Boss Stats HP: 99 Auto Damage: 10 (hit or miss) Extra: Use a -8 modifier. For every missed attack, another insanity monster spawns inside the area. You do not need to fight this spawn, but instead ADD it to the area's tally in this thread. 2-10: You find the body of a fallen hunter, their weapon tablet lies on the ground but crumbles as you reach for it. The pieces quickly shift and expand into a large, insane creature. It's form is not very solid, and more cloud-like than anything. Boss Stats HP: 50 Auto Damage: 5 (hit or miss) Extra: because of it's form, use a -8 modifier for accuracy! This does not count with charged attacks! 11-32: A small, semi-solid creature snatches at you with painful claws and teeth. Mob Stats HP: 5 Auto Damage: 2 (hit or miss) 33: A very solid form attacks you, it's species is recognizable despite the desaturated form and flowing eyes. It's attacks are powerful and relentless! Boss Stats HP: 99 Auto Damage: 10 (hit or miss) 34-65: A large, semi-solid creature barrels into you! It's slow-moving but a bit more powerful than the smaller ones. Mob Stats HP: 10 Auto Damage: 3 (hit or miss) 66: A bunch of smaller, semi-solid forms attack you in a large group! Boss Stats HP: 66 (collective health) Auto Damage: 6 (hit or miss) 67-89: Nothing happens.90-98: A small, fairly solid creature swiftly begins attacking you! Mob Stats HP: 15 Auto Damage: 5 (hit or miss) 99: A creature that skillfully shifts from solid to fog-like, it's incredibly dangerous and difficult to handle. Boss Stats HP: 99 Auto Damage: 10 (hit or miss) Extra: because of it's skill with its form, use a -8 modifier for accuracy! The dorms. Syd was starting to worry about what they were doing to her room--to everything that she owned in this world. It was enough to overcome her hesitation, and have her heading for Aleister, a slight frown on her face. "Aleister? Would you go with me to the dorms? There's some things I would like to check on."
They were surrounded by hunters, which was another reason she wanted to get out--even if it meant fighting while she was there. She was getting a bit fed up with having no privacy--even less privacy than she was used to.

Aleister was sitting on a bunk still paranoid about the shadows but not as bad as he had been. There was still those moments where he would flinch or something.
Like when Syd spoke to him. He flinched, almost jumped; being slightly surprised. "Ohhh." He looked at the other hunter with wide eyes for a second, "Sure!"
He stood up and almost automatically Pookie had been summoned and was hung around his shoulders. "I should uh probably check on some things myself..."
He paused, "Lead the way?" Perhaps walking around the dorms would quell his jumpiness.

"I--I've been sort of useless until now," she admitted softly as they headed into the dorms. "I apologize. I'm not sure what happened, but I think all of us were somewhat... strange after that run-in with the phoenix." It seemed strange once they were in the dorms. She barely turned in time to see the strangely almost solid creature barrelling into them. It was large, and creepy. "We definitely should kill that thing!" she called to Aleister.

Aleister followed behind Syd. "Yeahh.... iunno what was going on with that." He answered eyes shifting as he watched for anything that was possibly dangerous. However, he didn't see the creature barreling into them. "ACK!"
He scrambled to try not to trip over it. "R-Right." He didn't like that thing. There was a frown on his face. As he grabbed the Puca from his shoulder and aimed it at the little creature. He managed to hit the thing with Pookie, "Oi I wonder why they're half solid."

"I don't know but I doubt he'd be willing to explain," Syd said, bringing up her crossbow and shooting. She blew it away. "You better have not been in my dorm room!" she yelled after the... dissipated monster. "What ARE those things?" she asked Aleister, completely ignoring the fact that he'd just asked the same thing.

Aleister paused when she yelled at the monster after it dissipated. "Uh.... You know you can't really yell at it, when it's dead." He said with a frown.
As he looked around, "I wonder if it's part of that phoenix thing...."
He gave a slight shrug, "So uh..... we going to your room?" He asked curiously, shouldering the blitz ball. He looked around to make sure he wasn't going to end up getting bowled over again. He was feeling a little bit paranoid again knowing that there were monsters EVERYWHERE.
"I hate shadows." He muttered adjusting his coat.

"Shadows are fine, its the big moving attacking monsters that are the problem," Syd said. Then she took a deep breath, shaking her head. "They aren't supposed to be in our dorms. It's--it's worse than being surrounded by monsters on that floating island. This is our home," she said. "They shouldn't be in our home!"

"But they can hide in the shadows." He pointed out as he looked around, "I-I think we should move. Standing in one spot could attract them."
He added moving to take her arm, "Lets..... just treat it like a video game. L-like pokemon, kay?" He said looking at her, before moving, "We should check on your room."

"So that was a ghastly?" Syd asked, trying to picture this as a game and doing a remarkably good job at it. "But we aren't going to capture them and train them, right? Because I didn't get any pokeballs before coming up here." That was a joke, actually. A very pathetic one.
"Are you feeling any better?" she asked him abruptly. "I've stopped hearing voices. It was really disturbing when I was."

Aleister gave a nervous laughter, "Yeah, I forgot pokeballs too."
He answered looking around, "I'm feeling better but it's got me pretty shook up." There was a frown as he did. Before he started moving towards the doors. "It's like that spooky house with all the ghosts."
He nodded, "Sooo..... uh.... Besides your room what else do you think we need to check on?"

"Yours?" she offered. "I'm sure you have something you're worried about, or want to have while we're stuck down there?" she said. Her eyes went back and forth and her finger lightly rubbed against her trigger. "Did you--did you have bad dreams?" she asked abruptly.

Aleister nodded, "Sure... err hopefully my game boy is still down here." He said absentmindedly he also thought about the bear, maybe he should make sure his closet was safe?
He paused, "I always have bad dreams." He muttered, "Those were worse though." His nose wrinkled as they walked. He stopped, "Did you hear someth----ackkkkk" He got barreled into by some small creature, nearly knocking him over.

"Yeah--" And then it appeared. For a second she thought about blocking, then she realized it was the same type as the one they'd last fought, and just started shooting. "I think we should call it ghastly!" she called to Aleister. Not that she'd ever spent much time playing pokemon, but it seemed to calm him, and a calm Aleister was one that hit hard.

Aleister nodded, "R-right Ghastly."
That seemed to settle better with him than just thinking monster. He wasn't really sure why, though he pulled pookie swiftly from his shoulder and aimed the Blitzball for the little creature's gut and watched it dissipate.
He started to say something and then closed his mouth, he shouldn't jinx them. "This is, slightly.... stressful." He said with a frown. "I... hope my game boy still has good batteries." The thought seemed to worry him a little, that wouldn't be good if he didn't have batteries.
"You have a cd player right?" He asked thinking she'd mentioned something about music.
