 Anansi was crouched down and slowly creeping in the grass, a typical activity for the young girl. She was stalking the small creatures hiding there, she'd seen her mami hunt before and she figured that she could do it too. Although, now Anansi was finding out just how not simple hunting was.
It was easy enough to pounce on and terrorize the small insects, but the larger rodents and birds were much more difficult to catch. She spotted another rat scurrying across the dirt and she began to sneak up on it. Once she thought she was close enough, Anansi leapt into the air towards the small animal and lands with a soft thud, kicking up dust in the process. When she opened her eyes, she slowly lifted up to see the unfortunate rodent, only, when she looked...she saw nothing.
Huffing in disappointment, she decided that she would try hunting again some other time. For now, she would find something else to bother, or someone. Trotting through the grass, Anansi began her new quest for something to entertain herself.

Tali was watching the young female from the bushes. She was pretty sure that the lioness couldn't even see the older lioness watch her hunting attempts. Tali's mind couldn't help but to melt a little. She loved cubs. She didn't have any of her own and at the moment it didn't look like she was heading in the direction of having any cubs. That was at the moment anyway. She could be crazy but she wasn't really that sure. Either way she loved cubs. She really loved cubs and she was more than willing to go and possibly make the cub's day that was for sure.
She turned toward the side and saw the mouse scampering away. She was pretty sure that the little paws of the lioness couldn't take her too far away too quickly. Tali quickly pushed her way through the bushes looking for the rat that the lioness was trying to get. Tali's longer legs took her where she needed to go much quicker and she was pretty good at hunting. She missed the Rat the first pounce but she reached her paws out far and tried to catch the creature under them. Reaching as far as she could go. Her paws scattering trying to reach the creature before it got away. The got it caught under her paw and she grinned scooping it up in her mouth. A grin was on her mouth it was dead from the pressure of her paw.
She didn't talk much but if she needed to she was going to tell the cub that the cub had killed it. She didn't like taking but she knew that she could talk to the younger cub that was for sure. She trotted up behind the little lioness before moving her way quickly in front of the young cub and then placed the rat down at the little one's paws. She sat down and grinned ear to ear.

Anansi was staring up at the sky trying to think of something interesting that she could get herself into. The clouds were moving slowly across the sky, the day languidly progressing along. Her ears flicked as she heard a sound however, and she turned to see what it was. Standing, she trotted toward the bushes where the sound was coming from when an adult lioness emerged. A wide grin spread across her face and her green eyes sparkled when the lioness dropped the very rodent that she had been 'hunting' before her. Looking at the rat, Anansi poked at it with her paws until she was convinced that she had in fact killed it.
"Thank you for bringing me my rat!," she said pleasantly to the lioness, "My name is Anansi." In a pride where all the adult members were female, and your mother was the queen, there wasn't much danger that you could come across every day. Besides, she was trying to emulate how her mother seemed to be naturally good at socializing with everyone. As Hippolyta's daughter, Anansi felt that she should be at least somewhat like her mother and big sisters. She figured that getting to know everyone in the pride was a good start. Anansi already thought of every lioness there as a fellow sister and knew the ones that talked to her mother and mami the most. Anansi had a good understanding of the workings of the pride and she loved to hear all of the stories about it that she could.

The lioness turned toward the little lioness with a bright smile on her face. She wasn't that sure of who the cub was, not even by her name, but Tali did think that she looked a little familiar. She was glad to know that she at least looked familiar but she was curious of who she was. She wasn't going to ask though, Tali didn't talk much, but she was okay with playing with her for now, talking a little would be fine. Tali sat back on her haunches and then lifted a paw and motioned toward herself. "Tali." She stated simply in return, that was her simple way of introducing herself. She had no reason to use her full name with the cub.
She paused and then flicked her hair out of her eyes before looking up as she thought. She was trying to figure out what she was going to do with the cub, she couldn't just leave after catching the rat for her. "Good hunter." She giggled to the cub, her voice was soft and almost too quiet to hear, but it was indeed hear-able.
