The little shop was nothing like what Cordelia had expected. When she had seen an ad on the street she had assumed it was a little hole in the wall with cheap clothes, but upon further inspection she'd found it to be a pleasant little shop. The racks were a mosaic of color, dotted here and there with various furs. It was all she could have asked for in a store.
Solange, however, was less than pleased.
The young tomboy stood by the door, resting her spine against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest. In that pose she looked more like a boy than ever, which seriously annoyed Cordelia.
"Hey, Snips, what about this? It's cute, right?" She held up a chiffon dress, and while red in color, the flowers did nothing to gain favor with the houndour who merely growled at it. "Okay, then what about this? Or this?"
"Can we just go?" Solange mumbled, turning her head to the side.

There was quite a few in this group, a mother who was being forced to buy clothes for a kid she never expected to have and her daughter and a new pokemon she had manage to bring home. Or course...unlike the Buneary boy Blake, Habika was still a pokemon and the mother hoped it would stay this way.
They had already entered the small store, trying to convince the buneary boy Blake that he needed new clothes after his last adventure in the forest cause a huge rip in the pant and shirt he had worn. Blake was less than thrilled with this though Habika was so attatched to Blake he couldn't easily sneak away.
"Oooooo Blllaaaake this would look cute!" Trinity coo'd pulling out a sailor suit to show off to the boy. Trinity was unfortunately both pokemon's 'trainer' of sorts, and was too young to fully understand that a young boy/pokemon did NOT want to pay dress up.
"No!" He replied repulsed by the idea of having to wear such a thing, as well remove the pink blob clinging to his leg quite happily.
"Habika, let go already!" he desperately asked the cute little Happiny pokemon.
"Happin! Happi happiny!" She replied trasnlating something close to 'No, you friend now!'.
To this the buneary boy sighed and looking around noticed another 'boy' pokemon being forced to clothing shop. Ack. Well he felt better having the other one there...but at the same time he didn't want to be caught dead in here. Darting forward he managed to dislodge Habika from his leg and hide in amoungst the clothing racks.
Confused Habika looked around trying to spot her friend, only to notice...ANOTHER FRIEND! Happy and joyful she tottered over to the other pokemon child and instantly glomed onto his/her leg.
"Happy! Happiny Happy happy!" (ANother Friend!)

Solange rolled her eyes at Cordelia and managed to look elsewhere while her trainer prattled on about the benefits of cotton. It was only natural that her eyes would be drawn to the little pink Pokemon, but the scene in which she was placed made the houndour snicker. Served that boy right. He looked as miserable as she did, but at least she didn't have a-
Where'd he go? Solange's ears perked up as her 'fur' stood on end. Her head made quick, jerky movements while she tried to look for him, ever the alert canine, until she realized that something had attached itself to her.
"Aww, how cute!" Cordelia chimed. Much to Solange's chagrin her trainer whipped out her camera and took a snapshot of the moment.
"I'm being attacked!" She whined. Solange attempted to pry the Happiny from her leg. "Let go!"

Attacked? Happiny looked up at the houndour smiling brightly she then released the pokemon girl and took a small step backwards. Waving her little arms in the air she pree'd and looked so redicously cute, she liked her new friend so much!
Reaching into her small pouch she took out her smooth round white rock and showed it to the girl. After al friends showed each other their favorite things! Once done showing her she popped it back into the poud and then waddeled to and fro before reaching for the girls hand and pointing to where Blake was hiding.
After all she wanted her new friend to meat Blake. Blake was her BESTEST friend.
"Happi happiny happy!" (Come meet other friend!) She cried out happily waiting for the girl to accept her hand.

Her left eyebrow started to twitch intensely under the cute onslaught. How was she supposed to say no when she was being so...adorable! Solange backed up, standing on the tip of her toes to removed herself from the situation.
"Go on, Snips. It's not like you were really shopping anyway." Cordelia teased, giving the houndour a "helpful" shove.
Solange shook her head furiously, but one look at Cordelia's serious face was enough to get the growling houndour to take the Happiny's hand. "Whatever," she grumbled. Rock or no rock, the little pokemon was adorable, and without Cordelia's nudge she would have had a hard time fighting it.
"Why is your other friend hiding?"
I mean, she understood why he'd ran away to begin with, but why was he hiding from her?

The little Happiny wasn't really sure why Blake was hiding, perhaps it was just a game? She loved games so that must be it! he was her best friend after all so he must know that she loved playing games! But he didn't pick a very good hiding spot if that was the case...she knew where he was already!
"Happy! Hpin happiny happ pin." (Blake likes to play) She commented with a giggle she then led the girl over to the rack of clothes Blake was currently hiding behind.
Since the pokemon was so short she just waltzed right under the shirts to then spook Blake out from his hiding place. He jumped out so quickly he didn't notice the girl before him until he crashed into her.
Giving a small peep of a sound which he promptly covered his mouth. OH no...he uttered a cute sound again. Ears drooping he looked up to the one he ran into.
"Darn it Habika..." he grumbeled under his breath.

Solange highly doubted that Blake liked to play. After all, he'd ran away from the little pink pokemon, and to her, it had looked alot like an escape plan. She stopped some way away from the clothing rack, content to watch the events play out until he came running out at her. Solange gave a bark of surprise before she found herself tumbling onto her back onto the shop floor with Blake ontop of her.
At first, she was too shocked to do anything; the surprise of Blake's bail out and his little sound had stunned her into submission. Though, as she started to realize that another kid was ontop of her, a boy at that!, her cheeks began to darken. "It's not her fault you ran out like that." Solange pointed out gruffly, nudging for him to move off. "Besides, Blake, she said you like to play." She teased, tossing him a pointed look. "Right?" She turned to the little Happiny.

THe little Happiny laughed and nodded her head enthusiasitically as she hopped back out from under the clothes Blake had been hiding in. Yes Blake just loved to play! And apparantly Blake was already playing with the new girl!
Clapping her little hands together she looked to be the happiest little pokemon in the world! "Happy! Happiny!" She coo'd nodding her head to Solange's comment.
Blake being pushed off only slumped on the ground a moment before he was quickly on his feet. What in the world was Habika getting him into? Playing? He was trying to escape trying clothes on. He HATED trying on clothes.
"I was not playing, I was trying to escape." He hissed in a low tone.

"Oh." Solange groaned in sympathy. "That seems more likely - you're not as happy about being here as she is." While she nodded her head to the Happiny, she started to sit up. When she was on her feet she turned to the....strange boy and gave him an odd look.
"How about this one?" Solange shuddered and turned around to see her trainer holding up a horrifically pink dress. Apparently the woman got the hint because she placed it back on the rack like it was on fire.
Slowly, she turned back to the two. "I hate this place. I don't see what's wrong with the clothes I already have," she grumbled.

Blake nodded his head also in agreement with the fact that pink dress didn't suit the girl at all. Wait not that wasn't what he was just thinking. He wanted to get out of here...and the girl he had run into sounded to be in the same mind set.
Habika on the other hand....well she seemed happy no matter what they did. Dancing from foot to foot she then did a graceful little step towards Solange before jumping up and down for no reason.
Blake leaned towards Solange, "Did you want to bolt outta here?" He asked not wanting to leave the girl behind to have to suffer more horrible pink outfit suggestions.

Solange twisted her head to the side, watching the little Happiny with a calculated stare. No one could be that happy, she was sure of it. So what was wrong with her? Was it a mental condition or something far worse?
She leaned back towards Blake and nodded. "Did you have to ask?" Her sharp canine ears perked up, waiting for a unwanted prescences to move on to the other end of the store before speaking. "There's a back door - I saw it when I first got here. If we create a diversion in the front of the store we can slip out the back."

Blake was listening intently to what Solange was suggesting a back door? That sounded like the perfect idea! THough...there was Habika to consider.
The buneary boy glanced to where the little Happiny was standing looking more than overjoyed to be in the presence of these two. Habika was going to be a problem, after all she ...just would slow them down. Should he pick her up? Or just leave her there?
"On three let's run for it," He whispered to Solange as she leaned over to pick up Habika.

Solange took a deep breath to steady her nerves. The break was going to be harder now that Habika was along for the ride, but so long as she stayed quiet it would all go according to plan. They just needed a diversion.
The Houndour looked around, waiting until all the humans were in a generalized center spot before picking up a shoe and tossing it at a stack of purses. Before she could even count, Solange hurriedly whispered, "GO!"
She took off for the door, navigating around racks of clothing and shoes. She could see the door, but before just running out she turned to make sure Blake and Habika were close. Therew as no way she could leave without them.
