Maxine Collins Max walked into her new room and immediately ran to one of the bed. She sighed in content as she relaxed into her new bed, allowing her stuff to just drop beside the bed. "I wonder if I'll have a room mate," she asked herself as she glanced over at the second bed. A knock from the door prevented Max from falling asleep. She hurried herself over to the door to see if the person who knocked was her new room mate. Max excitedly opened the door, but she found no one outside. She did find a small box however and brought it inside with her. Level: 1

Maxine Collins Once inside, Max opened the box and pulled out the syringe. "This must been that Gene-X thing the letter was talking about."She placed the syringe back into the box then placed it on the table. "I'll unpack everything first before doing that," she muttered as a chilled traveled down her spine. It wasn't that Max was afraid of needles, it was the idea of having to do it herself. After getting all her stuff into order she took a step back to admire her work cause she knew that this was most likely gonna be the last time her half of the room was ever gonna look this clean. Not saying she a messy person, but Max had a tendency to be lazy when it came to cleaning. Max looked over at her desk and mentally whine. 'It's now or get off this island," she thought as she pulled out the syringe from the box. She moved her self over to her bed and took a deep breathe before carefully inserting the needled into her arm. Once all the liquid from the syringe had bee pushed into her arm, she placed the syringe on the night stand She laid on her bed for a couple of minutes just staring at the ceiling. Her face scrunched up in confusion. "Why is nothing happening? Did I do it wrong? Maybe I should go ask why it isn't wor-." Max was unable to finish her sentence because she was knocked out. Level: 1

Ignis was quite proud of herself as she walked the empty hallways of the dormitories. She promised this academy that something would burn by the end of the day and she kept the promise in full. That much was certain since she just got back from setting ablaze her previous room. She just loved causing havoc and mayhem. If she was lucky, maybe this building had a fire alarm...Oooo, no..if she was lucky, this building didn't have a fire alarm, and the fire would spread, catching people unaware and taking a few lives. That would make her day.
Eventually she got to her new room. It wasn't terribly hard to find since it was technically right next to where she came from. She had no idea on whether or not there was another person in there or she was getting her own room, the letter she obtained did not give her such details. Either way, Ignis knocked on the door 5 times. *Tap tap tap tap tap*. She hoped the latter, she definitely preferred solitude...but even if she got a room-mate, all was well. She would just play innocent, letting her guard down until the opportune moment and then BAM! She wouldn't have to worry about having the room to herself any-more. Besides, playing with prey and watching them scream in burning agony was allot more enjoyable to her rather than just sitting in her room doing nothing. You know something...she changed her mind, she would much rather have a room-mate.

Maxine Collins Max groaned at the sound of door knocks that were trying to interrupt her sleep and tried to block out the sound by covering her ears with her pillow. After the forth knock, she finally decided to get out of bed and put an end to the sound. "I'm coming. I'm coming," she cried out after the 5th knock as she literally rolled herself out of her bed. She kind of glad that the bed was close to the ground. It didn't hear as much when she fell out. As she sluggishly walked over to the door, Max rubbed her eyes to get the sleep out of them. she let out a huge yawn before slowly opening up the door. "Can I help you," she asked tiredly. Level: 1

Wish granted. Ignis couldn't help but make a mental smile. Subconsciously, she was glad that her new room-mate was a woman, she didn't know what she would do if it was a man...oh wait..yes she did..she would kill him...Honestly no different from what she was planning on doing to his girl in front of her...but she would go about it subtly.
The first thing she noticed about the girl was her hair, it was red, much like hers. It prompted a forced thought on whether her hair was a natural red like hers, or whether she was just like all the rest of the losers and dyed it. The second thing was how tired she was. She immediately yawned when she opened the door, and here eyes definitely looked like it had a rough sleep.
When she asked whether Ignis could help her or not, Ignis didn't say a word, instead, she reached into her pocket and took out the letter she found at her previous doorstep. The letter explained that Ignis was to be transferred to this room as her room-mate, so without hesitation nor explanation, Ignis outstretched her arm towards Max, and handed her the letter.

Maxine Collins Max slow took the letter from Ignis and brought it close to her face. Her eyes were still very tired so she a hard time see things. The letter was short but a about minute for Max to actually read the letter without fall asleep where she stood. After reading the letter, she handed it back to Ignis. If she was fully awake, Max would be jumping for join at having to finally meet her new room mate, but at the moment all she wanted to do was sleep. Max muffled another yawn and tiredly smiled at her new room-mate. "Come on in," she said as she moved out of Ignis's way so she could enter the room. Level: 1

Taking the letter, Ignis entered her new room. It was a quaint little place, much like the same with the room she was previously in except this room didn't have the temperature turned down to minus 200 ******** degrees. As it was the temperature was nice and normal..and bit cool for Ignis's taste but she could tolerate it. But the room basically looked like someone painted the picture of one side of the room and then copied it over to complete the other half, it was pretty much identical. Two beds graced the sides of each wall and right next to each bed was a dresser and a nightstand. A small television was farther back with the refrigerator sitting right next to it. She scanned the room once more, locating the bathroom for those times when she would take a shower. All in all, it was a nice room..shame Ignis was here to screw it up...eventually.
Ignis would had said something at this point but the girl looked so drowsy..and honestly a little sick looking that she knew she wouldn't get much out of conversation even if she did started to pretend like she was remotely interested in her. Her eyes then caught sight of a box and an empty syringe sitting by her bed....now that it explained it, this girl just injected herself with the Gene-X. She was most likely going through some of the intense side effects of the drug like Ignis went through. She almost felt for her...almost.
Walking to the empty and clean bed, Ignis set her belongings down and sat down on the mattress. She waited to see if this girl would say anything to her..or if she would fall down unconscious....she looked ready to do so at this point.

Maxine Collins After Ignis entered the room, Max closed the door behind her and leaned against the door. She felt like her brain was pounding against her skull. To keep herself from cry out in pain, she bit the insides of her cheek then pushed herself off of the door and force herself to walk over to her bed. Her movement was a little more sluggish than it was when she walked over to the door a little while ago. "I'm sorry you have to see me like this the first time we meet." Max carefully sat herself on her bed facing Ignis. Even though she was really tired, she would not let herself fall asleep until she at least learned her room-mates name. Her name was stated on the letter but Max didn't really catch it; she only managed to comprehend the words new and their room number. "I'm Max by the way. What's your name?" Level: 1

Ignis would play it innocent for now, she could take her out easily if she so desired...but what fun was beating a game if you did so by exploiting the situation. No, she wanted to have fun with this, and for all that Max would know, Ignis would be a shy girl who didn't talk much, who hated boys, and would always look up to her. As of now, the game began, and Ignis put on her best performance. She was quite the good actor, so Max would be none the wiser.
Responding to her question, Ignis purposely ignored eye contact, looking down at her hands twiddling her thumbs. "Ignis", she softly responded. Her entire demeanour screamed at everyone observing her that she had a shy personality. It was a farce of course, but a farce that had worked well over the ages. She had found that quiet and shy personalities were some of the best of ways to get people to drop their guard. Being able to imitate false innocence was a deadly weapon when used right, and over the years, Ignis had grown to be a master at it.

Maxine Collins Max was happy that Max finally got learn her room-mates name, but was little turned off by her quietness. One thing that Max really hated was silence, that why she usually walks around with music playing in her ears. She always seem to get nervous when everything around her was quite. There was also the say that it was the quiet ones you have to look out for cause they are usually hiding something. She found that saying to true during some of her matches in the past. Back when she participated in the fight back home, fighter tend to taunt each other to either to make their opponent mess up or scare them. When you were quite though it usually mean you were plotting something and makes you a little more dangerous. When Max first started out formally participating, she used to act all shy and quite like Ignis to trick her opponents and gain easy wins. Unfortunately for her once she started to get a little more famous, she couldn't use that trick anymore. In her tired state, couldn't really tell if Ignis was fake or this was actually how she was. She kind of hoped that it was a that 'first-meeting-shyness' she was seeing cause living with her might be a little awkward. Max want to try having a good, non-awkward, first room-mate, that wasn't blood related, experience. Level: 1

Ignis was tired...and was in no mood to partake in conversation. Looking at the time, it was indeed getting late and Ignis needed sleep...not fake sleep that the Gene-X granted. She was still indeed recovering from its strong side effects. So hoping to end this meeting, and resume it tomorrow, Ignis said in his usual soft tone.."Uh..Max..I am pretty tired..y.you look tired to..lets get better acquainted in the morning okay"?
Before slipping under her sheets, Ignis slipped Max a quick and friendly smile. Afterwards, she turned on her stomach, twisting her neck to where it would face the wall, and closed her eyes. It wasn't long before she was able to get to sleep. She dreamed of what kind of havoc she could cause the next day.

Maxine Collins Max was so glad that Ignis wanted to hold off on the introduction. She didn't know how much longer she could keep herself up. Like Ignis, she settle herself in the sheets of her bed facing the ceiling . Once her head hit her pillow, she was out like a light. Level: 1

Waking up the next morning refreshed and ready to go, Ignis sat up like Frankenstein's monster, her eyes droopy. Stretching her arms straight towards the ceiling, she yawned. Looking over to her new room-mate, Max was still sleeping. She noticed nothing really happened overnight, she figured that the room she set ablaze would at least set off a fire alarm or spread...but she guessed she didn't do a thorough enough job in order to get her hoped results. All well that ends well she supposes, at the very least, her previous room-mate would come back to a burned and flooded room.
Getting up, she walked into the bathroom and changed her clothes. She realized that she slept in her yesterday clothes unintentionally, she did have pyjamas after all. It was fine though, she had another pair of clothes which she promptly changed into. So after brushing her teeth and hair, she walked out the bathroom contemplating what to do this fine day. She knew one of the things she needed to do most was train her abiliites, which she promptly failed to do yesterday..but first she was quite hungry, and was quite prepared to head off to the school cafeteria.

Maxine Collins A couple minutes after Ignis had awakened, Max woke up, but she didn't feel as refreshed as her room-mate. She actually looked much worse than she did last night. She was as white as a sheet of paper and shivering, despite the warm temperature of the room. The second she awoke, Max dashed towards the bathroom to empty the content of her stomach, which was mostly just bile since she didn't eat much anyway. A pained moaned escaped through the poor girl lips as she laid against the toilet bowl. Max hated to be sick and in her mind she was mentally killing the creators of the Gene-X. Level: 1
