My name is Lunel and I am an equalist, the reason I support Amon's cause is, his way can finally bring true peace with no wars, no crimes and no bendism (bending discrimination). Benders are not evil, but bending is, it only brought wars and crimes to this world, a world where everyone is equal can be greater and more peaceful.
Join us now, even if you are a bender, your bending abilities will not be taken away when you join us, Amon will take them once our rebelation is finished.

A world where everyone is equal will not make any change. Eventually someone will disrupt peace and try and rise up against whoever. Greed and Power corrupts the mind not bending. I think Amon is corrupted. Maybe at some point when he performed the spirit bending technique he was corrupted like the lion turtle told Aang. "The true mind can weather all lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can touch the poison of hatred without being harmed. From beginningless time, darkness thrives in the void, but always yields to purifying light." And from Amon's scaring back story I wouldn't be surprised he was consumed by all of the hate and vengeance, I do still believe darkness thrives in the void and as of right now it's channeling through Amon.

There are a few flaws in your logic.

In the world we live in, no one can bend. We have wars, we have crime, and although we don't have bending discrimination, we discriminate about other things. Like race, religion, and opinions. So Amon bringing true peace in the avatar world is just horse-snot.
2. Benders are not evil, but bending is, it only brought wars and crimes to this world, a world where everyone is equal can be greater and more peaceful.
Bending is not evil in any sense. It's actually a very spiritual thing. Now, the way people decide to use they're abilities is what causes people to fight and discriminate. No. No one is equal or ever will be and as long as people like Amon and Hitler think like that, we'll never be able to even achieve alittle portion of peace.
