Once his mind is set on something he will never move. Not unless you threaten the life of someone he cares for. Even then, perhaps he won't budge. It depends on what his opinion or choice is, and if he believes the others threat. His emotions are stubborn, too. If he is happy he will attempt to hold onto this emotion for as long as possible. Any emotion is treated with this behavior. He doesn't react well when others try to persuade him or order him about. Sometimes, he reacts with a simple brush of the shoulder. However, if you try and force him to change expect cold, cruel words directed at you, sharpened to hurt. He dislikes anyone attempting to control him, even Amei, and lashes out.
■■ Guarded; While he is known for being extremely stubborn, he also is very guarded. He doesn't like people. He doesn't like strangers. It's hard to befriend him, mostly because something makes the male recoil from others. He isn't sure what it is, then again, he never cared enough to think about it. Perhaps he is afraid of being disappointed or hurt. Either way, the male guards his emotions completely. He refuses to let anyone in, yet there is a way past his guard. Amei did it with simple love and care, though it took awhile. Fakir stiffens at physical contact from strangers, and tends to become hostile if people press to much. He needs someone either willing to deal with his cold remarks or someone willing to give him enough space and yet still be in his life. It takes time to break down his barriers, however if you do you will find a loyal friend that will protect you forever. Someone willing to murder for you.
■■ Articulate; Despite being guarded, he is capable of voicing exactly what he wants, and in seconds. He never is at a loss for words. He doesn't speak much because he believes that if you have nothing to say then don't. He doesn't really like idle chatter, though he tolerates it for his friends. He is able to express himself clearly, though he often doesn't. He hunches over a lot because he is used to trying not to make Fakir feel short. » »xxp e r s o n a l i t y xxxxxxxxx ■■ Honest; Amei is painfully honest, though he attempts to sweeten the truth as much as possible. He believes that a truly kind person must be honest, even if it hurts. Lies do not help anyone. Walk up to him and ask if your jeans make you butt look big and he'll be honest. Then, of course he'll attempt to help you properly dress. That is, unless you want your butt big. He's also extremely honest with how he feels. If he's sad he refuses to push it aside, he will accept it and allow it to play its course. He is both honest to himself and others. He accepts his limits, accepts his weakness', and accepts other peoples flaws as well.
■■ Compassionate; He loves the world. He does not believe anyone is purely evil. Everyone has a bad side, everyone has a good side. He tries to see the good in others. He is able to sympathize with others and puts the effort into caring for people, even the bad. He is a man sensitive to others emotions, and honestly cares. Rarely does he actually try and harm others, and this is only if he's sent into a blind rage by Fakir being attacked.
■■ Protective; He strives to protect others, and perhaps this can be annoying. He shelters people, and often babies them. He really needs someone to set him straight at times, or he'll end up wrapping the world in bubble wrap. He's the kind of person to just jump. Due to this, someone can easily trick him. He also becomes completely broken when he is separated from the ocean too long.

Fakir was carried about in the bag of a mysterious figure until one day a storm knocks the bag from his carriers arm. The bag rolled and spilled, his bottle escaping and falling into a small muddy nook hidden from the sun, luckily. There he stayed until Amei stumbled upon him. » »xxp r e s e n t xxxxxxxxx ■■ Amei finds a small bottle while fishing. He isn't sure really what to do with it, but he falls in love with the swirls and colors inside. It gives him a calm, almost pure feeling as he stares into its depths. It's clear he doesn't know what it truly is, but then again, how would he? Taking the bottle away to his home, he accidentally stores it on a sunlit shelf where he collects several bottles. When the bottle seems to shudder and dim he panics and quickly removes it from the sunlight, putting it on his nightstand where light did not reach. Thankfully, the bottle seems find then. This strange bottle is special to Amei, and he loves it dearly. Though, he's slightly curious about opening the bottle.

Anyway, the village is near the water, many of its residents being fishers. There is a nice little market where you can trade fish for items or simply pay money. The village is blossoming and sweet, if a little quiet.  » »xxh o m e xxxxxxxxx
■■ Amei has a nice home he inherited when his parents passed. Each room has heavy curtains that are always closed, except for his room. Fakir and Amei sleep upstairs, in separate rooms. Amei has made the several smaller rooms into functional places meant for fishing poles, a bathroom, or guest rooms. One room, the second largest minus Fakir's room, was made for Fakir as a library, seeing as he can't attend school. This rooms walls are hidden behind full book-shelves, and the floor is often littered with books that cannot fit anywhere else. The downstairs is a sitting and living room, a kitchen, another bathroom without a shower, and a tiny hall that leads to the basement. The basement is mostly empty and used only for storms.

■■ Zalut: One of a handful of local doctors in the village. He is the best doctor in the village, but he doesn't seem to be the nicest. He does as he pleases and often comes off as cruel due to his finicky nature of who he treats. Often, he can be swayed with large amounts of money. Amei and Zalut were childhood friends, so he offers his services for free towards him. He is fairly kind to Amei.
"One of my closest friends, though I'm not oblivious to the rumors. He's a good person, but he has a strong desire for money. Greedy, I suppose, though I really hate calling him that. I.... I wish he'd realize that money isn't everything."
