Bura might have given up her boulder along with her lands but the dark female did not give up her sense of importance. The three other jackals that traveled with her all yielded to her. Her bark was the final bark in all cases. If some one didn't like that then they would have to meet her jaws. Usually such force was unneeded as Junichi, Rena and Opka were all pretty good at keeping to orders. Specially Opka even if he didn't always have it in him to be capable of some of the simplest tasks. Bura often wondered if she should have offed him as a pup. It would have probably counted as a pity kill. That boys skull was so thick it made her angry.

But there was more on her mind then just Opka and how terrible a son he'd turned out to be. Bura wanted to find a new land and start a pack. She could not do this with out more jackals. Not only that, they needed a fruitful land with plenty of water and things they could hunt. So far on their journey Bura was questioning if it had been a good move to leave the old pack lands. They needed new blood. The rest of her children had ended up gods know where.

Blood. This meant more mouths to feed but it also meant a full healthy pack.

Bura's interest was growing on Rena and Junichi. Both were healthy young jackals and they could aid her in new members. She'd arranged a meeting with her daughter in secret away from Opka and Junichi in the heart of night under the stars.

Bura gave her daughter a nod of acknowledgement. Her features remained as stone as ever though giving no hint to what the older dark female might be thinking. There was no softness in those red eyes.

"Come child. Sit so we might talk of things," The acknowledgement of child was softer then something the dark female would usually say. She eyed her daughter and frowned when Rena hesitated.

"I said come," She barked.

"Good," Was said dryly as Rena took a seat. Bura was quite some time which might have been a little unnerving. Something was on the dark females mind and she was having trouble forming her concerns in to words. So she sat and let the tension build a little while her thoughts silently built in her head.

"Our blood," Was what came out first, "We can not wander around these lands like we have been. You have never experienced a packs embrace and as we continue I fear you will never know what it is like to be a part of a pack. What we have is a small group which is a good start but we need more then this." The dark female did not sigh or show any thing resembling an emotion.

"Your old enough to have puppies. Its up to me and you to replenish our blood." Bura did sigh this time, "I really don't want to demand this of you but I wouldn't ask you to do something I hadn't done my self." Bura straightened her self some, "You are free to leave this group if this is not what you wish to do. I will not stop you. Your litter mates have all gone so I do not demand you stay but if you wish to stay you must replenish our blood."

"How do you think me and your aunt did when I was found to be pregnant? We managed our own land and we took care of puppies. The grew up and they were pack. We have double what I had when I was about your age and your saying you can't do this small task?" Bura growled, "Then if this is so you are no daughter of mine and you must leave." She snapped her jaws at Rena.

Bura had calmed down just as fast as she'd snapped her jaws at her daughter.

"Wise girl," Bura gave her a nod, "Make sure you pick some one with suitable genes.. Junichi seems to fancy you I've noticed. Why don't you see what you can do with that mmm?" Bura got up and stretched then turned her back to her daughter to head out in to the vastness of the savanna.
