Edith Carr. Marcus was a bit unnerved but hey, a moon lead was a moon lead and she didn't seem crazy. If anything she was a bit intimidating but hey, he'd take that. Better than Creepy Dr. H, Bankai Allan, Mysterious Aria, and PMS Caelius. He'd deal. Even if Julie was dead and he'd ******** up and felt terrible and <******** everything.
He needed to stay away from Cass for a while. Conflicted he wasn't sure he quite understood himself and his feelings. Much less her's. Both of them were acting up and out and it was all around terrible. So his solution? Invite Dakota to help him run through the labs like their leader had suggested. "So." He began by summoning his sword listening for any of the creatures lurking. "What do you think we'll find?"

Dakota wasn't too sure how to feel about the moon lead. One hand, Awesome a female leader who was cute as hell. On the other hand....Julie was dead. Gone. ******** man. It was messed up in a weird way. He liked Julie, he didn't know Edith. Could anyone make up for the rainbow bouncy energy of just...No.
He was wrapped all up in bandages but felt loose, pissed and needing to beat things up.
Chama was twirled in his hand as he blinked, s**t it was creepy as HELL right now. Fog dense as ********, Voices in his head.
It was the beginning of a b-rated Thriller movie where either Marcus ended up the Slasher...Dakota did....Or some random person they didn't even know but saw once on a external mission.
He grinned as he looked around.
"Hopefully the Pods so we can wake some sleeping beauties?" He grinned, "Am i right? I could use a hottie right now..." Just as dakota said that though, something formed in the shadows and baralled into him.

Marcus shrugged. He was still not sure how to deal with his feelings. Cass and- things. Voices whispering in words he didn't understand certainly didn't help his problem. Neither was the fact that he was pretty sure he knew what she wanted. With the ring. But was he ready? Hardly. He wasn't sure she wanted it still. "I have a lady. I think."
Still he cast Dakota a pointed look, wondering why he wanted a hottie. Did he- "I don't think a sleeper girl will want to ******** fresh out of the pod dude. Never mind that they-" A blur of shadows, and Marcus stabbed at. "Looks like we found one of these pests infesting the area."

Dakota slashed out with Chama, hitting the the black blob of mist formed and frowned.
Slashing things, it help didn't it? His voices were still just a whisper. Just a whisper.
"You think you have a girl?" Dakota blinked, "No, YOU have a girl. Cass is your girl brother." Dakota came to stand by the Moon hunter.
"Kat's in the pods still...She was sent back to sleep..." He looked at Marcus before shrugging. "She's the only real sleeping beauty I know of. That and I'm not really into sex with half comatosed bodies. We just need more sexy females. JUST ALL OF THE SEXY FEMALES OKAY.

Dakota didn't get it. Hell he didn't get it. He just- "Look she doesn't need me." It came out harsher than he intended, but it was not the worst thing that could possibly be said. No that was reserved for saying, "She doesn't love me all right. No one does." The last part was just above a whisper, but it was still said.
Looking back at Dakota as he stabbed the creature again, Marcus sighed. "So wait, you want girls...just to look at?" His mind was boggled. "That seems.. kind of sad":

Dakota blinked at Marcus.
"What s**t are spouting?" He stuck his finger and his ear, twirling it.
Yeah, Dakota didn't like this side of Marcus. It was annoying.
"I am 100% positive Cass needs you d**k face. Otherwise she wouldn't be the mess she was in the infirmary...." Dakota watched as the shadow dissolved, then examined the finger from his ear and flicking ear wax away.
One: Gross Dakota, Two: What the ******** are you preaching? Especially as you had that whole fit of being a Brat. Cue whispering voices.
"I love you." Dakota put his hands on Marcus's shoulders. "No Homo."
"And ******** you very much I do want girls just to look at. Thanks." Dakota grinned. "I'm one of the brat's of this place. I'm a kid here. No one takes Kids seriously."
Cue emo moment for Dakota.
"Nobody needs a kid defending them...."
/cue emo music

"She needs me? Bull, she didn't need me before the island and it's not like there isn't anything she can't do that I can. And she was probably just hormonal or something. I dunno." He huffed, "and yeah, love you but no homo. and no thank to the offer of ********. You have your hand."
He went there.
"And dude no, you're not a brat." As a second creature popped up, Marcus slashed at it. "Gale is younger then you and he's taken seriously. You joke and s**t, but you're my friend you know?" He stepped back from the creature as it got his side. "I need you okay? So cut that s**t out."

Really now Marcus?
Dakota grinned as he came over to his friend and......punched him in the gut.
"She's always needed you dumbass. I don't know if you noticed but Cass....She's kinda of shy, she doesn't open up much. Your the only one she does too....the only one she talks to and be's herself with. Stop being..." Dakota waved his hands over Marcus..."This man-"
He blinked and then laughed...really...really laughed.
"Hey man, I didn't say anything about ******** YOU per se. But you know, I think everyone would accept it if we did. Just so you know, I am the big dipper in ALL things." Dakota grinned again. It was starting to feel normal. Even when the voices whispered, Dakota didn't feel so...down.
"Yeah but Gale is serious about everything, everything he does too. I mean I know I joke, cause like...yeah.." Dakota frowned, "Alright. Alright. I got it. I need you, you need me. Bro's for life. I got your back Marcus. Anytime."
And proceeded to show it as he flared Chama over Marcus's shoulder at the blob, disengrating it to ash.

Grunting at the punch to his gut, Marcus briefly glared daggers at Dakota. Jerk, punching him like that but not really. "And? She deserves better. She's not shy. Not shy by any stretch of the imagination. She's sweet and kind and worries about others more than herself and she tries so hard Dakota." The creature dead his shoulders sagged. "She deserves a hell of a lot better than me." The voices whispered in his head and Dis was trying to sooth his worries and fears. He was trying, yet it wasn't enough. "I'm fit to be a person's friend Dakota, but that's about the limit to relationships sadly. You'll have to find a different guy to spoon with." As he said that, he felt a sting in his leg. Looking down, a creature lingered at his feet briefly before lashing at him again. "I'll block, you attack?" HP: 38 Quote: Mob Stats HP: 10 Auto Damage: 3 (hit or miss)

Dakota ignored the glaring. Glaring didn't actually work on the hunter unless it was like Julie and most things Julie did...worked on Dakota. and she was dead. So very dead...
Chama was rising over the voices in his head. The only words he made out from her was his name and distracted him from what was going on. Stupid ******** insanity.
"Really? I get this feeling from her she is Shy...to strangers." Dakota blinked at Marcus before clapping his hand on his shoulder.
"Fine, You don't think you deserve her? I'll go seduce her then. She got a taste of Moons after all, whats to stop her from hitting me up? Plus I'm taller, better looking and stronger then you (not true...except the taller thing)." Dakota thumbed a finger at himself and watched the hunter, "I am better, I'll take your girl Marcus...Since you seem so damn easy to assume that her feelings without a proper talk to her. Here let me assume something now, I'm going to go hit on her and you won't do s**t cause your stuck in this shell."
Dakota blinked as he realized he was getting TOO angry. <******** fantastic man." He muttered as he brought Chama down on the creature. "I love you man, again no homo, But sometimes I really feel like you need a punch to the face and not to just the gut."
He was so mad that he stabbed the creature right in the center of its foggy mass.
"Chama...Flare." and watched as Chama blazed into the creatures body. It was singed but not dead. "******** man...just die already..." He looked at the creature.

Dis was still trying, trying so very hard to keep the thoughts on fighting, off of Cass, off of the voices whispering in his head, making him doubt himself. Doubt his love. "She's not shy. You just need to talk to her and she'll do the same. She's the best woman on this whole island and I doubt think she even realizes it."
As he stabbed at the creature again, he stopped, allowing it to get him yet again. Did Dakota just- did he really? "Don't you ******** dare Dakota. And what is there to talk about? I'm a s**t hunter, she's not. She deserves better but like ******** she deserves a play boy I swear to god if you did anything to hurt her I'd-" He let out a cry of frustration. "People can't love me Dakota. Not like that. I have friends. That's all I've ever had."

Dakota just wasn't sure what they were arguing anymore. He wanted Marcus to break out of this haze, this snap of reality where he thought Cass couldn't love him.
Dakota knew he was by far the FARTHEST thing from a romantic or sappy gay a** but......When he looked at Marcus and Cass, He thought of them as a pair, of just together. He couldn't NOT see Marcus without Cass and Vice versa. It had been like that since he had woken from that gay a** sleeper pod.
"I wouldn't but your missing my point..." Dakota flipped Chama up to point at Marcus's throat. "Your missing the goddamn point you stupid son of a b***h augh."
He couldn't do anything else but to shock the hunter. And there was only one way to do that.
"I hope to god this doesn't get around but...Shut the hell up Marcus." Dakota pulled Marcus's head down and.......
DESPERATE TIMES CALLED FOR DESPERATE MEASURES.

Depressed or not, what Dakota did next was more than unexpected. It was mind blowing. Mostly as one, Marcus was not expecting it, two, it wasn't bad, and three, Dakota was a surprisingly good kisser.  So for a while, everything was okay. It was pretty good. That was until Dis reminded him- Marcus, Cass. That is not Cass.Like an emotion punch to his gut, Marcus pulled away slightly dazed.  Blinking once, twice, and then with a glazed look at the other moon hunter, "Dakota." It was that emotionless voice he had encountered when they had been forced into an embrace. "We will never speak of what just happened. You understand?"

Yes that's right! Dakota's Surprise Attack shut your ******** lame a** mouth was a success, and in a way Dakota didn't expect. Especially since Marcus like...What the ******** was he doing!??!
Okay...okay this wasn't TOO BAD ALRIGHT THIS WASN'T LIKE-This was all for the good of...What.
REALLY enjoy this whole....like...Bromance you got with Marcus but...I don't think your helping him with his problem for Cass..........>
Which brought him back to reality in a
 state.
And to end this almost like tumblr post, Dakota made wild gestures with his hands and in a loud voice said.
"Now...Now this...doesn't leave here yeah. Alright."
Dakota breathed in before grinning, "TEach you to doubt your uh...love for Cass....or whatever s**t man I think its time for us to go back now..."
Because Dakota was a little emotionally DRAINED after kissing his MOON BROTHER MARCUS OH GOD WHAT WAS HE THINKING THIS WILL LIVE INSIDE HIM FOREVER.
"Also. I win."

Then as if to drive the point home, "The use of tongue was a bit much really. And get a mint next time jesus. I don't even-" Mumbling to himself, Marcus went back to the portal.
