A thirst was in his throat but he let it be. He swallowed, trying to wet his tongue and lap his lips so that the thirst would not fall to his stomach and bother him this day. Kai was off somewhere doing something, Ruijin as well. Ka huffed, everyone had a plan except him. The nergui, he felt were close, but he couldn't see them and he wasn't sure what to expect. All he could do was practice his sparring techniques, his form, with no partner and his siblings were off somewhere doing something without him.
Ka came to a gathering of stones that were an island in the sea of sand. They felt smooth, almost soft to the touch. And forcefully he struck out a palm of a paw towards one. It didn't thrum as much as he would have believed, granted he felt a tingle. He took a stance and repeated the gesture, the stone taking the wrath of his technique.
He needed a plan.

She was proud of herself. Despite her blinding white coat, Rashmi was an able huntress. Perhaps it was BECAUSE of her blazing white fur... And she'd learned fast to approach from the direction of the sun. The prey may have been able to smell her, but they couldn't see her. So as far as they were ever concerned, she was coming in from everywhere, and they had no idea where to go. They didn't even know where she was... Until it was too late, and she had brought one down. Now the white lioness was traveling back from her latest hunting trip, dragging a young antelope. That had to be the only reason she could drag it at all - It wasn't even an adult yet. She grit her teeth against the flesh, struggling for a moment to get it up the dune. It finally cleared the crest, only to go sliding down the other side... Very much without her. Letting out a surprised yell, she hurried after it. "GET BACK HERE, KILL!"

As he heard a voice, perhaps he wondered if it be the call of some far away being, a vision coming into this world, or something else, his nose caught the scent of blood, food, the kill. Ka turned to see what he could have believed a gift form the sun sliding down the dune next to him and he was off at an instant, muscles pumping his shoulders, head down.
It was no longer alive...but if it were a nergui kill fallen to the sands, he would take it for his pride.
However, as he ran he peered up, for a moment believing he was blinded and turned away, the antelope came to a halt at his paws as he stopped and he saw a sheer white lioness above him.
This couldn't be a dream..could it?
He was unsure of the circumstances, so he set a paw upon the antelope, as if claiming it were his. This female was... interesting to him, different. Perhaps he could bait her to come closer.

Sliding down the dune, Rashmi cursed her luck. It had all been going so well, too! She'd caught the antelope on her own, and now it had escaped her after it was already dead! As she slid closer, though, she noticed a dark lion. She swore she'd seen him around the pride before, so all pretenses of caution were gone. "Hi, I'm sorry to drop in like this!" She paused. "Slide in... Um..." She finally came to a stop, sitting on the sand right next to her kill. Given the angle, she found herself staring eye-to-eye. "See, I was bringing my kill back to the pride here.. And it got away when I crested that dune up there. Sad, I know... What kind of huntress has her kill run off after it's already DEAD...?" She gave a little nervous laugh. Oh but she sounded so silly now...

Ka quirked a brow at her and smirked, "How long have you been in the sun? You seem tired, and, perhaps well confused, you see, this was one I found," he said with a light chuckle, eyeing her with the smirk on his maw. He wondered how she would react. He hoped not ill, he was, after all, only playing a game. "If the dunes are so great, you must master your footing, or not hunt alone, especially now with what lurks beyond the borders," he said matter of factly.
Allright, so this was a game, with small little bits of information put in.
"What's your name? Perhaps then I might be inclined to return what I've found," he said keeping a paw on the antelope.
