Yin desperately needed to relax. After dancing with Ulmuka he had come to realize that he had nothing to do, and nothing to do meant time to think. And he certainly was not going to head to bed early, not when sleeping caused most of his current problems. So instead, when he was by the tea ceremony rooms and saw a certain fire demoness walking nearby he could not help but approach. "Miss Danny! Please excuse me for calling out to you, I was wondering if you may like to accompany me to the tea ceremony rooms? I could very much use a cup of tea right now."The Tea and Ceremony Rooms The Tea Ceremony Rooms are a series of ornately decorated rooms that make up one of the larger floating water pavilions. Upon walking inside, you realize the structure actually has a center courtyard, featuring a clean zen garden with an open roof. Several of the rooms are occupied, though even in the empty rooms, there is a warm kettle of tea, and what look like a variety of simple snacks lying on the tables. OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS: - When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Please do not MAKE more than 3 prps/orps (though you can join as many as invited) until you have finished them all (marked as FIN) Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly. 1-20: Upon arriving in the room, you notice one of the Clans attendants giving you a dirty look, pointing to your feet. It looks like you forgot to wear designated slippers, as there is still a pile of them in the entrance. Whoops, talk about awkward for some of you... (see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here! 21- 40: You pour yourself a cup of tea, and notice after a bit that the tea pot seems to be oddly enchanted. In fact, it just continuously refills itself. Magical! 41- 60: You talk a little too loud, earning some glares from the attendant just standing there, outside the room you are occupying. Whoops. 61- 80: You try one of their little snacks, it tastes nice, but there's a strange texture to it that you just can't place. It tastes a little sweet perhaps...? 81- 100: Because the walls are so thin, you hear other Clans members debating over something in another room. They are speaking in another language, but they definitely are angry about something. You hear their attendant give them a cough, and they quieten again, whispering in loud, heated, angry tones

Walking, walking, walking. She swore she'd walked all over this place about eighty times over, and still hadn't seen anything. There was yet another teahouse- and she was going to ignore that one too. Tea and her just did not mix.
A green blobbed appeared on her line of vision, and she soon recognized it as Yin. He was using rather long drawn out requests, but she understood the gist of it.
Initially Danny said, "Uhhhh tea? No sorry I gotta ... " but those mantis eyes.
Those mantis eyes.
"Uhhh. Nevermind it can wait. Sure let's go get ... tea." Blechhhh.

Yin looked slightly crestfallen as it became clear that she did not want to go, but as soon as she agreed he perked up ever so slightly. "I am sorry if you do not like tea Miss Danny. I believe that there are other things to consume. Please follow me, it is just over here."
As he lead the way to the room he could hear a heated argument taking place on the other side of a very thin wall, in a language he could not quite understand. It was distracting, but when he actually turned his head toward the wall an attendant saw him and cough, and the argument died down. Tea. They were going for tea. "How are you enjoying the Isle of Conquest Miss Danny?"

Danny sat down awkwardly at a table with Yin and said, "No its not that I don't like tea ... I mean like I can't tea." That made sense to everyone, right? Of course.
As a few horsemen milled about, Danny watched idly as Yin spoke. With his question, she answered it like she answered it to everyone else. "Augh terrible! Everything's so fancy and-" Her arms waved wide, and the teapot and teacup went tumbling onto the ground, spilling everywhere, including in the teacup.
That was how Danny poured a cup of tea y'all.
She cursed audibly and stood up, her wings flapping awkwardly like they would actually take off in flight. Every horsemen in the teahouse was staring at them now as an angry servant came and cleaned up the mess. This is why we can't have nice things Yin.

She could not like tea? Yin, right then and there, decided that it was probably some sort of custom that he did not understand. Which meant that he would not bother trying to understand. But hearing that she did not like the isle was a bit upsetting.
Suddenly she knocked over the teapot and the contents went everywhere. She stood up, obviously upset, and someone came to clean up the mess. To try to maintain some semblance of calm Yin poured his own cup and sipped at it appreciatively.
"I supposed it is, but it is...similiar to where I grew up, so I am somewhat accustomed to this. Would you like to try something?" He pushed the tray of snacks closer to her. Not meat? Not eating.

Danny sighed and pointedly took a seat on the same side of the table as Yin, no longer sitting across from him next to the tea. As he slid the teacakes closer to her, she frowned a little. She wished she could've burnt them up in fire seconds, but all she had was her tail and that would just take too long, and get a bunch of angry looks anyways.
With a sigh, she put one in her mouth and chewed like it was a vegetable for Yin. It was bearable, but absolutely disgusting tasting. She did need to eat though.
"Thanks ... its uh ... good," she gritted through her teeth. Her ability to uphold decorum was fading. Her cheek slid on the table and she threw her arms over the wood, gaining quite a few more looks. "Ugh Yin I hate this place."

Yin frowned in concern, looking rather unhappy as things were. "I am sorry that you feel that way Miss Danny," he said, sipping his tea and trying not to think too much about the look on her face when she had eaten the small cake.
"Though," he said in a quiet voice, "if I am to be honest I do not desire to be here. It...reminds me too much of the clan that I am from." Hesitantly he used his free hand reach out, grateful that she had something covering her, and lightly patted her on the shoulder. There there.

Danny looked at the hand that extended over her shoulder with an oddly loving gaze a look of annoyance and brushed it off. She was already miserable- she wanted to wallow in it a little.
She pulled her poncho closer to her and said, "Hey you never talk about your clan or anything. What's it like?"
EMOTIONAL BOMB AHOYYYYYYYYYY.

While Danny might have been a bit butthurt hey we have something in common trolololol Yin was far too busy pondering why today she had a poncho on, and thinking that it looked rather nice on her.
Then she was asking him a horrible question. Horrible. He did not want to talk about them. Not right now. Maybe if he just gave her enough of an answer she would stop asking? "It is like this." If she did not like this she would not want to hear anything else...right?
But no, that was a cop out. With a sigh he began talking just a bit more. "By this I mean the manners. All of the bowing. No one at Amityville seems to care about manners and etiquette, but where I come from all of this is normal. And, well, you grow accustomed to it. And it is not bad really, and there is no one that just runs around cursing for no reason. And the clothing here is very nice, most of the quality is what ghouls would have with the clan. The designs for clothing and buildings are very beautiful. Much of the decoration here is much more elaborate, but sometimes simple is nice. Not having to deal with technology is nice. The serenity here reminds me of some of the days at home, when we would have half-days of training in order to go to a festival or for some special occasion." He almost sounded wistful as he paused to take another drink of his tea.

Danny listened extremely attentively.
Really.
Okay so maybe she got distracted part way through and started staring at one of the horsewoman servants who kept refilling this tiny tray on the far side the of the room, only to find people had taken more food than she'd expected, and so she had to run back and get more food- BUT she was trying!
She heard something about ghouls and something about homes. She realized Yin had finished talking and shook her head, looking back at him. He was waiting for some sort of answer maybe? "Huh? Oh yeah uh. That's great Yin!"
Danny idly grabbed another cake off the tray and reluctantly put it in her mouth. "What else?" Anyone else would've stopped Yin's line of thinking from his tone, but not Danny. She was busy wondering if the servant ghoul would ever figure out she needed more than she brought.

Yin had been ready to shut up. He did not talk about the Clan much, he really had not told anyone really anything excepting Alexander. And he really needed to stop talking.
But Miss Danny was asking him for more information, and he really had not that that she would care. But really, he had not told her anything important had he? He could probably talk a bit more. "Well, there is a pavilion here that is surrounded by lotus blossoms. The blooms remind me of a shrine back home. And the class that we have been taking? I never had to make ink before, but the brushes and the style of the artwork are very much like what I grew up. And some places even had paper walls like they do here, and that is not something I have seen since I cam to Amityville."
If he had been more observant he might have noticed that the ghoul Miss Danny seemed enraptured by had a very...curvy figure. Even in those garments.

Well excuse her for looking, but that servant ghoul had a very nice a**. Danny was very openly appreciative of the Halloween body. If she wasn't, she wouldn't prance around in lingerie, okay?
"Paper walls? I've never seen a paper wall," she said, flicking her tail for emphasis. There was a reason she'd never seen any after all.
She thought for a moment then said, "Well do you miss home?" Danny thought he should. She missed home every once in a while- it was only natural to, right? Amityville was where her heart was, but nothing was like Rosalie's home-charred steak.

Yin opened his mouth.
And nothing came out. It should have been an immediate and resounding "no!" but instead he was was faltering.
Realizing he was gaping a bit he closed his mouth and then tried again. "I may miss some parts of it, like my instructor, but I should not go back." Not would not. Should not.
It was certainly time to change the subject. "Do you miss home Miss Danny?"

Danny stuck another cookie in her mouth. This was definitely much better than the cakes- much dryer, less squishy. She liked it somewhat, but the texture was odd. It wasn't like a normal crunchy good. Maybe too sweet?
She set the half-eaten cookie down on a plate and looking at Yin with an eyebrow cocked. "Me?"
Hmm. Did she miss home? "Yeah, I guess so," she mumbled, "Not really my ... Well I miss the place. And Rosalie." She didn't bother to explain who Rosalie was, because in Danny's mind, Yin clearly knew exactly who she was talking about without explaining anything. Clearly.
"Not really I guess. I want to visit sometimes, but I think I'd miss everyone too much, y'know?" she said, putting her head back on her arm.
