The weather had finally gotten nice enough that Isadora actually wanted to spend time outside - she greatly welcomed the opportunity to have a little time to herself. The sun was bright, the temperature was pleasantly warm, and there was hardly a cloud in the sky as the woman hummed happily to herself while she walked through the streets of the city. It had been a while since she'd been able to go shopping. She couldn't even remember the last time she took up the chance, but she was certainly glad she did, as the cheeriness of the day had brought a smile to her face and a spring to her step.
Isadora's excursion was made more enjoyable by the fact that she had a little time away from the HQ. While she had rather grown accustomed to her home-away-from-home over the past years, things had been terribly hectic lately - what with the kidnappings and rescue missions and whatnot... It seemed like everyone had something to be stressed over. Yes, that was technically what Isadora was there for in the first place, but even she had to take a break once in a while! A little rest and relaxation would be just the thing she needed to keep up her enthusiasm. An exhausted therapist was hardly a therapist at all.
Continuing on her merry way, Isadora found herself at a small, friendly-looking outdoor cafe where a few people were sitting at tables, conversing and chatting with each other. Spurred on by a mixture of curiosity and hunger, Isadora bought herself a frozen Pecha-flavored lemonade and made her way to a lone table where she sat and sipped at her drink contentedly.

It had been entirely too long an ordeal, really - all of that stress and worry and frustration while the group of missing Rockets was still in captivity - but thank Arceus they were back and safe now. It was almost like a dream, really, at this point. A terrible, horrifying nightmare of a dream, but a dream nonetheless. Claire could still hardly believe they were all back and in one piece. Especially Aulus. She'd spent so many long, sleepless nights worrying about him, his well-being, if he was even still alive... For a few days, she'd even thought he was dead.
Far from it though, he was alive and more scarred than before, but at least he was back and safe. She felt bad leaving him alone at the base, but she had promised she'd be back in a few hours at most. She just wanted to do a little shopping. It had been quite a while since she'd bought any new clothes, and to be honest she wanted one or two outfits to wear on dates if Aulus wanted to take her on anymore.
So the day found her with several shopping bags in her hands as she walked down the street - she never drove - until a quaint little cafe caught her eye. Well, she was thirsty and she could use a drink...
A few minutes later and she had a frozen mixed berry lemonade and was about to find herself a seat off to the side, but a familiar head of seafoam green hair caught her eye. She couldn't help it, so she carefully maneuvered around various tables to the woman. Was it...? "Isadora?"

Hearing her own name being called, Isadora blinked and looked up to see a very familiar face standing before her. A smile shone on her expression as she greeted her friend. "Oh, Claire! Fancy meeting you here!" She didn't expect Claire to be showing up here in the city of all places - she had never seen the woman outside of the HQ, anyway - but by no means was her arrival an unwelcome circumstance. Sure, Isadora had been hoping for some me-time for herself, but she greatly enjoyed Claire’s company, so the opportunity to spend some time with her friend was eagerly accepted.
"How have you been, Claire? I haven’t seen you in quite a while," Isadora said, gesturing towards the chair opposite hers. When Isadora glanced down, she saw that Claire already had several shopping bags with her and she let out a good-natured chuckle. "Seems like you’ve been shopping today as well! Any particular reason?" Really, her question didn’t matter too terribly much, but she saw no harm in asking.
