Name: Megan Gwynne
Alias: Pixie
Nick Names: Pix
Alliance: Hero
Age: 16
Height: 5'3
Weight: 115lb
Physical Characteristics: Insect wings, Black eyes, Pink hair.
Personality: Megan Carolina Gwynn was brought up into a kind family-- those traits rubbed off on her. She's nice, but definitely quirky. At times she finds herself completely lost in thought, silent; however, at others, Megan can speak a mile a minute and expect everyone to process her words. She's not one to be self-centered, but on several occasions she gets caught up with herself, especially if Pixie was successful in bringing down a villain or two.
Pixie wears her emotions on her sleeve, and because of this, she is comfortable with crying. She's very physical. She enjoys resting her head on people's shoulders and patting arms, even if it makes other people uncomfortable. She also enjoys being touched as well, whether it's through a high five or a bear hug. Usually the young woman never raises her voice in anger, since Megan tries to avoid conflict between her friends as much as possible. She always finds humor in everything.
Likes: Sports. Painting. Friends. Caffeine. Playing the cello. The Xavier Institute. Loud bass. Fighting crime. Being herself. Cyclops
Dislikes: Needles. Waiting in line. Being lectured. Feeling lonely. Homework. Being told, "You're too young/weak/etc". Getting her wings caught in doors. Greenhouses. Rollercoasters. Douchebags.
Fears: Mines.
Bio: Megan was born in Abergylid, Wales where she grew up in a small close-minded community. Much speculation surrounds her birth parents; she initially believed her father was a miner, however doubt on his biological relation to Pixie was later cast by a woman who claimed to be her mother who revealed that Jason Wyngard (Also known as the villain; 'Mastermind') was her father - the truth in her statement, remains to be explored.
Her mutant powers manifested in a car accident whilst she was on her bicycle where she narrowly escaped death. She was enrolled to the Xavier Institute through a scholarship where she has experienced the majority of her teenage years.
During a mission to save her friends and teammates from Limbo, she gave permission to Magik to use a fragment of her soul to create a her Soul-dagger. It became revealed that black magic now filled the hole in her soul left behind in the creation of the weapon; consequently, her personality lost it's innocence a transformation which was echoed in her appearance, causing strands of her hair to darken to black instead of pink. This sacrifice would haunt her in through out her later years.
After this she became part of the New X-men and later became a stable part of the main team; her ability to teleport multiple people would become crucial to allowing her teammates to strike quickly as well as saving multiple lives.
Although inside her personality has grown darker, Megan is often determined not to let this show to her friends; often acting bubbly, immature and striving to be the life of the party. The full extent of the effect her loss of innocence would have upon Pixie is not yet known.
Powers/Abilities
Powers: Insect wings protruding from her back allow her great maneuverability. Originally irredescent, since losing part of her soul they became decayed and duller in appearance.
Her wings produce pink glittery spores which cause powerful visual and auditory hallucinations to those who inhale them. They are characteristically pleasant; almost sugary-sweet with common appearances between teddy bears, bubbles and unicorns. She currently has no control over their influence.
Has unexplored magic potential; can currently only perform a teleportation spell which allows her to teleport herself and others other vast distances, including inter-dimensions. The limits of her teleportation spell have not been determined.
Weakness(s): In order to use the teleportation spell, Pixie must remember and be able to verbalise the following phrase; Sihal novarum chinoth!. If she is unable to speak she cannot utilise this ability. When flustered the effect of the spell and the range teleported can place those transported in danger.
Her Soul-dagger is most effective upon creatures and objects of a magical nature. It rarely has injures non-magical beings.
Her physical strength is only similar to that of an actively athletic teenage girl; when she is not able to escape by flying/teleporting away she may be easily overcome by stronger characters.
Abilities: Can summon her soul-dagger from her body at will. When this strikes a person who is possessed or otherwise under the influence of magic the sword is able to counter/break the spell.
