Godsmack is better. Disturbed's songs mostly talk about war and all of the worlds problems. To me, mist of their songs sound the same.

I too have noticed that. And Godsmack solves their problems in a positive way when they start to fight, instead of letting egos get in the way, causing a big breakup like Disturbed.

I think Disturbed is better but simply because i like the sound of his voice more and their lyrics and they are a bit faster than Godsmack. I also dont listen to a lot of Godsmack so idk

At one point Disturbed was a beastly band with their two albums Believe and The Sickness after those two albums the band went down hill.
Godsmack on the other hand has four kick a** albums but their album "The Oracle" wasn't all that great.
So in my opinion Godsmack wins.

Agreed. Although The Oracle may have been considered their best album by most people, I thought it wasn't as good as their past albums. Mainly because all the songs sound the same in a way.

That's pretty much my main reason as well it all sounded the same to me hopefully whenever they make another studio album it won't be like that cause if they do that's another great band going down hill :/

It seems to me that every one of Disturbed's original songs sounded the same, but when they cover someone elses songs, they try to sound like them. Well, mostly Draiman's voice anyway.

In my opinion at first Disturbed was better then Godsmack but over the years they both changed. Disturbed seem to lose their insperation and now just keep trying to sell records. As to Godsmack they seemed to have found more of purpose and are now a really kick a** band. dramallama

Both bands are talented, but Godsmack is better. Godsmack's songs all sound good, while sounding different. DIsturbed's music is pretty much the same sound.

I like both but I would have to go with Godsmack since most of Disturb's music can be offensive. Plus, Disturb broke up recently and David Draiman went on to Device (his side project).

Disturb's music also sounds similar and they keep producing cover albums. Disturbs only good albums for me were The Sickness, Asylum, and Indestructible. Godsmack has a unique feel to their music and have some amazing albums like Faceless, IV, and The Oracle.

I like Disturbed better because I've listened to them longer and I love David Draiman's voice. I know they're on hiatus now so hopefully that gives them a chance to create a different sound without getting all dubstep like most other bands are doing.

I really need to correct you here; I'm sorry but when people get this one certain fact wrong it become a huge pet peeve. They didn't break up, they went hiatus, meaning they plan to get back together again in later years.
