Blast it! Where was that dreadful rabbit? At this rate he was more likely to find that Queen before he'd even find a trace of the rabbit. Why had he decided on finding the rabbit first anyway? After all, if the rabbit was simply late to everything then wouldn't he just show up late to the herd later all on his own? It was certainly a possibility and was quite likely to happen. Perhaps he'd ask himself when he woke up. Yes, he would certainly do that. Chessur supposed that he could ask himself now, but they had been traveling for quite some time and even he needed some rest now and then. No, he could wait. In the meantime perhaps he could gain a few hints on the wonderlands before he awoke.
Catching sight of a forest up ahead, the creature made his way towards it. Forests had holes didn't they? Perhaps he would find the rabbit in there? At the very least he figured that he should be able to find something, after all, forests weren't exactly empty. Come to think of it, hadn't he met Alice in a forest once? That silly girl, always going on about some nonsense or other. He wondered how she'd ever managed to survive wonderland. Well, if she could survive that wonderland than she was just as welcome in the new wonderland. Without a Queen to threaten her head she might even fare better than she had originally. Even without a Queen, Chessur was sure he could still have some fun with her. After all, this was Alice he was talking about.

Eldorada simply couldn't believe that it was taking this long to gather the information she required - the spy had told her it may take some time to infiltrate the herds of the area and return with some decent facts..but Eldorada had not supposed it would take this long. She was seriously considering moving on - finding some new land and new herds to gather information on...or perhaps just find a better spy. This was the sort of thing one should expect when dealing with Peasants she supposed.
In any case the mare found herself in a dreadfully ill temper as she stalked about the forest, half looking for a suitable place to sleep and half simply attempting to work through her frustrations as it was sure to keep her from sleeping tonight. Of course she hadn't expected to come across anyone else and one look at the creature before her and she could tell it wasn't the type of creature she wanted to run into. She wrinkled her nose slightly as she took in it's shaggy coat and large toothed grin. Perhaps she ought to run..but no running would designate her as prey and Eldorada was no ones prey. "Just what..pray tell are you?" She questioned the creature in a bold tone.

Chessur didn't know how long he had been walking for before he ran into the mare. In fact, he might have walked right on past her if she hadn't spoken first. What an odd mare, she certainly looked too... clean, to be wandering about a forest like this. Where on earth had she come from? Such a demanding tone. Was she someone he knew? Was she perhaps from the wonderland as well? No, she didn't seem to be. However, she did seem oddly familiar. For some reason she reminded him of that dreadful Queen. What had they decided? Hadn't they decided no Queens? Or was it just no to the Red Queen? He couldn't quite remember, but perhaps no Queens was best. Oh but what about the White Queen? Wasn't she good and acceptable? He must remember to ask himself when he woke up once more.
"I'm Chessur The Great Glasgow." He told her as if he was surprised that she was even bothering to ask. "And who might you be? So lonely yet you don't seem frightened. Where have you come from? You're not related to the Red Queen are you?" He asked her rather skeptically.

It wasn't so much the stallions name that caught her attention as the words "the great' that he tacked onto them - what was a Glasgow? was it some sort of nobility that she didn't know about? Or was it just some self styled title that he'd come up with on his own?
Eldorada was inclined to believe the latter..until he started talking about Queens..maybe he was some sort of Royalty, or knew the royalty "I am related to a queen" She told him after a few moments "Though she was never called the Red Queen that I know of" She continued while still trying to decide what to tell him."I am from a far away Kingdom and I'm looking for the nobility of the area..do you know them? My name is Eldorada and I demand you take me to this queen you now immediately! I've had quite enough of wandering through the woods like some common mare!"

The Glasgow studied the mare carefully. So she was related to a Queen after all then. And a distant land? Perhaps she was a part of the Wonderlands after all. Was it the White Queen that she was related too then? Perhaps, but she certainly wasn't as nice as the white Queen that's for sure. He didn't believe that they had ever heard of this Eldorada, and by no means was he tracking down the Red Queen. Just the thought of it caused him to break out into hysterical laughter.
Finally catching his breath, the stallion answered her. "Well that's all well and dandy but if you wish to keep your head you don't want to meet her. Some Queens are better left unmet. You say you're related to a Queen but not the Red Queen. What Queen are you related to then?" He asked her, avoiding any further discussion of that dreaded Red Queen. Queens, who needed them anyway? Certainly not they.

Eldorada narrowed her eyes slightly at the stallion before her - clearly if he was some sort of noble..or worked for a noble he was an uncultured heathen and cruel if he was about to let her keep staying the woods. Since no self respecting Noble would do such a thing Eldorada was beginning to think she was simply in the presence of another Peasant. Great.
"The Queen of the Dawn" She told him smoothly, it was a title her pale mother had been called from time to time - owing Eldorada thought to the coloring of her hide. Something they had shared. "But those lands are lost and I seek a new land to help rule and guide in the proper way" She told the beast "Hence why I am seeking the royalty in the area - so that I may move my plans forward"..by seducing a prince or knocking off the current rulers, starting a revolution...it didn't really matter to Eldorada..but she saw no reason to tell this stranger that.

Queen of the Dawn? Chessur hadn't heard of such a Queen before. She certainly wasn't a Queen of Wonderland that was for sure. So that meant that this mare wasn't a part of the Wonderland either. Oh well, at least she wasn't the Red Queen. He really did appreciate his head and preferred to keep it. Whatever this mare wanted, she certainly couldn't want to actually meet the Red Queen could she? Nah, he'd best not take her there. Although he did have a rather suspicious feeling that she wasn't about to let him simply leave. No, he'd have to come up with something. Perhaps he had an answer?
'You there?' He thought to himself. He really did regret waking Chessur, but he was afraid that it might not be helped. Sometimes having two minds made things a bit easier. He certainly wouldn't want to disappoint himself with whatever choice he made. No, he needed himself. 'We have a uh... someone requesting the Queen.' He continued to think. 'Perhaps you should talk to her?'
"Really now, you don't want to do that." He continued to talk to the mare. Hoping that Chessur would wake up. "She's a nasty thing she is. You're better off looking elsewhere."

Yes she was definitely in the presence of a member of the peasantry, just who she had wanted to avoid - an one that seemed a little bit off if she did say so herself, what with the way he seemed to be half distracted while he talked to her. Sighing slightly to herself Eldorada considered her options - it sounded as though this Red Queen was someone the locals in the area feared - well perhaps she did not want to meet her then.
Perhaps she could entice the locals to revolt - and of course help them to embrace a new and 'kinder' Queen..namely herself, afterwards. "I see..is she really so terrible then?" She asked the stallion her tone switching from demanding to sugary sweet with sympathy. "That must be horrible for all of you who live here..."

The cat swished his tail a moment, trying to think of a way to stall for time until he awoke. Yet it seemed that he was determined to sleep. Grumbling at himself, he gave up and put his attention on the one before him. Did she still insist on seeing the Queen? He supposed that if she felt it necessary they could always take her. It would simply be her own head that she lost. Even if Chessur valued his own head and despised the Queen, it was still a great deal of fun to watch a beheading.
"I suppose you could call her terrible. She has this thing about heads. I don't think she likes them very much. Or perhaps she likes them all too much? Either way, if you value yours you certainly don't want to go around upsetting hers. One moment you're having a nice cup of tea and then the next, POP! And your head is off. And life is rather dreadful without your head I'd say." The cat babbled on a bit. "Most here are rather terrified of her. I find her intriguing but We keep our distance, oh yes We do. We value Our head quite a lot We do. And if you value yours you'll stay away from her." He warned the mare.
