I'm a young man
I'm 15
years old. This is my Fifth
year here at Hogwarts.The house I'm in is Ravenclaw
People say that, in a nutshell, I'm the best young man you will ever meet. So true. I have the skill of being able to tell people exactly what they want to hear and being awfully convincing at it. Not to mention that I have excessive amounts of charm. I seem to make a good impression with adults and peers alike, especially the female variety. Though the past few years I’ve been commanded to rein in my personality. It sucks, but I’ve been doing it for my cousin. I don’t want to put Hildy in a rough situation. But as soon as she is ready to break out, I’m all for it.
My background story is pretty awful. My mother was young, pregnant and alone. Her family was there for her, but looking down their noses at her for having a baby out of wedlock. She died during childbirth and my grandparents didn’t want to raise a b*****d child. My aunt wanted to raise me, but my grandparents forbade that because they had disowned her (these people are quick to disown you), so my uncle took me. He was just starting his career and got offered a good position in America, so we moved to New York when I was one. That is really where I call home, no matter what they say. He had an undercover job for the Ministry so we lived fully integrated in Muggle society, but took frequent trips to wizarding locations to be around people like us.
My grandparents missed my uncle terribly and they accepted me because of him. So when I was nine they begged him to come home. It took a while, but after a lot of discussion, I was back in Britain before my tenth birthday. My grandparents dote on me, but I wish that they could make up with my aunt so I could see my cousins and not be so insanely bored when I’m at home. I started Hogwarts at the usual age and was sorted into Ravenclaw, which made my uncle happy since that was his house as well and my mother’s. I get on well with my classmates, but I get on with everyone. At least I used to.
Now my uncle is gone. It pisses me off. He is wanted in relation to various dark wizard activity. He isn’t a bad guy. But I’m afraid that if he ever resurfaces, he will be arrested. So I don’t know if I will ever see him again.
I enjoy young women, pizza (AMERICAN pizza, they just can’t get it right in this country), American sports (baseball, football, basketball, hockey)as well as Quidditch, using words to bend my way around the rules, any sort of logic puzzle, spending time with my uncle (he is a really great guy and even though I have never called him dad, that is how I feel about him)
I despise History of Magic, prunes, the Weird Sisters, the long train ride to and from Hogwarts, talking about my personal past.
