It took almost an hour for the Reaper to start feeling better, and by the end she was starting to stew on how the ghost ghoul had gotten herself in trouble, and that had resulted in Mitzi getting bitten by those damn plants again. She would have felt unwell, but still been able to handle it, if not for that. So when she finally felt the plants' effects fade, she stood up, not waiting for Reiko.
She looked around for where the "tunnel" went, and was dismayed to find that in her disoriented state, she had in fact missed the doorway out. She seemed to have gotten them into some sort of storage closet, but that meant they'd have to brave the room of crops again in order to get back to the rest of the settlement.
"Reiko, I'm heading back," she said, just a tad curtly, as she went back into room. Now the question was, how would she be getting out of here without any more crazy escapades?

Reiko let out a soft groan of annoyance. She was no longer either dizzy or tiny, so she felt she could risk another run through those ridiculous plants. so she followed Mitzi out, looking distinctly unpleased with herself. She had intended to help her friend and had only ended up making the situation worse. Stupid, stupid, stupid!
She paused and turned when she heard a Clansmember call out a warning, but apparently in the process she did exactly what she was being warned against, as one of her wise sleeves swept a small bottle off and caused it to smash onto the floor. "Oh, I am so sorry-" she began, but then she was filled with a bubbling, blooming happiness. Everything was going to be fine. She skipped through the row of plants towards the exit.

Mitzi managed to spot a set of plants that weren't moving, and looked distinctly less hostile than the rest. She decided that those were probably the safest to be near, so that would be the way she took to get out of the room.
As she approached them, she realized that they actually smelled pretty nice. Could the Famine horsemen actually have something relatively innocuous here in this chamber of horrors? She decided to take a quick sniff, and was pleasantly surprised. No face-full of sleep dust, no drunk feeling, no bites.
Except when she looked up again, all the horsemen in the room were pointing and snickering. She saw something glint in one of the pots, and as she reached out to grab it, she found out why.
She had turned bright pink. At least it matched the clothes she had brought?
With a grown she pocketed (cleavage'd?) the token she had found, and she started back on the way to the door, when she spotted a certain ghost ghoul frolicking in the flowers.
There was no way this wasn't going to end in trouble. With a groan, she started looking for a relatively safe route by which to extricate Reiko.

Reiko twirled, humming cheerily, and spotted a particularly pretty flower. She whistled and leaned in to take a closer look, because clearly this happy juice was affecting her brain and causing her to forget how dangerous these plants were. It spat juice in her face, and suddenly she was very, very drowsy.
And yet still insanely cheerful.
"Mitzi~" She waved to the Reaper lazily, and started to shuffle over, no longer really having the energy to frolic. "Today is wonderful, isn't it~? Though I'm a bit sleepy...We should probably leave~"

Mitzi somehow managed to get to Reiko without getting bitten or sprayed or anything else, and she grabbed the ghost ghoul to finish dragging her to the exit. "What is wrong with you?" she snapped. "This makes twice just now that I've had to save you!" In her hurry, though, she bumped up against a table, and several vials smashed to the floor.
And then the Reaper started to also feel light-headed and giddy. Oh no. Not now. They were getting out of here. As the onryo behind her started trying to lay down in the "pretty flowers", Mitzi somehow managed to keep her head long enough to make it out into the actual hall this time.
At which point it suddenly all became very funny. She started giggling, and ended up leaning over trying to breathe as she couldn't stop. Because clearly this was all hilarious?

"Mitzi, why are you so upset? Today is so lovely, everything is wonderful~" Reiko giggled. The Reaper's words would cut later, once whatever had her so giddy wore off, but for now she allowed herself to be pulled out, since she was too tired to resist. What a strange combination, extreme giddiness and sleepiness at the same time...
Once they got out, she ended up giggling right along with Mitzi, because Mitzi was pink and the world was beautiful and it was all so hilarious.
