The Ideas...
Cal sat at the base of the tree, reaching out and tugging on the grass with his small fingers. The grass was already starting to wilt; It was Fall.
Cal was just about to enter College, when this deadly sickness came out of no where. He became bedridden and stuck at the hospital. His heart was failing. He was absolutely alone. White sheets, white walls, and even white blankets... The hospital just felt empty. The doctor did not know what was wrong..but Cal was slowly dieing.
The only colorful thing that starts off in his room, is this flower.. These yellow dandelions given to him by his mother. Although this is the case, he is indifferent to them. She is rich, works for a huge company and is never there for him. He was raised by maids all of his life. His dad had died long ago.

During the times he is let out to get fresh air, he always makes his way to this small tree. He begins watering and taking care of it. It slowly starts to grow, being showered with his kindness. He then starts seeing this manifestation of a girl, every time he visits the tree. Is she a nymph? A girl? Who knows. The strange thing is that.. only he can see her.
If he dies... will the tree and girl also? What is her connection to this tree? Is he just yearning for some form of love?
