Right above the moss stone grave laid Ki, she looked rather compromising with her legs hanging over a ledge. The rain and thunder had stopped and the wild pokemon where getting back to normal activity. "Finally, my goodness you think I killed someone with all this commotion" she said half heartly. She was waiting for the jigglypuff who watches over the grave. The last time they met she was less than pleased with him. She tried to go to the opening of a moss stone. She was denied accesses due to suspension of her reasoning. The fairy pokemon take serious the precious stones found in the cave. When she came back to the grave to try to bribe her way in Kirby the jigglypuff wouldn't even blink at her. She tried bribing him with rare items such as kings stones , rare potion mixes and baked goods. Not a thing peeked his interest. He sent her off in a rather foul mood. She swore to herself that she would find away in.

It was curious why the dark type would want to see a moss stone. It isn't the only one in the land. The jigglypuff most of thought she was after more than a glimpse at a moss stone. In truth she wanted more than to look at the moss stone, she wanted to cut a peace off. This stone had to deep connection to her. Back when she was still just a pokemon she had a leafeon friend. She spent most of her time with him. They loved collecting little items here and there. Just small stones , funny plants, and items pokemon made.

One day they decided to find a rare moon stone. They went in through a cave higher up the mountain and work their way down till they got to the mine shaft. At this time it was open to the general public with a few restrictions. The two had gotten to a part of the mine that was highly off limits. They were climbing ledges, leaping from rock ledge to rock ledge. They had gotten to a ledge where you could see a huge moon stone. It sparkled and shined like nothing you could imagine. The two sat above it eating their lunch chuckling up a storm when the tragic happened. The ledge they were sitting on gave way. Ki was able to jump off and grab onto the side of the mountain but her friend could not. Ki tried to find him but she was kicked out of the mine.

She spent years not knowing what happened to her friend. After this event the mine closed to the public, and Ki found her magic star. She went on to keep collecting rare items. She was hurt by the fairy pokemon kicking her out of the cave and treating her like a criminal. Sure she shouldn't of been in that section of the mine but the fairies didn't even listen to her. They treated her like she had pushed him off the ledge. As time went on her heart grew cold. She plotted her way back to the stone, this time with items so rare it couldn't be refused. The jigglypuff was now half way to his post. She started to fix herself up.

The Jigglypuff teen known as Kirby, solemnly walked to his station. By his birthright, he was given the highest honor in the Iggly Tribe of guarding the sacred Moon Stone caves inside Mahina Mountain. These caves included, not only Moon Stones, but also the Moss Stone Grave. This was where he was heading currently, and he had a strange sensation that this was not going to be a normal, uneventful night. This sense heightened his normal tension. Too many times had beings tried to steal stones from the caves, he was never at ease anymore. And he had the scars to justify his paranoia.

When he arrived to his position, his sensations were rewarded with proof. "Why have you returned to this place?" He spoke in a low, angered tone to the older woman that was propped on the ledge. "You have been warned to never come back to this place." With a quick flick of his thumb, he popped the usually-sheathed sword out and into his awaiting hand. Stretching his arm out, pointing the sword at Ki, he glared. "Leave and I shall not report this infraction to the elders." He narrowed his gaze. "Stay and you will know pain."

She was surprised he hadn't noticed her change than again the brush and shrubs covered her well. She softly jumped over Kirby. "Calm down Jigglypuff , I am not here to bother you" she smiled. She hid her voice and copied the young Ho-Oh female Ho’s voice. She turned around and shook her head and took a deep breath and her eyes soften. This wasn't easy for her, she wanted to take his self righteous judging butt and fling him down the mountain. Something about the fairy pokemon, they tend to quickly come to conclusions. This never makes dark pokemon happy and Ki was no different. "I am here cus Entei blessed me with his magic star and now we are one of the same" she turned around to look at him. She weaved a good story of lies. Sadly Entei had not blessed her, and his life was now at risk because of her.

"Look the thunder storm is over, I helped stop it and now I have been blessed with giving away the other two stars, and I couldn’t think of a better person to give one too" she smiled. She wanted to scream. She wanted to grab that sword he carried and truly show him pain as he worded it. He didn't understand what happened to her. The secrets this mountain held, Ki would love to get her wrath but today was not that day. She jumped back to the ledge she rested on and grabbed a red velvet bag and then jumped back down. "Now you can tell your elders whatever you want" she was shocked Kirby didn't start attacking her right away. Was he already braking down, was this job post grating on him? The last time he met her, she hardly got to speak before Kriby had her in a submission sending the dark type away. Today he was willing to let her sneak away. This was not like him and to Ki this showed great promise.

"Here in this bag you could hold a mite as gentile as a river and a power as strong as a hurricane" she looked deep into his eyes "Or you could become a hero strong enough to wage thunder and brave all elements" she knew what star he would pick. She opened the bag and the power of both dogs reviled itself. "I have so much respect for you Kirby, you can see what your elders can’t, and you are a true warrior. I want to help you get to your potential" she fed him what he needed to hear. Sure his elders are not perfect, and yes they do have secrets but for good reason. Ki didn't care what reasons they had. What they did to her was wrong. They should have listened. They shouldn't have treated her like that. She didn't want to hurt anyone or steal anything. She was just having a good time with her friend. When he fell she just wanted to know what happened to him. Couldn't the elders see that, couldn’t the fairy pokemon see her heart.

It was there rash decisions that lead her to this point. She did all of this just to see her friend and that was it. She had no other reason to be here. Maybe it was one of the elder’s egos that rubbed Kirby the wrong way. Ki didn’t care she would use it to her advantage. No matter their reason for denying her accesses. Today was the day for ‘closure’. Closure is all she ever wanted and closure is what she would get even at the expense of the beloved Entei and the other dogs. She needed this, she could taste it, she just needed Kirby to bite. She looked at him “Do you trust me?” she said. How could he not with a voice as kind and loving as hers.

His blue eyes narrowed further. He couldn't deny her logic that the storm was over and she definitely looked to be touched by the legendary beast, Entei. Easing slightly, he lowered his sword, but did not sheath it, just in case. He listened carefully, trying to discern if her words were truth.

As she opened the bag with the two stones inside, Kirby couldn't help but show his surprise. His narrowed eyes widened as he saw them glistening in the light. He'd only heard stories of the stones, he didn't think they were actually real. And for her to have them, that was something else entirely. There was no way she could have stolen them, she had to have been given them, just like she said. Perhaps he had been too quick to judge her. Sheathing his sword, he took a few steps closer to the woman, getting a better view of the stones.

Ki's question of trust caused Kirby to remember his duty. He jerked his head up to stare into the face of the woman. Eyes narrowing once again, he tried to read her. Of course he didn't trust her. He didn't trust in anyone but himself. But, she had been blessed by Entei. His thoughts battled each other, perhaps the elders had been wrong about her. He looked over her and the stones once more before answering. "No, I do not trust you... however," he paused, "I see that storm has ended and there is no way you could have taken the stones by force." He dropped his gaze to the stone of Raikou. He would become the greatest the Iggly Tribe had ever seen. They would no longer need to guard the caves for fear of his wrath.

Eagerly, Kirby grasped the star, it immediately being absorbed into him. A pain like no other shot through him, causing him to drop to his hands and knees. A force like an electric current ran through him as he yelled out in pain. "WHAT IS THIS DEVILRY?"

"YOU FOOL" she shouted . This was not her plan, her plan was telling him not to use the star till she was steer clear away and had already been into the 'moss grave'. She had no time to think. The star would soon summon Raikou. Her eyes looked a rage. The Entei hybrid slashed at the disoriented Jiggypuff. Leaving three large gashes on his chest. Then with the speed of Entei she grabbed his sword and pushed him with bolder smashing strength. Kirby flew through the air into a thorn bush a few steps down from him. He slid into the a stone wall uprooting the plant. Ki was gone like the speed of light. She was running and had no clue where to. Ki nearly felt like braking down and crying. She didn't have that option, she had to keep moving. She was getting into the grave no matter what the cost. No set back would stop her.

Like Ki predicted soon Raikou appeared where Kirby once stood. With him was the elegant Ho, her rainbow hair blew in the wind as she jumped off his back. When Raikou saw his likeness beat up and slammed into wall he looked greatly upset. Ho walked down the steps to see what her friend was looking at. Ho gasped "Kirby" she looked distressed. Ho remembered the Jiggpypuff, she knew him back when he was just a Igglybuff. The elders of the mountain had always showed him favor. He was known for his loyilty. The Ho-oh quickly used ' Sacred Fire' on the bush. She knew getting the bush untangled from Kirby would be impossible. She ran over to him. "It is true, Ki has the stars. That means she still has the Suicune star, I am not sure what she is up to, but I have feeling Kirby is more friend then foe, Raikou follow Ki's scent and find her" she stated. The dog bowed his head. It was better to listen to Ho then act on his own feelings. He sniffed around. Once he was able to pick up her scent he howled to the south east side of mountain. Telling Suicune, and the Arcanines helping find Entei where he was heading. The large electric dog headed off after Ki.

Ho stayed with Kirby. He might not of been lucky with Ki but he stumbled into a thorn push with healing berries. Scared fire only burns away the unwanted or unholy, so she was able to salvage the berries. Ho remembered seeing a back pack left behind by Ki. In it she found a few supplies that could help her smash up the berries and turn them into a paste. She also used water from a bottle to wet some of Ki's garments and use them to clean up his wounds. She then used the back-pack to lift Kirbie's head. She then slowly started to put the paste all over his wounds. It took her a good hour before she felt comfortable with his state of being. Ho could hear the barking of the dogs. "What have you done Ki, what have you done" she said out loud as a tear fell from her eye.

The Jigglypuff teen could do nothing but groan and wince in pain as the star's power began to wash over his body and change his form. It didn't help that he was also slammed around during his change. He had passed out long before he even hit the wall.

His sight was blurry as he reopened his eyes. At first all he could make out was someone leaning over him, he felt nothing but goodness and kindness flowing from this person, however, so he was in no fear that it may be Ki, come back to finish him off. As his sight became clearer, he could make out colors, so many colors. It was as if the rainbow itself had come down to help him. He'd only seen this many colors on one being before and he prayed that it was not her who was tending to his wounds.

"H-ho?" he groaned, his vision now clear, and his wounds hurting less. He winced, as he sat upright, his body coursing with electric energy. The healing salve was working, though he would retain the scars from Ki's scratch.

Kirby felt ashamed. He had fallen for the woman's tricks and now seemed to have put far more at risk if Ho was here. "I-I am sorry, milady. I have failed." He kept his eyes averted, not wanting to sully her image with his sight. He was so angry with himself now that his new electric powers began to misfire, little sparks shooting off of him. He didn't even notice right now, though, he was too filled with inner turmoil.

As the sparks surged through the Jigglypuff Ho backed up. She kept calm "Kirby I am going to need you to breath in and out, you need to be able to control that power" she turned around and looked at the entrance. "Why does she want into the Moss Stone Grave, are there rare items in hidden? Maybe a rare star she is looking for? Why would she go through all this just to get in there" she asked with her back to Kirby. She breathed in and out. Images of Eneti flooded her mind. She took another deep breath. She allowed herself to feel the elements. She cleared her mind "What do I need to do to stop this?" she asked.

As Ho meditated, the head elder came out of the grave. He is a very old Clefable "She wants to see the Stone, because it appeared after her friend was buried in the cave, she is the reason for his death" he bowed. Ho could tell something about this story was off but her solution laid in the fairy elder . She looked up to the sky "Thank you". Ho face went from peaceful to stern "Then she is looking for closure, and you will give it to her. She isn't going to stop her rampage till she gets it. No more suffering needs to happen over something so simple" she turned her head "You shall wait for her, and you will listen to her. I want no surprises from you" she turned back looking him in the eyes. "Aslo Kirby no longer works for you, it is time for his own adventure to begin" she nodded. "Only Pokemon shall watch over the grave from now on, no turned" then the great bird faced Kirby. He seemed to be calming down. Ho had one last thing to tell him. The elder turned around, he was ready to face his judgment and did not argue with Ho.

Kirby did as he was told, he dare not disappoint Ho again. So, he took deep breaths, trying to calm the storm that now raged within him. Eventually, the sparks died down until there were none left. The pain too eventually dulled until he could bare it with little thought. He looked over his new form, impressed at the power he could feel but guilty that he took the power for himself. How could he have been so foolish? This decision would prove to haunt him the rest of his days.

The Jigglypuff hybrid stood, listening to Ho speak to the elder, not truly understanding why he would not be allowed to guard the cave any longer. He wanted to protest, but knew whatever Ho had planned, it was for the best. She had never steered anyone wrong yet, that he was aware of.

When the young woman turned to face him, he could tell that his part was not yet finished. He averted his eyes to the ground, bowing respectfully before returning his gaze to her kind face. "What do you wish of me, m'lady?"

She looked out at the bright sky and took a deep breath "It is time Kirby you go on adventure of your own. You were never meant to guard a door. A door that should of always been open. It is time to live out your dreams" she said with a smile, yet her heart was in pain. She looked out and then squinted "Look you can almost see the moon" she said with a smile. "It will be bright tonight, I hope it brings good news" she said with a bit of grief. She turned around as the elder walked back into the moss stone grave. "I was not aware of the events going on here. I must ask that you learn to forgive Ki. You must if you will do what I am going to ask" she nodded her head. She looked back at the faded moon. She said a little prayer and closed her eyes. She wanted to make sure what she was going to ask him was right. She was not about to be rash.

She exhaled and nodded her head, then turned to him as rush of wind flowed from wings. She went on to tell Kirby in certain amount of moons he must return from his journey and help Ki nurse a moss stone back to health. "This will not be an easy task Kirby, Ki will not make it easy for you. Ki lives in an old hotel filled with Ghost Pokemon. She is allies with the head ghost of the hotel, he is a Rotom. He understanding but protective" The bird pokemon closed her eyes once more. When she opened them she went on to speak "You must not live in the hotel, but outside of it, you are a good camper I am sure you will be able to handle yourself" she stated. "Most of the pokemon in this area are grass types , you must watch over them too, make sure Ki does not harm them" she stated. She smiled "But for now, and even when you start this new mission you must find joy" that was the most important part of this speach.

"You must learn about yourself, test yourself , and most of all" she started to chuckle a bit "learn how to have fun" she bowed her head. "I do not know where you need to go, I just know you need to enjoy life and do what your passionate about" she looked back at where the moon hid in the sun light. "I believe you will find your way, just like I will" she nodded. "I hope you have faith in me too, for I need it" she stated. A small tear formed in eye. She let it roll down her cheek. "Friends and joy are the most important part of life" she took his hand and looked into his eyes. "The star has chosen you, I know you don't accept that now, but I pray you discover that truth" she then looked back that moon. She pointed at that " Let the moons guide you Kirby, and most of all listen to that that brave heart" she let go of his hand. She heard howling. "It has started" she said with a strong tone.

Piercing blue eyes intently watched every move Ho made. Kirby was not about to lose sight of the one person who seemed to believe in him. He listened intently to every word and ingrained it in his mind. He could tell that this was all very important and that she was weighing her words carefully.

The whole speech was a bit overwhelming for him, given what had just happened. Leave? Leave everything thing he knew? But why? How? Where would he start? His mind was a torrent of questions, matching his new-found power. But, he kept his mouth shut. He would do everything asked of him. He would find a way. "Yes, m'lady." He bowed deeply, showing every ounce of respect he had for Lady Ho.

He surveyed the night sky briefly, eyes falling on the moon. He felt a tug to the south in his mind and wondered if this was some invisible thread pulling him in the direction that he needed to go... to the haunted hotel that Ki called home. He did not fear ghosts, their powers had no effect on one of his type. But he still kept Ho's words in mind. You must not live in the hotel, but outside of it... Most of the pokemon in this area are grass types , you must watch over them too, make sure Ki does not harm them.... He closed his eyes and kept repeating this in his head.

But for now, and even when you start this new mission you must find joy. Kirby's closed eyes tightened as the sentence was also repeated in his mind. Joy? How was he to find joy while watching the sinister Zoroark? His thoughts coiled in malicious ideas to the point he shook his head and opened his eyes, bringing him back to the here and now.

"Please, you must call upon me whenever I can be of service to you." Parting words, he felt were needed. As soon as he had heard the howl, however, he drew his sword. It was his instinct, if there was danger, he would face it.

The legendary pokemon folded her hands. She faced towards Matsutta Volcano. She looked greatly grieved " Well Kirby, I don't know. I can say I found myself outside this realm. Just remember when you need to get back to Ki" she stated. More tears came down her face " I have to leave, Entei is trapped in a cave.... I must get to him" she looked worried. "Please Kirby, don't allow your feelings to cloud greater judgment, this should of been dealt with sooner, I apologize. Things should of never gotten to this point of rage. Your elders did not follow law and there for Ki let bitterness take over. I should of stopped her before she found Entei's star. Yet I must believe the star found her, just like it found you. I wanted to see Ialu and get my friends to him... I believed my want was greater than Ki's need. Do not be bitter... for you will end him like her. Don't let time pass. You never know when it will be gone. Learn to forgive. I forgive your elders and Ki. I just hope the price of my mistake doesn't cost a life... or more" her wings started to flap.

"Lets hope this results in complete absolution for us all!" she said with great power. She walked over to him. She kissed him lightly on the forehead. "Stick up for the weak, be a warrior of true character Kirby, I can't wait for us to meet once more" she smiled in her pain. "I have a feeling it will be under much better circumstances" she turned back to the direction of the volcano. Suddenly a great feeling of darkness came over her. It was like being hit with a knife. Her heart felt torn. A flash of some kind of evil possessed her mind. It was a precursor. She buckled her knees. Whatever was a head of her. She was ready to take it on. She would do what was right from now on. She would listen to her spirit, not her mind or heart. Both mislead her and she was now picking up the pieces of Ki's broken heart. She turned back to Kirby she just smiled she placed her left hand over her heart. She closed her eyes. She wanted him to know she would take care everything from this point on. He was free, he didn't need to be the hero of this chapter. For some reason she was being pulled to leave and no longer speak. She did her best to connect with Kirby. She hoped he got her message. Her boy friend Caden seemed to understand her when she did this. Entei always did. Oh sometimes. It was hard with him lately. She then lifted her feet and with great force her wings picked her up and with winds so powerful she blew off. The backpack that was Kibie's pillow blew off the mountain. All but one item of Ki's processions blew away. A copper flask filled with holy water was left behind. Everything else was gone. Ho vanished into the clouds. A faint rainbow was left behind. Her journey of absolution began.
