APPEARANCE
5'8", lean, lithe, and limber. Eyes are green, skin is darker. Hair is a sandy blonde, to his waist. Usually pulled back in a low ponytail. Has a dusting of freckles across his nose and cheeks.
PERSONALITY
✖ I'VE GOT THE SMARTS :: Intelligent and quick witted, Tristan spends most of his time reading various books. When in doubt, look for him in the library or a bookstore, since that's where he feels the most comfortable. He knows at least one fact about dozens of different subjects, and has a very bad habit of both correcting people (especially his family) and rattling off very random facts about nothing in particular (which can be really annoying).
✖ ANYTHING YOU CAN DO... :: ...Tristan can do better. Or so he thinks. Competitive, determined, and totally dedicated to whatever he does, Tristan is always looking to win a good fight, whether it's with a weapon or just a game of smarts. He's ridiculously over-competitive and is always challenging people, but it's never out of anger or irritation. He just likes to "friendly fight" (but win, of course). And if he loses, he'll mope around pathetically for a day or so and then the next day he'll be right back to normal.
✖ FROM MY HEART TO YOURS :: Tristan is both a daydreamer and a romantic. He'll rattle on and on about various romantic situations, and about all his plans to woo the ladies - none of which he actually does, since he gets too distracted and forgets what he was just doing. Slightly childish and a little naive, he's got a really good heart, and is very kind, but he's often too busy wandering and daydreaming to notice things. This also means he gets lost really, really easily because really Tristan just sucks at directions.
He does, however, take his job as weaponsmith very seriously. His dedication to the job is absolute, and he will do his best to provide for the customers.
ABILITIES
✖ Physical: Not really good at anything, but he's better at long-range. He likes working with a crossbow, but he's never actually had any practical experience with it other than shooting at the wall with it when his boss isn't looking. Bad at close-range and rather weak in hand-to-hand combat.
✖ Mental: The exact type to try and pretend a situation doesn't exist rather than face it. While he enjoys friendly competitions, he doesn't like personal situations that are too close for comfort, and tends to try and run away from them.
✖ Social: Definitely a social butterfly. Loves all types of people and will walk up to anyone to say hi and see what they're all about. He is best at making friends, since he has no qualms about who he talks to and has a very open mind; however, he is very awkward at maintaining deeper friendships. His heart is big, so he gives it away too easily and falls too fast too quickly. To keep this from happening, he usually tries to keep his relationships/friendships very casual, rather than anything more.
HOBBIES
Reading, challenging people, meeting new people, coming up with various ideas to keep himself occupied, pulling pranks (though he usually wanders off in the middle because he's so absent-minded), anything scientific (he's not science-smart, but he's fascinated by the idea all the same), creating miscellaneous gadgets.
✖ READING :: Obviously one of Tristan's favorite hobbies is reading. He is reading constantly and ALWAYS has a book in his pocket, and he is ALWAYS quoting lines from various books. He also wears glasses when he reads.
✖ COOKING :: Tristan loves to invent foods, and he's constantly trying to get others to taste his creations...except that he cannot cook whatsoever. He has really no sense of cooking at all, and is often getting kicked out of whatever kitchen he's in so he doesn't burn the whole place down.
✖ DANCING :: When he was younger, Tristan's father often showed him the basics of dancing so that he would be able to impress the young ladies later in life. Since then, he has grown to be a fine dancer and absolutely loves it.
