Ada has always been a shapeshifter. Her parents left her on her own at a young age, just as any other shapeshifter does. She's been defending herself pretty well, considering she can only shift into animals. One day she got hurt trying to get away. She turned into a kitten, and ran into the forest, but came to a shocking realization: she couldn't shift back. She ran into a family camping, and their boy, who was sixteen, took her in. Ada enjoyed acting as the housepet, and dreamed of the day she could turn back as a human. She had to make a choice: live a lie and be loved as the housepet, or take the risk and be loved as a shapeshifter? PM me if interested. Name it 'Worth it?' She was forced to prove herself by living alone a few years and returning alive on an arranged day. However other shifters are sent to fight her, and see if she's worth it. Ada doesn't fight. She evades, turning into different animals amoung the way, making it difficult to track her. Eventually she was stuck in cat form, and picked up as a stray. Ada hated running. The streets and forest of Germany were clean and all, but she just hated the phsyical exertion in such a small form. That, and being an adorable animal sometimes had disadvantages. Sometimes she didn't want a family to pick her up because she was being tracked. However this time, anybody would do. She was in the forest, but she wouldn't dare go back to the city. They were waiting for her there, sure she'd return. Her psuedo home was there, and she was wounded. Yet Ada knew there had to be someone camping nearby. Families always camped this time of year.

It was the middle of the night and he wasn't able to sleep so he just layed there on his cot and looked up at the stars when he heard rustling near the camp he looked over expecting some normal animal when he saw a kitten he sat up and walked over to it and knelled down and looked at her seeing that she was wounded so he picked her up and went and fixed her up as best as possible.

Ada mewed in surprise when she was picked up. She looked up to find herself staring into a pair of greenish-blue eyes. She paused for a moment, then her tail started flickering around, showing her irritation. Her ears were moving a bit too. Twitching at the slightest sound. This boy may be a stranger who liked kittens, or an enemy.
When he was patching her up, Ada let herself relax. He wasn't an enemy after all. When he was done, she rubbed her head against him, purring. Might as well act like his pet until she was healed. Or at least act tame enough to get food.

"Hi there come on I'll take you home to let you heal up properly." He said as he picked her up and set her in the basket of his bike and rode home leaving a note for his parents explaining what happened.

Ada tried not to wince as she was picked up and put in the basket. Sure the wound was bandaged, but it still hurt a LOT. Still she enjoyed the view outside as she felt the wind through her fur. It was so nice outside. Everything was beautiful. She tried to ask the boy what his name was, but when it came out as a single kitten meow, she remembered she was still a kitten for now.

"Hi to you too." He said back to the small meow he then said. "My names Kylar and I know I must be crazy for talking to a cat like a human but I don't care." He said as he got nearer to his house.

Ada simply stared at the boy with abnormally intelligent and focused eyes. She should have acted like a kitten, but she didn't feel like it now. She mewedcin in response, trying to say 'Yes.' but knowing the words she wanted to say would never be heard. Ada knew with an injury like she had, she was stuck in kitten form until it healed. It was a miracle she had even managed to get to that form in the first place.

He chuckled and said, "Don't worry we're almost there." He said as he got to his place which was paid for by his parents his family was among the richest family in Germany so he was able to get his own apartment not too far from his parents.

Ada purred a bit. Since she was gonna be stuck like this a while, she may as well try to act like a cat. She looked at the home, and realized this boy must be wealthy. Huh. Lucky break, maybe? Either way it was good that somebody would be taking good care of her. Especially since she needed it most right now.

He then carried her up to his apartment which was the biggest and best one there and he then made a makeshift bed for her and he then set her down in it gently.

Ada had a mix of emotionis when being carried. She liked and hated it. She disliked the feeling of being carried because she was injured and felt helpless. Yet the like came from being carried by someone like him. When a makeshift bed was made, and she was set in it, she pressed herself against the warmth of it, purring happily. It's been so long since she's felt this warm. She didn't remember the last time she was warm or had a decent meal.

He then got her something to eat and drink when he said. "No I've got to get some sleep." He said as he went to hi room and lied down.

Ada happily ate and drank what she was given. She didn't even remember what it was. Just that it tasted good. She curled up in a ball, and wanted to get some sleep, but there was one classic probelm. She was afraid to sleep alone, in the dark, in an unfamiliar place. She meowed pitifully a few times, shaking. She wanted to go after him, but was afraid. Afraid her real-life monsters would take her if she tried to leave this makeshift bed, to go to his room. She didn't even know what his name was.

He was lying there about to sleep when he heard the meows so he got up and walked over and picked her up saying, "Alright you can sleep with me." He said ling back down with her.
