 Despite finding a couple nice animals that could almost be friends with her, Mubina was still very depressed. She kept thinking back to the day that it happened. Her mind was fully set in the past. Her fur was scraggly and her body thin from rarely eating. The pangs of hunger were far less painful than the heartbreak she suffered from.
Mubina was currently wandering the lands with her head hanging. She wasn't paying attention to where she was going. Out of nowhere, a solid wall of fur was blocking her path, her head butting into the warm body. She looked up, not really thinking, right at a male lion. Her legs started to back up before she could even think. "I'm sorry," she squeaked out. Would he attack her? Would he try to mate with her and ditch her? At this point, she thought the worse of every male to ever walk these lands.

 Hajime had been sitting meditating again. It was a very calming thing, and he found the smaller animals found it a curious thing. Which was how he'd ended up covered in a few birds and at least one meerkat - He made the perfect place to sleep for that last one, as the only predator stupid enough to come near a lion was a hyena. There were a rather amazing few of those around Hajime.
The collective of birds suddenly took wing and flew off in shock and alarm as something bumped into the lion and began to apologize. The lion blinked, before looking around, then at a cheetah. She looked like she'd seen better days... As the meerkat scurried off, Hajime shifted to avoid falling over, "Oh, you're quite alright... I was just sitting here, nothing more..." He then leaned over a bit to try and look her in the eye. "Are you alright? You look very down and under..."

Mubina's eyes strayed for a moment, following the birds in flight. If only she could be one too. Instead, she was standing in front of a rather impressive and very male lion. What confused her was his reaction. Was he being genuine? How could she ever trust any male again? Then again, he didn't look like he'd want to mate with her. Not like she could outrun him in her condition to begin with.
She shook her head at his question. Her whole body seemed weighed down by depression. It was so stupid of her to fall in love with someone so eager to snag the next available female. "I caught him cheating on me." That was all she said as she sat back on her haunches. She refused to say his name or she might burst into tears. That would be so humiliating to do so in front of a stranger.

"Oh... Well.." Hajime took a seat, settling into a more comfortable position. His joints protested after having been in that meditation position for a bit too long for their liking. "Why not leave him behind, find a new start somewhere else? If he's got a habit of doing this, I don't think he's much worth your time.." He leaned over so that he could look her better in the eye. "You seem like too nice a girl to be tied to somebody who doesn't appreciate those around him, my dear..." He swore he could see tears trying to fight their way out with the cheetah fighting to keep them back.

Mubina kept her eyes cast down. She didn't want to change his pleasant demeanor. Her ears remained perked and alert to what he was saying even though she didn't look at him. This lion was far nicer than the cheetah that had cheated on her. It confused her further. Why would a lion be nice to her? She doubted she looked pretty and her fur was quite ragged from neglect.
His words allowed her to blink back the tears. "Start anew?" She almost didn't know how to start anew. "Do you...do you have advice as to how or where I should start anew?"
