Alexa walked into the stadium feeling a little down. She had lost her first battle against a kid. A kid! He was really good and with some aiming errors and poor decisions.... well it was no surprise that she lost. But she had a chance to redeem herself! If she just beat her next opponent she may be able to move on. Of course she had no clue who she was battling..... or who she would use. Should she give Masked Socks a chance or allow Apolla or Stribog a turn? She almost wished to see what pokemon her opponent was going to use so she could decide.

Flitn stepped out onto the field, feeling quite a bit more nervous than the first time seeing as he and Rush had lost, but there really was no shame in loosing to a legendary. Their called legendary for a reason. With a slight sigh he lifted his head to see who his opponent was this time and couldn't stop himself from gapeing " Alexa?! your my opponent?"

Flint looked at the screen witht he battle informtion and saw that he was to send out his pokemon first.he took a moment to run a list of his own pokemon as well as the Pokemon he knew Alexa had through his mind, of course if she had gotten something new since the last time they met he could be in trouble. Making up his mind he pulled out a poke-ball " Maya, lets do our best!" he called and released the little electric rodent  Maya shook herself as she materialized several feet in front of Flint. she tilted her head at Alexa a chirred curiously, wondering if she would really have to fight her Pokemon.

Alexa was stunned when she saw her opponent. "FLINT?! You gotta be kidding me! What are you doing here?!" The next thing to flash through her mind was the incident where they went for a jog and nearly died due to Flint getting them lost and then running into some quicksand. "Oh you are so going down!" She said suddenly angry. It was time to make him pay for that time. "Stribog! Let's go!" She tossed out a pokeball and watched as her recently evolved pokemon popped out. Stribog flew over the stage and took in his opponent. It felt good to stretch his wings and for once he was bigger than his opponent..... oh it was going to be like that more often now that he was an Altaria. "Tttttaaaarrrrrriiiiiaaaaa" He called out. HP: 1000

Flint winced at Alexa's outburst, he had hoped she would be over that by now... with a sigh he considered his options. At the moment, Stribog had the advantage but that didn't mean he couldn't still win this. " Maya use tickle!" he said, the move had always a amused him but as silly as it was it was still very useful. Maya chirred in response and dashed to her trainer, deftly scaling her way to his head where she launched herself off and glided her way to the Altaria. After getting a grip on his fluffy fur he began using her tail to tickle the flying type wherever she could.

"Stribog we're not having any of that!" Alexa called out, "Use Mist!"
Stribog was craning his neck to look at the little pokemon when she began to tickle him. He dropped a few feet as he stopped flapping his wings and was laughing from the sounds of it. Hearing the command he began flapping and created a white mist that began to cover him.

Flint frowned a bit, that wouldn't work, so it was time to switch strategies. "Maya, use encore!" he called. The move could still miss, but it was more accurate than a electric attack.

Alexa groaned when the Encore worked. Great now Stribog would just use Mist over and over again.
Stribog was so pleased with Maya's encore that he used Mist again.

Flint couldn't suppress a grin when the move worked "alright Maya, time to go on the offensive! Use thundershock!" from where she still clung to Stribogs fur, she began to charge up with energy and released it in the form of electricity

"Just you wait Flint!" Alexa called out. She was really glad that Altarias were a flying and dragon type as it made electric moves just a normal attack. She didn't have to worry about extra damage.
Stribog's fluff poofed up even more after the electric attack. He then rolled over and flew around trying to get Maya off of him. He then went to use an attack but instead used Mist again.

Maya squirmed for a moment, desperate to keep her handhold. " Maya do it again! Thundershock!" Maya chirred in affirmative and charged up again, once more releasing a wave of electricity at her opponent

"Hang on Stribog! And try to shake her off!" Alexa called.
Stribog fell a bit when hit again with the Thundershock attack. He then went back to rolling and swooping to try and get her off. He again tried to attack but only used a Mist once more.

things seemed to be going well for now, so Flint decided to take a small chance in hopes of keeping their advantage. " Maya thunder-shock again, but try to paralyze him this time!" Maya was struggling to maintain her grip, though it was a loosing battle. Before she fell she loose the attack, then glided to the ground and landed safely.

Alexa watched as finally Stribog shook Maya off. "Great job!" She called after her dodged the bolt of thunder, "Time to hit them hard! ICE BEAM!"
Stribog quickly flew down to dodge the Thundershock. Seeing the Emolga on the ground his beak began to glow blue. Soon a beam of ice was shooting towards Maya.
