Welcome to the Unofficial Matope Art Thread!
Since this guild is all about art, it's appropriate to have a thread about it for all of the creations by the guild members! Since everyone's writing is currently on display in the form of roleplays and journals, it would be awesome to have a place for people to post their other Matope creations that may not otherwise have a place to be shown off.

GET OUT OF MY THREADThat's totally cool! Any and all Matope-related content is welcome here, including (but certainly not limited to): drawings, sculpture, textile work, confectionery, collage, music, spacecraft, etc. Anything that you've made that is somehow related to Matope belongs here so we can all admire it.
My art/sewing/space program sucks and nobody will like it!
Oh PFFFFFFFFFFFTTT! The users here are a friendly and non-judgmental bunch. We'd love to see what you've made. smile You may even collect some helpful art tips while you are here!
Please try to use a semi-permanent host for your artwork.
In 6 months when a prospective newbie finds this thread, it would be bad to have it filled with a bunch of broken pictures.
If you have any helpful suggestions or links for the OP (this post), let me know and I'll be happy to add them in. Specifically I'm looking for feedback on helpful photo galleries showing ungulates, skeletons, and skulls to help all of us out with drawing kin. Galleries of environments such as deserts and swamps would also be really great. Also art programs, etc. I want to know what would be most helpful for you.

I'm gonna get this thing started by posting a couple of my own pictures~  These two Acha eggs were done for Amizade. Inside are Moonstruck and Sun-kissed. HEY?! WHAT'S UP?!  This is for a kimeti doe that I don't have yet, kind of a concept thing. I'm still hammering out her design. The idea of having a giant wasp as a pet is so cool to me~ They're cute when they're not trying to kill you! Honest! Both pictures were done in Easy Paint Tool SAI. HEY EVERYONE ELSE I WANNA SEE YOU CONTRIBUTING!!! mrgreen

some old quickie headshots i did a couple months ago. sorry they're so bad but it's the only matope art i have, i only spent like 10 minutes on each of them. ;; sorry i will do better on future matope art.

Incidentally, since you've got that list of resources up there! Here is a link to a newer version of Gimp for Windows. I've been trying it out, and it's not bad, particularly the much expanded tablet capabilities! :3

Tiarana Chrysanthemum Quietude and uh... err someone help me out here, who is this dude??? That is Cloud Walker, who used to belong to Dreamsinner before she left Gaia and he was rehomed to phoenix kiss. Gin misses him desperately (I'm trying to convince her to come back) and still has a print out of that pic you did for us, Tia
