"Why are you dragging me alone?" "I wanted to show you something." "Show me what?" he two came over the hill, against the wind and light rain. "This." Ibara made it dragging Yochi along. "Uuuwaaaaaaaaa..." Yochi looked over the Garden of Sun," So many flowers..." "Its amazing isn't it?" Ibara said. "It is." Yochi responded. Looking back to Ibara she noticed the bento box she with herself. "What's that for? Gonna poiison her dead?" She shot a glare at the glassed Youkai. "No, this is not meant to kill." Yochi grinned, then shrugged," Suit yourself." She stretched," I am going now, you are on your own, try not to get shot on sight, dear~" She laughed and turnd to walked away. "Ah..." Ibara looked as the mole youkai walked away," And, uhm, thanks for comming along..." "Its dark out enough it doesn't harm my eyes, might as well come and do something," she waved a hand over her shoulder," Luck~"
Ibara looked down to the field, and sliding down like that Sunny day, she slid down. She was carrying a bento box, yes. More of an apology present, but, it had meant to be for when she visted the Myoren temple after the full moon. But being that the bunnies ate all of it, she had made another one for this visit...
The oni walked through the garden, looking for Yuuka's home. Though, she was a bit disoriented, she figured she was on the right track...there was the danger of other fairies coming out and the like. Hopefully the food didn't attract any beasts...

The day had proven to be fruitless. The light rain the afternoon brought had cut Yuuka's pruning short, leaving much of her garden unattended, and left Yuuka to hole up inside her mansion.
From a room on the second floor, Yuuka gazed out over the field of sunflowers, sipping tea and relaxing by candlelight. From the window, she spied two figures moving across the distance, stopping upon a hill. A quick glare from the sun reflected off one as they turned to leave. The other slid down the hill with practiced ease. Yuuka eased herself off the chair, setting tea down. She decided she would meet this "intruder".
Exiting her home, Yuuka opened her parasol to protect her from the light rain. She walked along the same dirt pathway she had traveled countless times before, although now it had largely turned to mud. Reaching a fork that divided the garden, she turned down a path that ran perpendicular to the hill. It was here she intercepted Ibara, coming up behind her. "You'll catch a cold like that, you know." she spoke, holding her parasol in such a way as to cover both herself and Ibara from the rain. "What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you, I would attack you if you ever intruded in my garden again?"

Was the rain comming down any harder? Ibara sighed as she stopped to wring the water off her hat, momentarily placing the bento box's lace in her teeth to hold it. She pondered just how lost she was, but a voice interrupted her thoughts.
Looking over her shoulder placong her hat on and taking the box in her hand once more she turned as Yuuka warned her about the cold and the fact that she would be attacked if she where to return. "I guess I forgot about that-" She said sheepishly,looking up as the parasol begun to shield her as well," Though,..I dunno why you would attack me after you tell me you are here...."

"Is it about the other night?" Yuuka began, before noticing the dampness of Ibara's clothes. "...Never mind. Come, it'll be dryer in my home. We can talk there." Yuuka placed her hand in the small of Ibara's back, ushering her along the pathway she had just ventured from.
"I didn't expect to see you so soon, but..." 'I'm happy you're here', she wanted to say. She wasn't sure how to handle Ibara anymore. Digging deeper into her past may very well cripple the restraints Ibara had placed on herself, unleashing the beast within. This would lead to the possibility of exterminating Ibara...a duty Yuuka didn't want.

"Uhm...y-yeah...About tha-" Ibara started, but blinked when Yuuka talked about speaking at her home, as she was move along through the right path" Oh, thank you."
"Ah, Yochi explained what happened to me, when I woke up," Ibara said, quite emberrased by her tone, "I decided to get a small rest, before comming, I felt quite beat so it was a welcomed rest...."
"In any case, I hope Yochi didn't give you a tough time before I came along or when I was out, she really doesn't mean any harm to anyone-" the oni begun trying to excuse any rudeness her mole friends my have placed on the flower youkai,"She is very...quirky, but she really doesn't mean all the trouble she causes or half the stuff she says meant to harm-"

"I believe you put too much faith in your...companions...but I trust your judgement. In any case, I am the one at fault - I shouldn't have interfered with circumstances I didn't understand." Yuuka explained, admitting her own faults. "I never knew just how fragile your situation was. Until now." They arrived at her home shortly after. Yuuka opened the door for Ibara and closed her parasol.
She noticed the bento box in Ibara's hands. "You brought food. I see you plan on staying a while? You must overestimate my hospitality..." Yuuka said with a small smile, attempting to joke.

"Fragile..?" Ibara blinked as they arrived at Yuuka's mansion,"Ah...Well, I don't think you did anything wrong, I think it was more of an awkward situation."
The oni looked down at the box," Oh right, maybe I am." She chuckled handing it to her host,"I made one during the full moon, along with treats for Byakuren, Selkie and the rabbits. I am afraid the rabbits ate your share, so, I decided to try again since..." 'It would be an excuse to visit and explain... Ibara just removed her hat.
"I think you misunderstand the situation a bit," she said, looking at her hat. Abit since she was too emberrased to look at Yuuka," I am not in a fragile situation, and I don't snap every time I fight. I don't 'explode' on people." Seems Yochi had told her everything.

"Oh... Thank you. You seem to be outdoing yourself, taking care of those at the temple..." Yuuka took the bento box inside, setting it on the foyer. "You must care a lot about them."
She listened carefully to Ibara explaining herself. "I understand perfectly. There was a time when I was no different...but I had no trigger. I simply was." She explained while reaching up to her hair, tugging at a lock. "The shade you fought..." Yuuka sighed, crossing her arms. It was difficult for her to tell Ibara this, being as she had never told anyone before. "The spell uses magic to create a loophole, allowing a second version of myself to exist in the same space and time. What you fought wasn't another 'piece' of me, or a copy...it was me from long ago."
"This is why...I can't give up on you... It may be selfish, but in you, I suppose I see myself... Or rather, how I used to be." She said, looking off into the distance, unable to meet Ibara's eyes as well. "I killed. Relentlessly, and without remorse. And I was hated for it. The rumors that surround me?" she looked up to Ibara, a hint of sadness in her eyes, "I earned every one of them, because.. they used to be true. Thankfully, there are few left alive who remember that."

"Well they deserve a treat as well," Ibara smiled sligthly. She turned to Yuuka as she begun to explain what had happened in the cave.
So, it seemed as if that alike she had fought was Yuuka to more of an extent that either Yochi or herself had originally thought. Ibara rubbed at her neck as she listened, thinking that the flower youkai sure had a good grip back then. "Mh...I see,...."
"I get why you see us as similars, or well, that you were like I am now." The oni looked up as Yuuka turned a bit sad," You don't deserve any of those though, you change right? They just don't want to try to get to know you."
"Its easier to ignore than to understand."

"I guess I have changed... For better or worse is left to be seen." Yuuka sighed. "But, you have a strong spirit. I believe that, in time, you too will be able to control your power, rather than suppress it. At least...that is my hope for you."
She looked out through the doorway. The weather was persisting, and night had nearly fallen. Soon, the roads and forests seperating the Garden of the Sun and the human village would become dangerous as the nocturnal Youkai began roaming Gensokyo. "...The rain isn't letting up. You should go home before it becomes late. Or... if you wish, you can stay here for the night."

"It has to be for the better if you stopped killing, how can it be for the worse?" Ibara chuckled, but stopped when she heard the later part," Ah, Maybe. I have tried to do so since my exile and I haven't been able to do it. Not to mention I can't try anything now that I live in the village. A slip and Keine would end me along with all the other youkai that protect humans."
The oni looked out the door, thinking her already damp clothes didn't need more of that, she decided it was best not to trouble yuuka more. "i will leave in a bit, I can bet Yochi will be up on that hill as soon as the sun is gone with a lame excuse. She will say something like,'I got hungry, give me food' or 'Wanted to make sure you didn't food poison Yuuka' or the like."
~~~ Yochi was heading to the hill once more trying to time her entrance to Ibara's exit. She walked through the path with her shovel proped on her shoulder as she thought of an excuse to give Ibara, but her little journey was stopped short as someone interfered in her way ...
"Perhaps we could inquire about holding training exercises for you? If you were to explain your story to Miss Kamishirasawa and Miss Hyjiri, they may allow you an area within which you may practice controlling your power. I'm sure Keine, of all Youkai, would understand your situation, and either of them would have knowledge enough to teach you self control and temperance."
She listened to Ibara politely declining her offer. "I see. Well, do as you wish." Yuuka turned to take the bento box off the foyer, but stopped when she heard the mole Youkai's name. Sighing, she replied, "When will you people learn that my garden isn't a playground? Honestly..." She looked to Ibara with a small smile. "If it isn't one troublesome Youkai, it's another~"
Yuuka picked up her gift and moved towards another doorway. "Would you like some tea before you leave? Though, I fear it may be cold by now... - oh, and do close the door, would you?"
"Mh, maybe Keine would be happy to help...I don't know how that would work though, but I am sure the teacher will have some idea..." The oni thought out loud.
"I guess folk just like the pretty flowers~" Ibara chuckled as Yuuka went by with the bento box.
"Ah that sounds really nice and warm," the bartender smiled as she went to close the door, but was interrupted by some sort of loud crash in the distance. "Wow, someone else at it?..They sound awfully close."
Yuuka stopped, listening to the ruckus from outside. "The Youkai around here don't normally start hunting until later. It doesn't sound like a normal struggle, either...could it be Danmaku?" Indeed, this amount of noise wasn't common during regular hunting periods. It was obvious from the sounds that whomever was being attacked was readily able to defend themselves.
She moved towards the door and looked out over Ibara's shoulder. "Didn't you mention that Yochi might return near the hill...?"
"So its to early for this?...And too noisy..."Ibara tilted her head thinking," Looks like it could be danmaku..."
"...!" Ibara blinked," That could be Yochi!" Immidiately thinking her companion might have gotten into trouble, the oni dashed out. She wasn't going to get lost now, all she had to do was follow the uproar.
