Leo, I hate to argue with a VC here, but these ships make no sense in any reality, much less the one of Cowboy Bebop. The concepts are foreign, and the proportions are literally impossible. His little landing fighter is as large as a cruiser, but as flat as a pancake. He couldn't even stand up in the thing, but it would take five minutes to get down to the rear end... Taking into account the exterior and interior hulls, he'd probably have to crawl through it, taking him a half an hour to go from aft to stern...

I apologize if my desire for any sort of realism or sense has offended you, but nothing I said is untrue. If Lucian helped with this, then he is mistaken. Although, from his well constructed ship and profile, I would guess you've misinterpreted his help.

I am trying to help facilitate a literate and realistic environment, not a bunch of random ridiculous nonsense blasting around in space.

Your warship is 900 feet wide, 900 feet long, and 100 feet tall. It's as wide as it is long, massive, and flat, almost the exact opposite of the picture, or any possible space ship. You might as wee be flying around in a Borg Cube. Trying thinking BEFORE getting angry.

Likewise, I hate to argue with a member here. If you had a problem with Yoshi's ships, you should have spoken to him first before making any comments after his profile was approved. Furthermore, how large did you think the Bebop was? How do you think it was designed? Kay, not all ships have to be the same. If you had a personal opinion of how ships should be, then why did you ask the guild captain for help?

This argument is becoming excessive. I may not be an expert on the Bebop universe, but that doesn't mean everything has to be picture perfect. After all, last time I checked, a hacker on he series had two identities, not five or six, and I haven't said anything about that being unrealistic.

I understand that the ship is a bit excessive, and I'll ask Yoshi to minimize it a bit. Otherwise...this argument is being prolonged.

I did talk to Yoshi first, on my thread remember? And I already helped Lucian with his proportion mistakes, you can go see, right on his Apollo thread. He was straight forward and intelligent about it. I know the universe and studied the Bebop. This here is just ridiculous...

Can we just drop it or is Realism worth more then friendship!

Your beating the crap out of me Kay this Easter was friggen ruined and this isn't helping ok!
crying

I'm TRYING to help, but you take any criticism as a personal attack.

You're young, and have a loud personality, and like to get hype when things begin, but quickly retreat behind the complaint of having a bad day. I can relate. I can totally relate way more than you can understand.

I don't jump on people to hurt them, I give advice to try to help. You came over to my thread and made fun of my ship... My carefully researched, planned, and constructed ship, while you were over here throwing random stuff together to make your guy as super duper as possible. There's a time and place for that, which is not here, not now.

I didn't occur to me that any of this would threaten a friendship, and if it truly were, then it wasn't much of a friendship to begin with... But I'm sure that part was a dramatic joke...

That's it! Kay, Yoshi, take this to PMs! I'm getting stressed out already about this!

Yoshi, please convert the proportions to feet, and resize them. Kay...just stop.

This arguing is driving me crazy, and if this goes any further, my patience will be lost, especially considering the current time and that I'm getting a headache. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, but this arguing has gone out of control. With me being thrown into the mix with my limited knowledge of the Cowboy Bebop universe, I don't seem to be helping much at all, so what was the point of me being in this bickering?

Again, keep the rest of this to PMs, and come up with a reasonable solution without resorting to yelling at each other. As for me, I'm going to withold both of your profiles from approval until you two can reach an agreement. I'm sorry, but I'm not much help in this, and I'm getting a headache.

The landing craft seems mostly alright, but I'd make a few changes to the size and description... The size I've suggested would make the ship slightly larger than a LAAT, seen here. That would make it a landing craft. An effective fighter would be smaller.

As for the main ship, I would suggest you set yourself up something of a pirate. As in a smaller ship with a more manageable crew... Perhaps four or five?

At this time, the human population is about 1.7 billion, only a fraction of what is in 2012. This huge ship and crew doesn't really occur, plus it would be unwieldy trying to RP it... These kinds of resources and manpower simply don't come together so readily...

Edit: The character is fine, I simply mean pirate as in the way you operate. A mercenary with his own ship, capable of doing damage when he needs to, able to disappear when he needs to, and isn't so threatening that the universe turns all of its orbital cannons on you and wipes you out...
