The Temple of Guidance General Setting:It is absolutely silent inside the Temple of Guidance. It is a very large, domed expanse, and you note that quite a bit of attention to detail and architecture has been put into creating this temple. You see several priestesses pass by, on the way to a room in the far end, where several more are bowed in prayer. A few Clans members seem irrate that you are even in here... OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS: - When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly. 1-20: You look at the two large statues placed at the entrance of the temple: both of them two cloaked figures with outstretched wings, very similar to the general appearance of the Priestesses. 21 - 40: You notice a strange smell in the center of the room: in a large pyre is what smells sweet and gentle: incense. However, smelling it for a long period of time makes you dizzy, and the room swim. 41 - 60: You notice that there are candles littered all around the room, and they are lighted in an odd, indiscernible pattern. (see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here! 61 - 80: You hear a Clans member chanting as he drapes an ornate, jeweled necklace over the pyre in the center. "All paths lead to the same end", "All souls require guidance"... the muttering goes on and on. 81- 100: One of the priestesses, in fact, the one leading a procession forward, turns around to look at you for a second, just a brief second, before walking away.

It hasn't been long since students' arrival, but Shenny was already fascinated with Death. To be honest, she was infatuated; it was even more amazing than Famine. Famine was... - Shenny tried to explain it to herself - exotic, very much not like Halloween or whatever one could expect, and thus appealing mostly because of this. Staying at Famine was a constant experience of a significant Other: their style, their aesthetics, their ways... It was an amusing experience she'd never trade.
But Death... It was completely different. The first thing she noticed here, that incense, so lusciously sweet, so familiar... This scent filled her nostrils, her head, her mind. Wherever she went on that island, she couldn't help smelling this scent, or was it probably her mind playing the tricks?.. Everything hear was different, unexpected, but yet somehow familiar, almost nostalgic, like she was born here, or have been here long, long ago, and couldn't remember a thing, but her mind was able to recognize the shapes. The black cliffs that occupied the biggest part of the isle were stunningly beautiful. Shenny could sense the physical manifestation of freedom in the air, in the shapes of the cliffs an spires, it was an enchanted, magical yet soft melody of flying and floating, harsh and natural, as the very particles of the island: the melody conducted by whispers of countless generations of Death horsemen living here. Shenny thought, it wasn't less about the beat of Life than about silence of Death.
The City lying in the center of the island heated by lava from inner parts of the ground was somber and simple, though mysteriously fascinating. Each building, each structure had the shapes most logical and practical, though beautiful, as created by nature itself: they fit in the landscape perfectly, with towers quite similar to cliffs and spires.
Look at this building, for example. The Temple of Guidance was the first place Shenny decided to visit. The silence inside was solid as a living creature; it was defeating any possible way of disturbing the calm reality of the shrine. On the contrary to the world outside, the temple's architecture was quite difficult; furnishing and ornamentals rich and majestic. The whole design was lofty and dignified, though it wasn't screaming of its beauty, no, it was calm, and every single space inside was somehow affected by the presence of something... kind of energy or fear.
Shenny noticed a couple of ladies in long dresses moving towards the room in the far end, where some of them were bowing in a prayer. Remembering not to disturb them, Shenny decided to pass it aside. The sorceress took a quick glance in the direction of the room only to notice a lot of candles littered all around the room... there was something strange about them. Shenny couldn't recognize what it is for a moment, but suddenly realized the candles were lighted up in a very weird, indiscernible pattern. Perhaps, it was required by the ritual.

The candles gave an odd light to the corridor she was standing in. Shenny noticed something in the air by the corner of her eye, but that was just a trick of light.
Anyway, spending her time here calmed her perfectly: all the emotions and thoughts were fading away, just standing in the Temple was almost like meditating.

The ghoul decided to stay in the passage for a while, and watch the ceremony. She could hear the beginning: the horseman was draping an ornate, beautiful language over the pyre in the centre of the room. Hid deep voice was telling about different paths all leading to the same end, and all the souls requiring guidance, and so on, - it all felt very logical and familiar to Shenny, like she knew it already. She couldn't help smiling happily.

Shenny definitely loved the entire atmosphere of the Temple: it was a unqiue opportunity to meditate without actually meditating.
The scent... This incense.. The smell was everywhere; it hadn't left Shenny for a single moment after her arrival.
She was sitting in the passage not far from the room where the ritual was taking place; the ghoul's eyes were open, staring at the end of corridor. It looked like she's daydreaming, her face pretty detached. Shenny could see both what her mind was seeing, and the actual reality beneath her eyes: the candles around the room, there is something strange, something very illogical, irrational about their patters, something hypnotizing, if you looked at them carefully... Shenny felt her mind slowly floated in the endless universe; torrents of fear were making their ways in many dimensions, she studied them curiously.

Shenny moved her arm a bit to lean towards the wall, suddenly her hand touched something. Candlejack! That distracted her. She turned her head to find a little token made in four clans aesthetics; she couldn't notice it before because of the strange light creating something like an optic illusion.
Again, Shenny wondered why does illusion play such an important role here, on the Death... Is it a metaphor of Life being only an illusion?..

Once she arrived at Death Isle, she immediately realized how important ritual was to the Death. So she determined to visit the largest temple on the isle - Temple of Guidance. The first feeling when she entered the temple was it was such a beautiful architectural piece! The carving on the pillars and the domed expanse, all are so nice! Obviously, the shadow ghoul was totally impressed. There were some priestesses passed by, their destination seemed to be the room at the far end. Several were praying. A few Death members seemed to be irrated that she was there.....maybe this place is not open to outsiders.... Before she left, she heard a chanting. It was a clan member and he was draping a necklace over the pyre in the center...? Why he did that? Some kind of ceremony? She could hear he kept murmuring the same sentences once and once again. ""All paths lead to the same end" and "All souls require guidance" were what Arynek could hear...... Quote: 61 - 80: You hear a Clans member chanting as he drapes an ornate, jeweled necklace over the pyre in the center. "All paths lead to the same end", "All souls require guidance"... the muttering goes on and on.

In the room, she spotted something shinny, she came closer and took a look, it was just a tiny ornate, would it possible that it was dropped by one of the prayers? Thinking that the person who dropped it might return for it, she put it back to the original position and left the room.

Finally Wylfenne came to the Temple following a sorceress they spotted at one of the death classes. The ghoul had the same puzzled expression, and Wylfenne wanted to discuss it with her whether their observations matched.

Strangely enough, the ghoul was not there, instead they heard a clansman repeating as if in a trance: "All paths lead to the same end", "All souls require guidance"...
Ah, the same no-answer answer they heard from Medea. What should it mean, for Jack's sake! The fae felt frustrated.... Same end, what was it? Death? But do they need a lesson to learn that?

Shenny noticed a figure moving in her direction. That was a Fae she saw here earlier, one of their group. Taking a better look, the sorceress still couldn't determine, if it was a boil or a ghoul... Jack, those unseelies were a strange folk. She never actually met one before, but heard about them: they seem to be quite closed and secretive society. " Hi there!" she nodded to the approaching fae. " My name is Shenny, think we haven't been introduced before".

Wylfenne noticed a strange smell...Incense, again! It seemed to be the weak spot of all the clans.... after all the traps and troubles in the Clans world the fae wondered ironically whether a gas attack would do any good....
The room swam, and their head was going round, but they got used to it already. This world was balancing between reality and irreality, so a good deal of dizziness will just make it easier for you to adapt.

Those candles... Shenny couldn't help feeling there's something odd about them. They were organized the way to create an interesting game of light, probably one more of those Death tricks to fool one's mind. In fact, the whole building with its corridors was constructed for that single purpose, thought Shenny. Its atmosphere of mysticism and ritual, it's planning and architecture, the lights from the ceremonial room: everything was made this way to jacking guide you, that what they liked.
And this, Shenny watched the strange light in the corridor. Why the Jack they need it?.. Despite the ghoul was annoyed, she couldn't deny it was pretty. For a moment she noticed something solid in the air around her. Was it yet another trick of light? Strangely enough, it wasn't; one of the tokes made in the four clans aesthetics was lying in her hand.
