{Of course this was planned and stuff! It's not like I forgot all about Easter and pulled this event out of my a** the day before or anything...ohgod I did and I'm so sorry ;____; don't hate me.} EASTER. That's right, Easter! A holiday we celebrate with eggs and chocolate and bunnies and may or may not have some religious symbolism in there somewhere.Spoiler: Jesus was a rabbit. What better way than to celebrate with a good ole'fashioned egg hunt? Wait, we did that last year. Well how about a giveaway?....we did that too? A gift exchange!...wait that was last Christmas...wait didn't we do yet? We're going to have an Egg Drop! What's an egg drop? Well, an egg drop is an event where one is given an egg and a spoon. You must balance the egg on the spoon and walk from point A to point B. Dropping the egg will end in a loss and you having to try again! also the death of whatever infant Pokemon lived in the egg but whatever. minor details.
Claim an egg, either a Pink, Blue or Green one and make a post stating such. From then on you must make a total of five posts carrying your egg from one side of the room to the other. Rolling a 100-sided dice, you must get five odds (or) evens in a row. If you do you win the egg and a special goodie bag! Everyone will automatically recieve a goodie bag at the events end, but special items will be placed in the bags of the Egg Drop winners!
If you drop your egg you can claim another one of a different color to try again. So you get three tries in total to complete the challenge since there are three different colored eggs.
GOOD LUCK!
(tl;dr, the room is all festive-y. Use your imagination.)

Kaiyou & IstasKaiyou was crouched low, holding the over-sized metal spoon in front of him. It was just within reach of Istas, who was very excited, and clearly eager to "help" him carry it. She couldn't carry it on her own, considering the weight of the eggs. He was sincerely hoping that they weren't actual eggs, or there would be a lot of noise and anger directed at the guilds. It wouldn't be the first time, either. He hadn't quite forgiven them for hiding orphans in a claw machine, although Istas herself seemed to have forgotten that the incident occured at all. From what he understood, most of them had actually volunteered to be a part of the game. It still wasn't terribly fair to anyone, though. No one else had been asked or warned about it.
Still, the wide-eyed smile from the young Pichu beside him was a welcome enough gift. Aryan seemed to have taken to her, as well, and that was just another blessing to add to the list. While Istas would never replace the daughter he'd lost, she helped to fill the gap. He messed her fur a little bit, the single, thick curl on her forehead tangling into a tangle of smaller, spikey ones. She giggled at him, bringing a smile to his face in return. She really was something special to him, adopted or otherwise. "Hey Snow; want to go and pick out our egg? There's a pink one, a blue one, or a green one," he suggested calmly, still holding the massive metal spoon. Where did the guilds get such things, anyway?
Her whole face lit up, as though he'd suggested flying through rainbows and living in a child's storybook. She beamed at him, her little tail waving back and forth like a puppy's. "A'kay! I want the blue one, 'cause it's the same colour as my scarf!" she announced proudly, her eyes wide with excitement. "Dad, you haf'ta stay here, a'kay? I'm gonna get the egg all by myself!" With her orders issued, she hurriedly stumbled over toward the great basket of eggs, and scrambled up the side. Her little paws just barely caught the edge, and she somehow managed to haul herself halfway into the basket, reaching out for the smooth, blue-spotted egg in front of her. She couldn't quite reach it, but she was very much determined. It was just a little further; all she had to do was lift her feet, and stretch out another inch or two-
Thud.
There was a muffled squeak from the little Pichu as she found herself sitting in the basket of eggs, ears pricked and eyes wide. "...Dad? ...I fell in..." Kai simply smiled down at her, having followed her regardless of the orders he'd been given. She really was adorable, sometimes. Without hesitation, he reached into the basket with the spoon, lifting her out of the basket with it, and holding her up in the air. She immediately dissolved into giggles. "You're funny!"
"The blue one, right?" he questioned her, reaching out toward the wrong egg. The Pichu on the over-sized spoon cried out in irritation, pointing toward the blue egg in front of them. Kai merely continued to smile, reaching for the green one instead. "It's this one, right? This one is blue." After a simple scolding for choosing the wrong egg twice, he had to laugh, picking the blue egg up in his arms and sliding his daughter back down onto the edge of the Easter basket. "Alright, Snow; you'll cheer me on, right?" She nodded seriously, and he grinned, placing the egg on the end of the spoon.
He just hoped that he wouldn't drop it, or this was going to get horribly messy.
{{ I'm going to try with the BLUE EGG first. c: }}

Otis MilaThe pair walked into the festive area looking kind of battered and scruffy, small bags beginning to form under their tired eyes. Mila's paw lifted and began to tug at them gently, trying to wipe away the heaviness that was slowly overcoming them. The vibrant colors in the area were not helping. They were supposed to be cheery, but Mila did not do cheery. Instead she gave an agitated groan. The effect was not lost on her partner, however, as a smile formed on his maw. It looked half-way crazed, given his slightly deranged appearance, but he could not help it. The cave had left him bedraggled and still unaccustomed to the light. The colors gave him an uplifting feeling though, and he sucked in all the fresh air, holding it for a moment, not wanting to let it go. Of course, it eventually forced itself out, but that did not stop him from momentarily freaking out and gasping for more. Mila gave a wayward glance to her overly awkward partner, and let out a small sigh, before she realized she too had been holding her breath a little longer than normal, enjoying all the fresh air that she could. Otis soon bounded off, leaving Mila alone once more. She near panicked for a second, and then glanced all around her to make sure no one saw her, and then bucked up, putting her game face on. She stared after her partner, who was doing something stupid with a spoon. Otis had seen the event beginning to take place, and he had decided to completely immerse himself in the event. To take his mind far away from the team's first mission. To make him have happy thoughts instead of bad ones. Bad memories, he needed to bury those. Bury them under mounds of good memories. The eggs surprised him, and those bad memories tried to surface, but their happy colors seemed to dominate the bad emotions, at least for now. He seemed to get the gist of the event. Balance the egg on the spoon. He got the spoon in his mouth, and was particularly surprised by the weight of the egg. His fear of being a murderer almost made him back out of his decision. He nearly shook the thought out of his head, until he realized that would be an insta-lose. Instead he followed suit with his partner, and put his game face on. Nut up or shut up, right? The pink egg blocked most of the Eevee's view, but he began his trek. Mila watched, a smile finally invading the fae's face. It felt awkward and unfamiliar at first, but she could not keep it off her face while watching her partner struggle to balance the poor egg.

Kaiyou & IstasKaiyou was doing well, the egg easily balancing on the spoon as he walked. It was a slow pace, for sure, but he certainly didn't want to tip it over the edge of the metal utensil. If it were a real egg, well... he didn't want to find out the wrong way. He didn't think he'd get over the idea of dropping a live egg onto the floor. The thought quickly brought him back to focus on the task at hand, nervously balancing the egg on the spoon as he tried to keep it from falling to the floor.
He wanted quite desperately to keep it balanced, focusing almost entirely on the egg itself, and the spoon that held it. Every so often, it seemed to roll a little to one side or the other, and he anxiously tilted the spoon back in the opposite direction. It would roll back into place, and he'd level out the head of the spoon once more. His stomach was twisting, at this point. It looked so real that it was becoming increasingly difficult to tell whether or not that it was indeed the case. Well, he wasn't that far away. He just had to be incredibly careful, he supposed.
A sudden strike to the back of his knee made him stumble, the large Swampert, shocked by the impact. Without warning, the egg slipped from the spoon, and he dropped it entirely in favour of catching it. He was very happy to catch it, the smooth, round object held safely in his hands. The contest judge was there in a few steps, holding out his hands. Kai reluctantly returned it, hoping to hell that it was still a fake egg. He'd saved it once, and he wasn't keen to have to do so again. The judge seemed to catch his grim expression and nodded.
"...Um... Yes, I think it would be quite preferable if we switched back to chocolate eggs..." he mumbled sheepishly, holding the egg in a close, protective grip. Kai shot him a dumbfounded look.
"...And it was ever preferable to use real ones?" the Swampert demanded to know, rather horrified that he'd been correct. He could only just stand there in shock as the contest judge ran back to the basket, putting back the egg that they'd taken. Within a few moments, he was back again, pressing a new (chocolate) egg into his arms. It was wrapped in a smooth pink wrapper, and considerably lighter than the previous one. Hollow. A hollow, chocolate egg. He could feel so much better about carrying this across the room on a spoon.
The Pichu sitting behind his foot glanced up at him with a curious expression. "...It's a'kay, Dad. I liked the pink one better, anyway. Just don't break the rules again," she informed him comfortingly, her ears twitching upward as she looked up at her father. Nevermind that she'd been the one to trip him up in the first place. A sweet face and a pure heart were generally quickly forgiven. Particularly if the ones wronged were an egg (which was safe, thankfully) and a protective father.
{{ EGGIE! NOOOOO! D': ...Um... the pink egg, now, I think... }}

  Aryan - William
A chuckle resonated from the door leading into the Main Hall, where the Easter party was taking place. Leaning against the door frame, with his arms crossed and a shining white smirk upon his face, was Aryan Bongiovi the pervert Weavile. Over time and with the proper care, the Weavile was able to overcome and accept the loss of most of his living family, as well as his young daughter Sharona. He and his cousin Lucy were now the only living members of the Bongiovi family, and he had come to terms with that. It was time now to focus on his own family, the team that had accepted him.
Aryan was chuckling due to the fact that he was watching his mate and young adopted daughter, Kaiyou and Istas, fail epicly at all things egg-related. Aryan was a bit startled when he saw Kaiyou's egg fall off the spoon, sucking in a breath as the Swampert managed to catch it. Exhaling his breath, Aryan shook his head. Boy, he's lucky that wasn't a real egg.
The Weavile approached as Kaiyou spoke with the contest judge that was there to claim his fallen egg. Needless to say, the Weavile was within earshot. "What in the f-..." Aryan stopped himself, glancing down to Istas, who was near him. "Why would you even use real eggs?! That's just awful!" Aryan crossed his arm as he stared the judge down, intimidating the other Pokemon away quite easily. "Maniacs..."
A few little swipes of feet began to slide across the ground. They were little footsteps, obviously belonging to a little Pokemon. It was indeed a small Aron trotting through the room, a brand new member of Team Dropkick. Too new to go on the big mission to defeat Eridanus. William the Aron had been left in charge of Team Dropkick's room and such while they were away, which he could understand. He just wished he had some ladders in that room, it was hard to clean the tabletops...
William was looking around at all the decorations in the Main Hall, squinting a bit. So many bright colors, they almost hurt to look at. Wasn't this a holiday to celebrate fertility? The Aron just couldn't help but wonder how this was supposed to be a holiday appropriate for children. Well, as long as he had some free time, William felt it would be good for his team to come back to a goodie bag or an egg. Make things seem a little better after the battle.
Without a word, William reached up onto the front table and grabbed a spoon in his mouth. Moving to the table carrying the eggs, he tapped the spoon by the blue eggs. An event helper nodded, taking the egg and placing it on the round part of the spoon for William. The Aron carfefully made his way to one side of the room. 'Alright William, don't screw this up... Arceus on high, is there actually something living inside this egg...?' Very carefully, the Aron began to slowly walk across the room, doing his best to keep his grip on the spoon balanced. It was much harder to do this with your teeth than with a hand.

Otis MilaOtis took baby steps forward, almost shuffling instead of stepping. He noticed if he slid his paws forward, instead of picking it up off the ground and then returning it, he shifted less weight by just sidling forward slowly. The egg would teeter and slide on the spoon, but as long as it did not topple, Otis was satisfied. He'd slow his pace when the egg began to tilt, slowly attempting to level it back out. He tried not to act out of instinct, because his head moved too fast to try and fix the eggs balance, which would generally make it worse. It got to the point where it was hard to focus. Otis could hear his blood pumping in his ears, his heart seemed to throb inside of them. He tried to keep his cool, but soon the heat became all too real. He could feel sweat building above his brow, and he coul feel his stomach tying into knots and trying to trip him up. Mila's smile never faltered or left her face. Until she watched her partner drop the egg. All fun and games were over as the egg splattered on the ground. Was that the small for of an unborn Pokemon...? Mila covered her eyes as she felt them well up. She knew she wasn't the nicest Pokemon, but the pure horror of the crude evillness behind this idea of an event was just awful! As if they needed to be reminded how weak and vulnerable eggs could be. This wasn't very festive, and Mila felt a sickness begin to swell in the outer reaches of her stomach. She tried to remember what she ate for breakfast, but figured she'd be tasting it again soon. She lowered her paws, and look over at Otis, all of a sudden aware that he probably felt worse than she did. She was right. Otis' tail had not only drooped, but was tucked in between his back legs. His tail was poofy, so it looked silly, but Mila was not in the mood to look on the bright side of things. Otis was feeling worse. The sense of dread was brewing in his heart and in his lungs, choking up his air. He couldn't save this egg anymore easily than he could have saved Sola's eggs. And they were in a safe enviroment with no enemies to worry about. All he had to do was balance the egg. It had begun to hurt his mouth, and the egg sufficiently blocked his view, but those were not acceptable excuses. Otis returned to the eggs, and this time picked out a blue egg. He got a good grip on the spoon in his mouth, and the egg was placed on the spoon for him. Again, he began to move forward in the direction he was pointed in. The egg still more or less blinded him, but Otis was a lot more determined this time. Mila watched, shocked and mildly morbid. She had no real hope for poor Otis to get the egg all the way across, it just seemed to impossible. She kept her arms and hands at the ready, anticipating needing to bring them up if Otis seemed like he might drop the egg. Otis was determined to prove he could rescue this life. This innocent life that could not defend itself. He was in a rescue team, in a rescue guild, this was his job. He could not afford to let others die and be so easily lost when they put their lives in his paws. He had to prove his worth. That he could do it. That he would not allow anyone to be easily gripped by death. He had to believe in himself, otherwise he might drown in the sorrow that had followed him out of the cave.

Kaiyou & IstasKaiyou shot his lover a sympathetic glance, though turmoil still stirred in his own stomach. He'd come so close to dropping that egg, and quite honestly it was one of the worst feelings in the world. Just about every Pokemon had a soft spot for eggs; they were delicate and entirely helpless. It was only instinct to care so deeply for them. In fact, there were a lot of very nasty, crude names for the few whose instincts should fail to kick in. "Disgusting filth" and "life-crusher" were a few of the nicer ones from wherehe'd grown up, though Kai would personally prefer to ignore that sort of behavior entirely. It wasn't worth it, and it really wouldn't change anything for those who sincerely didn't care. "Come on, Aryan. We have a chocolate egg this time; let's try to avoid thinking about it." His voice was low and soothing as he tried to calm the both of them away from their protective instincts.
Istas pawed a little at Aryan's leg, moving away from Kaiyou so that she didn't trip him up again. She didn't want to keep making him lose, especially when the spoons already looked kind of... slimey. They were covered in cooking oil; that was what they smelled like, anyway. Cooking oil had a funny smell. "...Aryyyyannnn, can I have a piggyback?" she questioned hopefully, practically singing Aryan's name as she did so. She was entirely unaware of the problem that had just arose, and was simply enjoying the event for the simple excitement of it all. She hugged his ankle affectionately, nuzzling her face into his cool fur. "You're all soft and fluffy, just like me!" She loved Kaiyou, but Aryan was best for snuggling.
The cold didn't bother the tiny Pichu, as she could remember nothing about her life before Kai and Aryan. They were her parents, her mother and father (although she tended just to call them "Dad" and "Ari"). Warmth wasn't something that she was drawn to, for her thick fur and over-sized scarf kept her warm enough to last through even the coldest of days around the guilds. As far as she was concerned, they were her real parents, and cold was always a good thing. "Dad's gonna win, right Ari?"
Kai merely smiled at the two of them, his eyes sparkling with amusement as he continued to walk along the narrow strip of floor he'd been granted for the contest. With the chocolate egg, the matter of balancing the weight was much easier, though perhaps a little more difficult to correct if he stumbled or tripped. A lighter egg would be more easily shifted about, and less easily controlled. Still, it wouldn't matter if he dropped this one; it was a relief to the stress of before. No real mess on the floor, either. The tinfoil wrapper clearly marked it as a false egg, and now more of the chocolate eggs were being tucked into the basket among the real ones. He noted with displeasure that the real eggs weren't at all being removed, but he could always punch someone's lights out afterward. Whenever Istas wasn't paying attention.
The large Swampert was beginning to wish that they'd given him more room to move about, struggling to keep his large feet within the borders of the lane he'd been placed in. There was another group not far away; a small, dark Eevee carrying an egg very similar to the one that Kai himself had taken previously. It wasn't a tinfoil egg, but instead one that seemed along a little too... real.
The Eevee's egg fell to the floor, and Kai froze at the sight and sound of it, his stomach twisting with nausea. That... That had been a live egg. A real one, and certainly the look of agony on both his face and his partner's was enough to convince Kaiyou that they weren't happy with what had just happened. "...Oh no," he mumbled, still a little in shock as he watched the Eevee return back to the basket for another egg. ...He was very glad to have caught his egg, but at the same time, he felt a lot less comfortable participating in this event. "...It's just chocolate. Just chocolate." He had to comfort himself somehow, walking a little faster toward the end point of the course.
{{ Don't drop it, don't drop it.... ;___; Seriously, I'll make Aryan carry it next time, if that's what it takes. SUCCESS. <3 ILU, DICEY. }}

Otis MilaOtis tried to focus, but felt his mind slowly slipping into a slight daze. The more he let it happen, the more his movements got fluid. He was able to shift his weight and sidle forward with minimal teetering of the egg. Without over focusing, his mind was compensating for the weight and moving forward at a decent pace. Not fast, but not overly slow either. Otis could feel himself drifting, but also felt like he was making good time. He did not try to look around the room to see if anyone was watching, instead his thoughts twisted and twirled and fogged up the bad memories. He was starting to feel like his old self again, as he slowly but surely made his way towards the other side of the room. Mila watched with a growing frustration. Otis had stopped his shuffling tactic, which Mila had liked, and instead was just going for it. No worries and no cares. How could he do that? How could he treat the egg like it was not one? She could almost swear his eyes looked glazed over. Oh! The yelling she would do later to his careless mission would be hard pressed, to be sure. Her own bad memories were swirling around in that big old noggin, threatening over-bearing stress and her cheeks flushed with warmth. She could not watch anymore, and instead tried to focus on finding herself some refreshments. She did not want to watch her partner dig himself any deeper into any holes today. Maybe tomorrow, but no more today.

  Aryan - William
Aryan continued to stare down the contest judge until he was well out of the way of Kaiyou and Istas. "Shmuck..." He muttered under his breath before turning to face his mate and adopted daughter. "That better be a chocolate egg. I'd destroy this whole room if it wasn't," He then said with a smirk. Needless to say, after losing his daughter, Aryan was rather protective of the lives of children.
Looking down at the small Pichu pawing at his leg, the Weavile's smile grew a bit. He may not have Sharona anymore, but at least he had this angel below him. The Weavile bent down and swung an arm, effortlessly scooping the little Pichu up and seating her right on his shoulder, keeping his arm up around her to keep her balanced there. "Enjoying the view up there, hun?~" Aryan cooed, reaching his other claw up to gently scratch under the Pichu's chin.
William was not having a good time at all with his little egg-carrying adventure. Internally, the Aron was freaking the ******** out at the fact that he could be carrying a live egg in the spoon hanging from his mouth. 'Ohgodohgodohgod...' William's inner monologue went off as he slowly took step after step, his legs almost shaking with nervousness. It was then that he heard the sickening crack of a live egg smashing against the ground.
The sound caused William to flinch, and the egg to dangerously wobble in the spoon it was being held in. At that exact moment, life suddenly began to move in slow-motion for poor William. For what seemed like hours, William watched as the egg slowly tipped over the side of his spoon. 'Sweet baby Shaymin noooooooo!' William screamed internally as he slowly let the spoon drop from his mouth, diving forward for, again, what seemed like hours in an attempt to catch the egg.
Sadly, William's efforts were to no avail. The egg crashed violently against the ground, the shell splitting into hundreds of tiny pieces. However, rather than the yolk and fetus of an unborn Pokemon, what scattered against the ground was multiple assorted jellybeans. The Aron stared at the mess for some time in disbelief. 'That... doesn't look like a fetus...' As William's thoughts raced through his mind, only one thing was verbally spoken by the Aron. "How did they even get jellybeans into a hollow eggshell, anyway?!"
After debating how to make sense of the entire situation, William found himself content to blame the ordeal on some sort of Psychic wizard Pokemon and leave it at that. Sighing, the Aron moved to the table with his spoon. This time he chose a pink egg. With a bit less stress on his back, the Aron moved to one side of the room once again and slowly and carefully began his second try.

Otis MilaAlthough Otis was not watching, he could sense the sudden absence of his partner. His heart sank. His body began to lose it's ability to compensate or worry about the egg, and he began to drag his feet instead of keeping up a strong pace. His mouth begun to feel numb, and the spoon seemed to slide right out. That strange eeriness that came with their first mission, the bit of the cave that had come out with them, it was only bearable with Mila around. Not because he saw her as anything besides what she was, she was just there with him. They shared the same experience, the same feelings, the same memories. Without each other, the memories were too heavy. So his head became heavy. He was too lost in the fog, that the sudden ball and chain really took him by surprise. The only thing that led him out of the fog, was the sudden crash as the blue egg hit the floor. He had confused it for glass breaking, until his eyes seemed to readjust and his body got orientated to the room once more. Mila had heard the sound, and figured it was her partner. Who else would murder eggs so relentlessly? She sighed, having to turn around and head back to her partner before she could even grab a drink. Her face was still warm and tingling with nerves, while her palms and mouth started to dry. She did not like the feeling, but she also could not leave Otis to his own devices. He was too retarded to ask anyone for help. She cursed inwardly at her malice towards her own partner, but couldn't help but feel her temper starting to get the best of her. When she saw Otis walking away defeated, remains of the egg being cleaned away by a rather large mop of some sorts, she walked over to the egg pile, picking up a green egg. It was their last chance, and she might as well join her partner in his misery, so he might have some company.

Kaiyou & IstasIstas smiled with a brilliance that was unmistakable, her tiny feet hanging in the open air as she was drawn up and onto Aryan's shoulder. Her over-sized scarf hung down, trailing along Aryan's slim torso. Her paws were pressed firmly against Aryan's fur, trying to keep herself balanced. His arm helped, too; she could lean against it a little bit, so long as he didn't decide to move it afterward. Her eyes were bright and wide as she glanced about the room. She was so excited, really. There was a lot to see around here, and everyone was moving. It really was a good view, she agreed, nodding along with his question.
She wrinkled her nose, giggling abruptly as her second adoptive father scratched gently at her chin. She leaned forward, tucking her muzzle into her scarf to try and keep the slender claws from tickling her neck. It was a funny feeling, and not an altogether unpleasant one, but she couldn't help it. What tickled, tickled. "Aryan, you're tickling me!" she laughed, shifting sideways to hide behind some of the long, scarlet feathers on his head. She liked his feathers; they were thick and soft, even though she didn't understand why he needed them. Weavile didn't fly, did they? That would be cool, if her dad learned how to fly. "...If you could fly, you'd teach me, right?" she piped up, curious as to whether or not he actually could. She liked that idea.
The sudden change of topic was not out of the ordinary, the young Pichu being very much a mixture of rodent and child. She thought and functioned in a very fast-paced sort of way, and the constant desire to explore and understand was likely quite a task for her family to handle. They managed it somehow, though she wasn't aware of it.
Kaiyou, on the other hand, was more focused than excited, his determination blazing in his golden eyes. He merely smiled at Aryan, though a trace of uneasiness lingered in his expression. "I think this one actually is chocolate. It feels lighter than the other one, and it's wrapped in tinfoil." He was attempting to be reassuring, although he couldn't help but feel a little resentful of the event's organizers. He agreed with Aryan; what sort of lunatic would have even put real eggs into this sort of game in the first place? Those were children! Sure, they hadn't hatched out yet, but they still deserved the chance to live. "Besides, I-"
There was a sickening cracking noise, and Kai immediately glanced back to his egg, only to relax as he realized that it wasn't his. Of course it wasn't; his was chocolate, anyway. So then... who had dropped theirs? He grimaced as he recognized the remains of a very real, and previously live egg spreading across the floor. That was one less child in the world, and it made his heart ache a little. This was a really disturbing, sick way to spend the day. 'Just don't focus on it, Kaiyou. Don't focus on it.'

  Aryan - William
Aryan gave a soft chuckle at Istas' cute little reaction to the tickles he had given to her chin. The Weavile lowered his arm, releasing the Pichu from his tickly torture. "You're just a lil' sweetheart, how can I resist tickling?" He purred, smirking as he glanced up at the Pichu on his shoulder. He brought his gaze back to Kaiyou as he held Istas steady on his shoulder, a feathered ear flicking as the Pichu then began to speak of flying. Aryan had only ever heard of one flying Weavile, he himself had been related to the Pokemon. Sadly, said Pokemon had also been a clinically insane genius, and had tried to kill everyone in the Guild in a quest for world domination. Nico Bongiovi had practically ruined the good name of Aryan's family.
"If I could fly, I'd teach you to soar across the world, somehow~" Aryan replied gently, smiling up at Istas. "Maybe someday we'll both learn to fly, and we'll carry your fat daddy Kaiyou around so he doesn't need to walk around so much~" The Weavile then teased, shooting a glance and a wink over to the egg-carrying Swampert, chuckling.
William was absolutely NOT having a good time with his egg-carrying experience. Only three steps into his second attempt, his grip on the spoon slipped, causing the metal object and the egg to clatter against the floor. As the egg cracked open, a thick yolk and white oozed from it. It had been a live egg. William just stared at the yolk, not moving or saying anything for a good few minutes. So much was running through his head about what he had just done. His aorta was tied up in a thick knot, his solid gold eyes shaking a bit in fear.
He had just ended the life of an unborn Pokemon. There was no greater sin. William could feel his gut begin to twist and turn at the sight of this twisted scene. Many thoughts rushed through the Aron's head, but only one was vocalized. "I'm a murderer! I'm a chiiiiiiild murderer!" William cried out. It took William another few minutes to make peace with himself before going back up to the table to begin his third and final attempt.
The Aron stared up at the green eggs, looking over at the Pokemon that was handing them out. "Please give me an egg that is NOT alive, you crazy maniac," the Aron growled. After getting a dirty look from the other Pokemon, one of the eggs was promptly placed on a spoon, which was taken between William's teeth. The Aron went to one side of the room, and with a sigh, began his final attempt at the egg walk.

Kaiyou & IstasIstas giggled again at the compliment, her little blue tail twitching as she listened. She liked the funny vibrations in her father's shoulder when he purred like that. Kaiyou could do it, too, but Aryan was lots better at it. It just made him sound funnier. "Well maybe I'll tickle you back, Aryan!" she replied in her most threatening voice. This, of course, still sounded absolutely adorable. It wasn't physically possible for Istas to be truly threatening in any way, shape or form... and her threat had involved tickling someone far over twice her size. She didn't seem to notice how silly it sounded, instead butting her head in cheerful apology against the Weavile's cheek, hugging and nuzzling the side of his head.
As Aryan made his promise, the little Pichu smiled back from where she crouched on his shoulder, her wide blue eyes full of hope and excitement. It was kind of sad that Aryan couldn't fly, but at least he believed that it was possible. She wanted to learn, someday. Or maybe she could breathe underwater, like Kai could. She could play with fish, or see in the dark and stuff! She just giggled, for the most part, as Aryan made a joke about the Swampert being fat. She didn't know if he could hear Aryan, but that was pretty silly! "His fatness is funny~!" she piped up in reply, still laughing a little in response. "He says it keeps him warm inside, so he's not all shivery when he's swimmin'." She was proud to have remembered that, and the proof of this was evident in how she crouched with her furry chest puffed out, chin held high.
Suddenly, the somewhat silly pose was broken, and she turned to continue chattering in Aryan's ear. She'd just remembered something, and it was really cool. "There's a Pikachu that flies, and she has wings and everything! She's really pretty, and I'm gonna be just like her when I grow up~! ...Well, not a Pikachu, but I'm gonna fly, too." The child was pretty excited about the idea, and she lifted her arms like they were wings on either side of her. "My wings are gonna be this big! I'll be faster than... than a Starap-rap.... Staraptor!" It took her a minute to remember all of the word, but the embarrassment over messing up on what she was about to say was fairly shortlived.

Kaiyou was grinning from the other side of the room, fully able to hear both his lover and their daughter as he continued along his path toward the finishing point of the course. The pair of them weren't much more than purely adorable, in his opinion. With any luck, he'd be able to win this thing without too much trouble, and be able to go and actually spend time with them. He hadn't expected this event to be too difficult for Istas to deal with, but because of how young she was, she still wasn't very good at walking about. In particular, she had a huge habit of tripping over her scarf, or her own feet. He didn't want to explain to her what was constantly being splattered across the floor, either. "Unborn children" was never the right answer.
He sighed a little as he watched a tiny Aron shuffle back toward the beginning of the course. A moment ago, he'd been shrieking like a frightened child. It wasn't that Kaiyou could really blame him; it was kind of... sickening to learn that the egg was in fact quite real, when you'd just dropped it on the floor. He just hoped that his daughter hadn't heard that, because yet again; not something he wanted to explain.
His careful, steady gait toward the course's end was almost impressive, at this point. He hadn't come close to dropping this egg, and he'd gotten further than anyone else had so far. He'd already figured out that they greased all of their spoons to make the task more difficult, and there were a few carefully placed obstacles for Pokemon to trip over. It wasn't really that bad for him, because he was so much larger than most of the other Pokemon present, but trying to stay within the boundaries of his lane of the course... that was trickier. He'd already been scolded once or twice for accidentally straying from his section of the event.

Otis MilaMila held her arms out and at a 90 degree angle in front of her, the spoon sat tightly in her mouth, her sharp teeth almost trembling at the weight. The egg obstructed her view, but not enough to really bother her. She kept her eyes looking a bit above it, keeping her eyes on the prize. Or the wall, technically. Her tail swayed behind her, in attempts to keep her balance. So far it was working. It was easier for her to balance the egg since she wasn't top heavy, like her partner had been. Being able to use her front arms to help balance herself had been a big help. She tried to keep her breathing steady and rarely blinked, afraid of the egg tipping while she was paying little attention, even if it were for just a moment. Otis had returned to the scene, just in time to see Mila doing pretty ok. He thought about how it should have been her in the first place, maybe that way they would not have killed so many poor eggs. At least if she tipped the egg, her front arms and hands were free to grab it before it cracked or something, like he had seen some of the other teams do. He let his rump hit the ground, and then let his front half fall too, and let his head lay wearily on his paws. His eyes grew heavy, but he did not fall asleep. He kept them trained on his partner, there for support if things did not go the way they wanted them too. His mind was glazing over, but his eyes never left Mila's form. The egg on the spoon seemed to be sitting well, Mila's jaw was probably stronger than his, too. He made a defeated grunt sound, and then let his ears droop as he kept his eyes still. For an Easter event, this wasn't much fun.
