two of the earliest shingami before the formation of the Gotei 13.

Raiku Sato Squad 10 Captain Raiku was leaning against one of the walls with an angry look on his face. "Why the hell does Kenshin want to see me this time? What the hell did I do this time?" Raiku then began to think, and instantly turned green. There was the prank war in his Squad that had ended up destroying a large area in the Seireitei, there were the 5 times he ended up in trees after getting drunk, and of course the pool of sake that had "accidently" ended up in Kenshin's room. And that was just this week and it was only Friday. "Oh man, Im screwed." Raiku had been going a little more wild than normal lately, partially because he had been drinking a lot more than normal. It was the only way he managed to put himself to sleep. "Or else I'll be awake all night with the memories." Raiku grimaced, his inner hollow had been reminding him of his past more often lately. In fact, the a*****e's power had been growing, but he decided to keep it a secret from everyone, except his 'advisor'. "This is my problem, I'll handle it my way."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.кєηѕнιη нιяσѕнι ⇨ ~ Leadership isn't about speeches or being liked... As Kenshin was finalizing some paper work back in his office, he soon got up to get prepared for a 'lesson' he had in mind for one of his subordinates based off a silly childish prank that was caused by the captain of the tenth division. It was apparent that Kenshin wasn't in the best of moods, as he was still ticked off at the fact that his room was flooded with sake, as he lost many of his personal items along with several of his beloved books. Once finishing his paper work, he got up from his chair and went over to the walls of his office, where he gently placed his hand on one the wall. It suddenly began to slide open from the middle, revealed a hidden arsenal of weapons, swords, daggers, poison, all of the such. Reaching for his usual katana's, he placed them on their usual spot and headed out the door.
Walking over to his training grounds, he looked around him as he made his way across the first division, enjoying the fine weather and the peace that was recently given to the soul society after the war with the Taizai. A true shame that war was with the great number of causalities and the fact that it the last head captain to assume power was recently killed. A true shame nevertheless but he was at least able to end such a horrible war. Sighing as he remember the memories of the war, he finally made it over to the building of the training grounds. It was relatively small, as he made his way inside. Inside there was nothing to special about this building, as it seemed like a very modest training arena. However, Kenshin simply walked over to a door and entered.
It was the door to a very long spiral stair case that was thousands of feet beneath the Seireitei. Once reaching the end of the stair case, he could see that Raiku was just leaning against a wall waiting for him. "Huh. At least he's punctual." Smirking, he walked over to Raiku and looked at him with a annoyed face. "You my friend have been nothing but a pain in the a** ever since I've taken the role of Head Captain. You've ruined my own room, destroyed a good portion of your own division's barracks, lord knows how many times you've ended up passed out on a tree and manage to take this role of captain as a joke." Pausing, Kenshin reached over for one of his katana's and drew it. Grabbing it with both of his hands, he got himself into a fighting stance and looked at Raiku. "Well guess what. If you want to continue being a captain, you will have to fight for that position. Fight for your title and show me your strength!" With that, Kenshin vanished and appeared in front of Raiku with a blink of an eye, with his katana flying straight down towards his head. ...it's the end result that counts ~ ⇦ ┏xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┓ Mood: Alive Location: First Division Training Grounds Zanpakutō State: Dormant ┗..xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┛

Raiku Sato Squad 10 Captain Raiku glared at Kenshin as he entered the room. Raiku had yet to develop a positive opinion of the man, after all he was an arrogant p***k and on top of that an ex-Royal Guard. He also had yet to show any positive qualities, though Raiku would admit that he is a little biassed. After all, he looked up to Animus, so to Raiku, Kenshin is little more than a ursurper. Before Kenshin attempted to attack, Raiku addressed Kenshin's concerns. "Dude, Ive apologized about the room incident a dozen times. Im telling you, those Rukon guys put something in my drink that night. It wasn't my fault. And besides, Im far from the only one who drinks too much." Raiku pointed this comment at Kenshin. Raiku had always suspected that Kenshin had been hung over during that introduction. "And I don't take my role as a Captain as a joke. You'd know that if you ever got off your pedastal for a second and actually acted like a leader rather than simply a boss. There is a difference between the two after all." Raiku then noticed Kenshin appear in front of him. Raiku seemed to be hit by the attack and fell to the ground. However Raiku instantly appeared behind Kenshin, revealing he had used Utsusemi. However, Raiku was in senka's formation and struck at Kenshin's back with his katana that he had drawn while using his technique. He had actually combined Senka and Utsusemi. If the attack hit, Kenshin would be in a lot of pain, but the places Raiku was aiming for would only graze his kidney's or stomach, but were non fatal.
