Nothing.
Not a soul thing of interest had come across his path in the near week he'd been travelling. The mere thought that he had perhaps collected every valuable item in the lands was nonsense. There was no way he had found everything there was to find. There was so much ground to cover, and he'd been out so little ... in such a LONG time.
Sighing, the male ruffled his mane in frustration and gripped his claws deep into the earth. There had to be something here ... something he could hoard within his private collection. Something that could later to prove to be of an even greater value than he had expected. The problem was - he had to actually find it. Something he wasn't having a whole lot of luck with.
A quick scan of his area told him little of it's inhabitants. It was an overpopulated area, full of random plants and trees older than he could even count. His eyes weren't really the best for detecting those in stealth, he was much more keen on detecting items. Which didn't do him much good at the moment, there didn't seem to be anything here.

 Pant. Breath. Pant.
Shavar had been going for a long time now, it was amazing how much stamina he had left from training all morning. But this. This was his favourite thing to do in the whole world. Running. Running as fast has his feet could try him, it was almost like fly but on the ground. He ate up the dirt with four tiny paws and leaped past rocks, hills, dips in the earth. It was exhilarating and he was so greatful to have been born a cheetah.
Finally he stopped a few minutes later, a new record. He looked around the area in which he got himself into. It didn't really look that familiar but he wasn't too worried...yet. The sky looked decent enough; no storm clouds on the horizon. Swallowing dryily he looked around for some water to get his throat functioning properly and then it would possibly be more time for more running. Hopefully in the right direction of his would be home.

A disgruntled look crossed the male's face as he dug his claws into the earth. He was debating whether or not this was a good place to dig, but from the feel of it he couldn't really tell. This whole area was frustrating! It was so foreign in context to what he knew that he was certain he would find nothing that would interest him.
The sound of paws quick on the ground pulled the male out of his grumpy stupor, and he quickly darted his head to locate the noise. His sense of smell had been off for a while now, he'd definitely learned his lesson about bullying strange looking animals... But, his eye sight was still keen enough to pick up on the cheetah as it barreled into the clearing. At first, he was thankful for the intrusion, and took a slight step forward to greet him. But he quickly retracted his paw and ruffled his mane.
This male was obviously here for his loot, and he just wasn't going to have any of that.

Thanks to his training with a twitch of his nose Shavar caught the scent of lion before he saw the feline. Brown and...pink? He shrug mentally who was he to judge with marking such as his on his own body. " Hello there," He greeted cautiously as soon as he came to a stop. He came closer but not too close that he couldn't escape from danger if necessary.
"How goes-ack!" A random cloud of dust blew into his face and he hacked as it went everywhere. "Oh-gross...it went in my mouth." He croaked and looked at the male lion in horror before looking around for some water. Shavar wasn't one to shy away from other forms of felines as he had been raised most of his life among other males in his training camps. Plus if there was ever an issue he sure as hell was fast enough to escape on his quick feet.

With a bit of a sneer, Fio held tight to his ground. Widening his stance to make it more difficult for the male to pass. He had been here first, he had first rights to anything found here! But, after a slight inspection it began to dawn on him that perhaps that wasn't what he was here for. His stance loosened, though not very much.
"Oh hi.." He grumbled the words, with his face staring down his potential enemy. He noticed the space between them and nodded respectively at his opponent.
With a loud laugh, the male bared his toothy grin and lost all sense of the situation. "Heh, you're lucky it wasn't a fly! I ate one of those once as a cub ... really um crunchy?" Fio snorted lightly and looked over at the cheetah again. "So, what brings you out here? Anything ... specific?"

Shavar's eyes widened at the sound of the others loud laughter and then filled with even more horror at the prospect of swallowing a fly. "Achoo!" He luckily in time turned his head to the side to sneeze as the dust somehow got up his nose. "Crunchy huh?" He shuddered at the thought. " Well in honesty, I'm just passing through. Me and a couple of males miles back... we spend most of our time training. Like running drills, hunting teams, etc. Basic and not so basic survival training." Shavar took in the toothy grin warily not wanting any trouble. Though there was no doubt of escape, his speed was legendary amoung those he lived with.
"How about yourself? Just in the neighbourhood? " He used a thin arm and small paw to touch his chest in greeting. "I'm Shavar'Nix by the way." He always tried to get those he met to open up for the simple fact of having allies incase of future disasters, it couldn't hurt to have a backup plan.

Fio stepped back a bit at the male's sneeze, a little bit of a disgusted look on his face. He wasn't one for germs, and even if the male wasn't sick, he was capable of passing them on. "Bless you.." He whispered, careful not to get close until the germs had been blown away by the wind. Allowing his grin to return slightly, he simply shrugged his shoulders at the crunchy comment, really unsure on how to follow that one up.
"Training huh? That's a strange way to spend most of your time." Fio paused a moment, thinking back on his own life of hide and seeking. "Guess i'm not one to speak much for others though." Fluffing his mane slightly, he continued on with his answer. "Yeah, I guess that's one way to put it. I'm actually just taking a look around." Scanning the area quickly he realized he wouldn't get far if he had no clue what he could be looking for. "You don't happen to know anything at all about the area do you?"

Shavar almost raised an eyebrow at the disgusted look he received but decided not too because sometimes it just wasn't worth it. "Yes sir. I was and am training," He spoke and positioned himself formally. "Not really, it hones ones skills when encountering battle or gaining a food source." He watched as the other lion looked around the area.
"Well, I guess that would depend really. If you are looking for a good area where you can hunt then yes I do. But if you are looking for connecting lands attrached to the rogue lands than sadly I can not help you." Using his paw to gesture to the left he continued on. " That area over there... well I would be careful where you step. Not only is it hilly there are some rather large wholes that are very deep."

Fio snorted once again, his mane fluffing out awkwardly with each new one. "I guess you've got me there. I'm not much for exerting more energy to I need to. Unless there's something in it for me." He shrugged his shoulders and watched as Shavar explained the area. There wasn't much of anything the male noted that drew his attention. That is, until he noted the holes.
"Hills huh?" His eyes fell over the area and he tried to give it a look over from where he was. Usually holes meant the area had already been dug over, but maybe, just maybe he could find something there. "I'm Fio by the way. Sorry, i'm a little caught up in my own thoughts at the moment. It's good to see someone else out here. I was beginning to think I was alone!"

"Oh I see," He spoke out not really trully seeing how one couldn't exert ones self. Shavar was a buddle of energy that lived for being active. "That's a nice name Fio, I haven't met anyone in these parts with such a name and I have met quite a few. You don't have to apologize, I've run into others that are... way worse in the 'tude department, but I blame that for their social awkwardness. I got to know them a bit better."
"Look I don't have much time-"He looked over his shoulder to make sure his drill leader hadn't spotted his absence.... which by the cross look he had noticed. "I can take you to the border lands if you want or you can go off on your own. I don't know if you wanted company but.. I'm sorry I really have to go back before they whip my furry butt for breaking formation. Decisions up to you really but you have to make it quick sorry dude. "
