 The Temple of Guidance General Setting:It is absolutely silent inside the Temple of Guidance. It is a very large, domed expanse, and you note that quite a bit of attention to detail and architecture has been put into creating this temple. You see several priestesses pass by, on the way to a room in the far end, where several more are bowed in prayer. A few Clans members seem irrate that you are even in here... OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS: - When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly. 1-20: You look at the two large statues placed at the entrance of the temple: both of them two cloaked figures with outstretched wings, very similar to the general appearance of the Priestesses. 21 - 40: You notice a strange smell in the center of the room: in a large pyre is what smells sweet and gentle: incense. However, smelling it for a long period of time makes you dizzy, and the room swim. 41 - 60: You notice that there are candles littered all around the room, and they are lighted in an odd, indiscernible pattern. (see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here! 61 - 80: You hear a Clans member chanting as he drapes an ornate, jeweled necklace over the pyre in the center. "All paths lead to the same end", "All souls require guidance"... the muttering goes on and on. 81- 100: One of the priestesses, in fact, the one leading a procession forward, turns around to look at you for a second, just a brief second, before walking away.

Lumikki had snuck out of the dorms shortly after Ylaria had escorted all of them back. She was hoping to meet up with Julian in private. As she wandered she found a quiet place, it was a temple of some sort. As she quietly walked in to the building he could see several priestesses. Some seemed a bit irrate that she had disturbed such a serene place but she figured as long as she was quiet it would be alright. The details of the temple were exquisite as she looked around the wide opening. Hoping that Julian had gotten her message to meet her there.

The owl demon walked into the temple and stopped in awe of the room. It was exquisite architecture, something Andor would have admire greatly. His eldest brother loved buildings, looking at them, studying them, even designing them. Because his natural Sight was the weakest of his brothers, Andor had decided to focus more on his design skills.

Lumi's ears twitched slightly. She heard a different sound more of a clicking rather than the soft shuffle she had kind of gotten used to. Turning slowly towards the sound she wondered why exactly she was nervous to talk to the boil one on one, he had been very sweet. But she was just one step ahead of disaster the whole time she thought with a frown. As she started to call out to him she remembered where she was and opted for quietly walking over to him.

Julian thought he saw something out of the corner of his eye and looked in the direction. Was it just a candle like all the others that surrounded him?
Nope, must have just been a trick of the light. His attention returned to Lumi, whom he finally saw walking towards him. He gave her a little smile and moved towards a more secluded section of the temple, where they could talk and not bother anyone. He say down on the floor, wrapped his wings around himself like a cloak, and waited for her to join him.

Lumi smiled happily to see Julian, as she followed him to the area he had decided upon she looked around her. They were far enough away from all the others in the room but at the same time had a clear view of two very large statues. "hu...they look like the Priestesses...I wonder if they awake at night..."Her voice softly asking no one, turning she saw him sit down and wrap his wings around himself, now what to do. Did she sit near him or stand...finally opting for the sitting across from him so she could face him while they talked.

"What did you want to talk about?" Julian asked, missing her earlier comment about the statues. She looked anxious about something, he wondered if he had done something. he tilted his head a bit to one side, just sort of watching her. She really should be resting, the both of them should, but she had wanted to talk and if she felt up to it, that was fine, he supposed.

"talk...oh!"Lumi was so engrossed in the statues that she almost forgot why they were there in the first place. Looking a bit sheepish she looked around. "uhm...well I...when I fell asleep...yo..you said it was okay but..."She cocked her head to the side and thought of the right words, she couldn't just blurt out what she was thinking, that could possibly scare the boil away for good but at the same time she didn't want him to think she had no idea what she was talking about. "You...seemed different? Di...I was sleeping right...I wasn't like telling you my name and childhood was I..."Her face got really red, "...oh please tell me I didn't tell you about my childhood..."

Julian sighed and raked a hand through his hair. It was something he had picked up from Cyrus. Of course she would ask about that. But he was an honest boil and she would just fret over it if he didn't tell her, he was sure of it.
"No, you didn't tell me your true name or about your childhood..." He started, but had a bit of trouble continuing. His cheeks turned a little pink with his own blush.
"You asked, if you got enrolled at the academy, if I would help you. And then you said you were cute, but then you... You started mumbling, that you were supposed to say I was cute, and that I probably have lots of ghoulfriends, and... well, I don't..." He sort of just stopped there, glancing at her for her reaction.

Lumi's eyes got huge, "oh..."She squeaked, "well...uhm...that's better than my childhood...I mean...having help in school is always good...possibly...wait I asked...nooooooo..."She sat completely stumped, well how was she going to talk her way out of this one. She clearly had one to many hits to the head, yes that was her way out. But did she really want to lie to him? Glancing around the temple she, started to blush, her voice still holding that squeak, "...i uh...wondered why you...wait...you don't?"She keyed in on that one bit of information and decided to run with it she had already put her foot in her mouth so why not shove it further. "...why not? you're cute...like really cute...wait I might still be dazed from class...okay no that's a lie..."Turning back to him she winced slightly, "...you probably think I'm crazy...some ghoul who not only used you as a pillow but also apparently professed undying love for you. Or did I just call you cute...if I only called you cute then you can disregard that last statement..."

Julian watched as Lumi processed everything he had recounted. He looked away when she asked about why he didn't have a ghoulfriend, then proceeded to back it up with reasons why he should have one. He looked away, considering it. Yeah, Sin thought he was cute, but ghouls just didn't go for boils like him. They liked tough guys like Rosc, guys who could protect them. Julian could barely protect himself. He suddenly remembered being unable to protect Alcie. She'd been eaten by a fish, and then burned. He had tried to shield her and Sin, but he'd been too slow. As soon as he felt the flames lick him, he saw Alcie disappear in a ball of fire. He had tried so hard to shield them, even curling his wings, and still he'd failed.
His heart hurt...
"Ghouls like boils that can fight with or even for them, who can protect them from all the... mishaps we have at school. I can barely protect myself sometimes. Besides, I don't think they much like bookworms who stutter too much, either." It was negative, but true, at least in his mind. He ran his hand through his hair a gain and shook his head.
"You didn't say anything like that, just that I was cute. And I don't think you're crazy, just dazed. Class was hard today, and you really should be resting..."

Lumi's ears dropped when she saw the sudden change. Hearing his tone she looked down, she didn't mean to cause him pain,
"I...you lost someone important to you?"She wasn't sure what else she could say, there was so much she wanted to say but felt that it was wildly inappropriate seeing as how she was the one that cause the sudden change in him. Still looking down she said very softly, "I like bookworms..."Hoping he didn't really hear that last part she looked back at him, "I guess class was kind of hard...I think I'm going to miss y...uhm everyone I've met here. A little sadden that I'll have to try and make new friends on the isle of conquest."She really didn't care for the others she had met on the isle but it did pain her to know that it might be a very long time before she met up with him again. Her eyes shimmered slightly with a hint of tears. As she hear a few clans members chanting she wiped her eyes quickly,
"Perhaps...we should get some rest.."

"Sort of, not really. She's Sin's friend, I hadn't met her before. But something bad happened when we were on another trip and I hadn't been able to protect both of them. She's okay now, but... I guess I just can't get over how I felt then, rather than how things are now," Julian replied with a shake of his head. He'd caught her comment, smiling a little bit. Others didn't realize it, but he had very, very good hearing. If he didn't hear you, it was usually because he wasn't paying attention, rather than the sound being too soft.
His smile grew a little more as he tilted his head.
"Hey, don't worry about it. You can get the others' numbers and text any of us. Tell us how things are going. And who knows, maybe we'll all end up together again before this trip is up." That seemed to be a trend, at least on the adventures he'd been on.
He was momentarily distracted by the statues she had mentioned earlier, but the distance in his eyes passed and the focus returned to Lumi, missing how she wiped at her eyes.
"They'll probably take that phone back up once this is over, maybe you can get one of your own and we can keep in touch. There are other ways, too, but it's probably better to take it one technological step at a time." It was sort of a joke, it even kind of sounded like one.

Reeshie Hack doing this on a cell phone but checking regularly lol wonders of data YAY Nodding slowly she saw a smile on his face, oh maybe she didn't say anything too bad after all. Hearing his comment about getting numbers and texting she giggled.
"I'm sure they wouldn't let me keep this...it might explode..."She said as she pulled the little black object out of her skirt. Looking around she had noticed it seemed quieter in the temple. Standing up and offering Julian her hand she smiled a little more. "We should get to our rooms before class...if it's anything like today we might need all the rest we can get."

Julian was careful as he took her hand and stood, not wanting to hurt her.
"Would your mother let you have a phone?" He had made the assumption that, since she didn't already know what a phone was, she might not have a lot of exposure to technology, which could have been part of her upbringing. His father liked to tinker a bit, so there was always stuff to see in his workshop, questions to ask from his curious sons.
"Yeah, we probably should. I really miss my nest at school, sleeping here has been weird," he replied, shrugging. At home and school, he didn't have a bed. Avian harbingers tended to have problems with mattresses, because they didn't move if you kicked it, so most tended to have large piles of pillows, to help prevent tearing when their feet moved in their sleep.
