Gender: Masculine
Personalities: The Hunter With lips that are almost always pulled down into a frown, deeply furrowed brows and a penchant for silence, it's rather evident that Kostya
thinks himself to be a rather serious young man. In all honesty, it's mostly apathy and undirected weariness, teenage angst at its finest, with a leather jacket and everything.
When directed to a task, Kostya reluctantly pursues it like a tired but obedient dog, completing it but without any eagerness. That's not to say he does a poor job; no, when presented with a situation, Kostya analyses the situation and complete it in the most efficient way he can manage...he just does it without any vigour.
Kostya no
motivation, no need to be exceptional at anything, and in the possession of no hopes and no dreams. He is an average guy with average problems and an average life. He served the necessary year of service in Russia, and spends his time split between the pub and his job at the library.
With no intentions of ever being extraordinary and no designs to serve a greater purpose, there is little Konstantin really looks forward to besides his next paycheck. Sometimes he works on music of the electronic variety, but he has not really found a passion in it.
Since the Russian opted out of university, it made him eligible for conscription. And, with his luck...he drew the short straw and got picked. He served his year without complaints, finding a sort of
peace at the fact that his everyday life was being ruled by something beyond him. Being told what to do, where to go, how to act and dress-- it was less he had to think about.
All he had to do was point and shoot.
In theory, anyway. Despite being trained to kill, a year in the Russian military was not truly long enough for Kostya to see any hardship. He did learn one thing that has stuck with him: the value of patience.
Endure, and you will win out. The darkness that he saw in his youth did not trouble him too much. As shadowed as the creatures were, as insistent as the howls were at the window, as forceful the claws were at his door--They were inconvenient dreams and flashbacks, nothing more.
He could out last.
When recruited, the only reason Konstantin went along with it was this: who honestly tells a girl clad in whites and rainbows no, as she brightens up the world of monochrome grey with her smile and her promise of freedom from a regime and calling him
Viktor or
Ivan.
No matter how many times he corrects her.
He can't find it in himself to say no. Not when he's so tired of being tired.
The Weapon Syntax Error is a simple creature, constructed of data and code and a bit of wire and little else, excepting his rather bubbly personality. They communicate primarily through projecting images of wireframes in different colours and shapes, pressing emotions with them.
They are also fond of communicating via emotes.
When the elemental has words for Kostya, they are arranged carefully, each one selected with precision unknown by brain surgeons.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? Russian regime can be rather oppressive. Tyumen is large, but that does not make the dampening air of political propaganda any easier to bear. Plus, the idea of being in a private military-- the ability to make major decisions being stripped away from him-- is honestly appealing to Kostya.
He'd rather be a weapon than a person.
It wouldn't require thought. Orders-- protect, serve, endure-- he could deal with those.
Weapon Ability Voxel Blip - Swift Strikes - A series of bright shots are fired from the arm cannon, in various states of being charged.
