Bix eventually was able to shower and he slept for an indefinite amount of time. The albino hunter didn't bother to go check on anyone else. Most people were in this same room if they weren't out clearing parts of the island. He didn't even have it in him to be worried. He just wanted to get out of there at this point. Get fresh air, even if the fog shifted and twisted it. It was only fresh in that no one else was there. But it was dangerous and he couldn't go alone. Bix wanted to sleep in his own bed soon and that meant he would be chipping in at cleaning the dorms. His bros were in various stages of distress and Cass was knocked out. Marcus was with her, of course. He'd not intended Molly to come up lower on the list but he preferred spending his free time with her, not his work hours. It was easier to pretend that they were normal when they weren't wielding giant magical weapons to fight shadow monsters. He stood around the exit and tapped out a text message since he didn't see her around. Lucyal Gonna work on the dorms. Wanna get out of here?

Molly had been finding it easier to sleep in uh…Killzone’s mediation room. She just sunk right into those beanbags and she was lulled to sleep by the sound of Enya. It was perfect really, especially since sitting in that room happened to ease her nerves and her worries. The Mist was sprawled out on said bean bag chair with her phone resting on her stomach as it went off. Molly started a bit, blindly reaching for it and holding it up to her face. She blinked. …Oh! In invitation to form a party…? With her? That was really nice… iloveyouDIE Alright! Be there in a few moments! : ) The trainee rolled off of her bean bag and pulled on her tattered Mist coat, securing the snaps before she wandered out. It didn’t take too terribly long to locate the albino hunter, and once he came into sight, she greeted him with a smile. She couldn’t help but think of what happened earlier..and well…she hoped everything was alright. “ Hello, Bix!” Molly greeted softly as to not echo too bad in the cavern. “ Thank you for the invitation! I think that’s really nice.”

Bix was stewing slightly, from everything, on edge and trying to ignore the random voices that teased at his consciousness. He was honestly almost regretting texting Molly because he didn't to chance them not getting along. Not after what happened with Cass. "Hey." Bix looked up and suddenly felt better. Something about how Molly was able to keep it together, at least outwardly, it was more reassuring than he was sure she knew. At least for him. "You don't have to thank me Molly." He smiled a bit, not as wide as usual maybe. "I'm glad to see you in a good mood. It's pretty grim around here." He started to walk, heading to the above ground where they would reach in moments.

She reached up to tuck some hair behind her ear as she smiled a bit more at his words. “ Being grim wouldn’t help me or anyone else…I think…eh heh…” She moved to follow after him, mulling over some thoughts for a few moments. “… I mean…I…I can still walk and talk and…you’re right here next to me walking and talking and…and all the other trainees too…that’s…that’s good enough for me to be happy…” Molly made a small face then, rubbing her cheek. “ Oh…I’m sorry if I’m rambling…I…I can shush.”

"You're not rambling.. you don't need to shush either." Bix sounded a little exasperated with her subtle apologies but he just shook his head. "Sorry I'm edgy. The.. things." His head darted towards the fog when they emerged above ground. It swirled around them and the silence was oppressive. Out of the corner of his eyes things moved and snuck around. They always seemed to be just out of sight. "I'm not used to this. Being... broken. Everyone is." He thought that he sounded very dramatic but he couldn't find a better way to describe what was going on. "No one wants help or to feel better or.. " He looked very frustrated and rested a hand on top of his own head, hopelessly. At least the dorms were close.

Molly almost started biting her lip again as Bix sounded exasperated. Uh oh. She was bothering him too, wasn’t she? Her worried expression seemed to relax though as he indicated all the things around them, and Molly took a moment to let the oppressive silent atmosphere that was Deus Ex wash over her. She really felt like she understood the term ‘ghost town’ at the moment, because it was just so devoid of any human life up here… “… It’s alright, Bix.” She murmured as he apologized, glancing here and there as they made their way to the dorms. She then looked over at the albino hunter as he spoke, lips pouting outwards as she seemed in thought, and after another moment, she smiled, wider than she had been previously. “ I want to feel better.” Molly announced. “ I want others to feel better too, but sometimes I think it will just take time…time and kindness, both of which I am more than happy to give.” As they drew closer to the dorms though, Molly fell back a bit to summon her monster lance, and rested it on her shoulder as she stared at the dorms. “… Um…” She looked back at Bix. “… If there’s anything I can do to help you out, please let me know….alright? If…if you want to talk, I will be your ear!”

Before he summoned his weapon he paused at the dorm door. Bix let out a deep breath, one that sounded heavy like he'd been holding it for a while. His red eyes were sad but not in a bad way. He fidgeted a moment with his hand on the door. It was as if he was thinking but then he made up his mind and turned to her. "You're great. You know that?" When he said it he felt a small weight come off of his shoulders. "I mean the world basically, and literally, collapsed around us. My best friends are like shell shocked war vets, a girl I consider my sister pretty much called me a hopeless s**t in front of everyone.. and.." He picked at the sleeve of the grey sweats he'd been issued. "You're just so happy and upbeat and I know you are probably hurting inside too but it's nice that you try to help everyone. Or just me. it's nice that you try to help me." Bix said it matter of factly. He wouldn't take a dispute from her or any brushing off of his comments. Just a second he paused and reached for her hand. She was already holding her lance so he just tentatively rested it on her wrist. Once his skin was touching hers he tightened the grip, more solid and supportive. "You know you can talk to me too. If you aren't feeling so happy. It's not a burden and.. its normal. With all the stuff we see and do.. it's normal to be upset. I just hope you know I won't even comment on it if you don't want. I can just listen too." And after a long stare he pulled back his hand and smiled, the first one in a while. "Now umm.. let's go get some clean underwear and kill some monsters." He chuckled and summoned his bow, perhaps hoping to not prolong his sappy speech. He was really only a few sentences away from confessing his crush but with everything going on he just thought and second guessed himself too much to take that step.

…Maybe she should be going first? Molly pondered this as she lingered behind the intermediate trainee, since she had a melee mid-range weapon and Bix was a distance fighter, though any thoughts were derailed as she noted him pausing up ahead. “ Um…is something the matter…?” She paused as he turned to face her, blinking at his sudden and surprising words. Her? Great? Molly blinked again, just staring at Bix as he spoke as a blush slowly rose to her cheeks, a blush which darkened as soon as she felt his hand on her wrist. One hand tightened on the lance, and the other left the handle to lightly rest her fingers on top of his hand. She stared back for a bit, before Molly ended up ducking her head shyly, moving her hand to rub her cheek as she looked down at the toes of her boots. “ Wowzers.” She squeaked. What did she say to all those nice and encouraging words? “… Th-thank you Bix. That really means a lot to me.” Now she just felt all the warm fuzzies in her heart after hearing that though. “ Y-yeah!” She agreed, shifting her lance into a ready position. “… Um…Bix? If it’s alright with you, I think I should go first…okay? Um…because you’re a ranged fighter…”

Bix realized his own face had turned red almost in time with her own. To see her slightly embarassed made him feel the same. It lasted just until she mentioned going first and he realized they were about to go fight.
"Oh no.. that's a great idea. I've got you covered. Make sure to let me get some shots." It was half a tease but also good advice, he'd hate to shoot her in the back because they weren't coordinated enough.
"Ladies first." He pulled the door open and revealed the dark, empty hall into the dorms. The fog licked at the doorway, small wisps here and there down the halls. He was sure he could see the shadows moving.

She seemed relieved that Bix didn’t take that offensively, and beamed at him. “Heee…I was thinking I got you covered, but I think we have each other covered, huh?” She giggled softly before she readied her lance and nodded. “Why thank you, kind sir.” She replied, taking a deep breath as she lowered her lance in front of her and started to make her way down the dorm.
Luckily the young woman came prepared. She dug around her small bag until she fished out a small flash light, and tucked that into the folds of her scarf, pointing forward, so that she could keep her hands free. Everything seemed okay so far…it was oddly quiet, and the mist was playing tricks on her eyes, but it was quiet until—
Molly let out a high pitched squeal as she was suddenly pushed into the opposite wall of the hallway as something large barreled into her. Apparently the Misty didn’t take kindly to being surprised, and out of pure instinct she grasped her lance tightly in both hands and pierced it right into the creature.

Bix's bow glowed eerily in the dark hall and when the shadow beast barreled through the two of them, Bix may have over reacted after Molly's first blow and he riddled it with arrows. The shodows practically exploded.
"That wasn't so bad." He nodded to Molly as they pushed forward. "Nice hit."

“ Oh, thank you! That was an excellent hit by you as we—“ Molly didn’t have that much time as she was pushed right into the wall again by another creature. Just like the last one that they had just fought, actually. The Misty let out a surprised cry again, too stunned to make a swipe at this one. HP: 34/40 DMG: 0 Charge: 1/3 0/2 spent
