A pit located deep within the Forbidden Jungle. The area consists of a pond, where the water from two waterfalls trickle into and slowly out on one down-hill passage. It creates a very serene and peaceful image, complete with lilly pads and friendly wildlife. The pond's water goes down about 5ft and is usually clear, but can suddenly turn murky and unpredictable with wildlife without hesitation. Whats more interesting though is the small mound located within the center of this pond that consists almost entirely of bones, mostly animal but some human. It is here that Yajuu the Wendigo slumbers. Within this den of his victims sit three alters, each holding a different colored stone. One red, one green, and one blue...

Darion slid over the ice and out of the fog."This swamp goes on for miles..." Darion said as he looked around the area and finally saw land. Darion quickly slid over to it and smiled. Darion stepped on to land and laid Jack down."Land...finally." Darion saida s he looked at his ankles. They looked alright, the bite's weren't major. Likely nothing would tear. He was safe."You okay Jack? Nothing serious?" He asked in concern for his friend

Jack smiled reassuringly at Darion, "I'm fine Dare....Nothing harmed thanks to you. You got to me a second later and I might be on death's door". Jack got up and stretched his arms, his shoulder definitely hurting but nothing major. After stretching he got back down, sitting his with knees crossed Indian style..."Note to self...whenever your with me, and we have to cross water...lets do that ice thing again....that was just plain out ridiculous. Medusa's, Ash Men, and poisonous ******** this place". Jack calmed himself down and viewed his surroundings. "Darion....Where are we"?

Darion looked forward and sighed."No idea...Maybe we're at our destination...Finally." Darion said as he shrugged."I hear you about the creatures of this place. I me a Medusa monster and those Ash Men...Like what the ******** pray that this Wendigo isn't as savage as we think...He might actually be able to talk and feed us before the fight. Doubt it though." Darion said as he stretched his arms out above his head. "Lets go..." Darion as he walked forward onto land and away from the water.

Darion looked at Yajuu."I was expecting a big hair monster, not a man...I can't complain... My name is Darion...This is Jack." Darion said as he "If you know we we're seeking you then you must know about those Ash men. Can you tell us about them?" He said as he scanned the surrounding area. It just crumbled away from them a dry sand castle falling apart. This place was different from the jungle. Darion was ready for the Yajuu to attack them with out notice.

Since Darion already made the introduction, there was no need for Jack to say anything, so he raised his hand up as a hello gesture. Bowing his head slightly in respect...probably cause he was the only person they encountered that didn't attack them on sight.
Well if this Wendigo guy wanted them dead, he certainly had every opportunity to do so. For one he expected their arrival and secondly the guy didn't even flinch upon seeing the two arrive. He kind of wished he would have spoken up first though, Darion was a bit...rushed in his questions, If it was Jack he would have handled the situation a bit more...formally. Though he doubt that Darion's sudden talking when get them into much trouble, this Wendigo person was relatively unknown to them. They had no idea how the Wendigo would react to certain actions. Him being in this very forest alone made him dangerous, Jack's body slightly tense and ready for action once he began to hear his voice.
Still, the man remained calm, so for now there seemed to be no cause for concern. However, Jack had a foreboding feeling in his gut telling him something was about to go down. He didn't know what...it might not even involve the Wendigo...but as long as they were in this godforsaken forest, they were at constant risk of being in some sort of life threatening peril. The quicker they were done with this Wendigo business, the quicker he could get back to his dorm room and enjoy an actual bed.

"I know who you are." The man snaps at Darion as he casually leans back against the flat side of a huge and uniquely designed great sword standing against the mound. He then cracks a menacing smile when Darion mentions the ash men, showing a row of sharpened white teeth that looked more like they belonged to a shark than a man. "In life, they were my greatest enemies." Yajuu then smells the air, smirks once more, and gestures to his side. "Heh, you've both been injured. Come closer. I may be able to do something about that."

Darion looked at Yajuu and sighed."Forgive us if we seem a little tense, we haven't had much to trust in on our journey here, but I assume you want us at our full strength. " Darion said as he approached Yajuu. As he did something Yajuu said made him think. "Pardon my step..." he said as he jumped on to the pile of bone."Excuse me for asking but, you said In life those Ash men were your greatest enemy...Do this mean you're already dead? Also what can you tell use about those Ash Men. Forgive me for asking so many questions..." Darion said as he lifted up his pant legs to show is bitten ankles.

Jack was no coward, he walked right along side of Darion, jumping the pile of bones. Jack fullheartedly agreed with everything he said, everything in this forest wanted them dead...Jack was dying to know if this Wendigo was any different. And if he was..why? He held those questions in his head as he continued off of Darion's sentence. "His curiosity of these strange people is shared. They seem to move as ghosts, going from one location to another snuffing out life wherever they roam. They seem to feel no pain and some weapons and attacks seem to go right through them as if they were specters hauntings these hallowed woods....however...as much as we would like are curiosity sated, I would assume you wish to do something with us".

Yajuu smirks, "Do I look dead to you?" He asks and disappears into his small cave inside the mound. A rustle of hollow bones and beads can be heard from inside, but he quickly emerges before either of the two can look in. He holds something concealed within his hands. "As for the ash men, they shouldn't be a concern of your anymore. Those dyed in white serve me now." He says to the two before adding. "Speaking of which, be sure to tell Arthur I said hello. I believe you two refer to him as "Gunner"."

"Arthur huh"? Jack whispered to himself. Something told him it would probably be best if he didn't call him by that name, but he kept the thought to himself. Another thought was brought to mind, and he spoke aloud at Yajuu directly, "You said to say hello to Arthur? Am I to assume this test is finished"? He mentioned the test cause Yajuu mentioned Arthur, why would he mention Arthur if he didn't know about the test in the first place. There must have been some sort of agreement behind the scenes...the two must be collaborating in some sort of way...or at least set up a mutual deal.
