I'd like to make this a multi-genre writing guild, with each subforum representing such things as:
fantasy fiction (epic, modern, folk, legend)
science fiction (space opera, aliens)
modern fiction (realistic, current or near to times)
horror fiction (slasher, jump scare, fantasy)
romance fiction (clean romantic fiction)
18+ fiction (no porno but a place to write more risque stuff)
mystery fiction (Sherlockian, murder, cozy)
historical fiction (any era, fantasy)
fan fiction (book, anime, show, manga)
non-fiction (a place to write things like poetry, seek criticism, get advice, whathaveyou)
etc. and each thread in the subforum being it's own story. Everyone would be free to make their own story, within reason, in the thread. Rules would develop before everything else.

Basic in progress outline for things.
To create a new story thread in a subforum:
1. Create a new topic (story thread)
2. Make sure to follow the rules for making titles and first post rules.
3. Post the world post so everyone knows what's going on!
4. Post the character profiles at the start of your story!
___Options for character profile posts
a. if it's not going to be more than the original writers, just post the character profiles in one post per writer.
b. if your going to be adding writers, make a single post and have everyone add in their character to the post (by add in, I mean designate someone to whom you all will send their profiles to be posted)

New thread protocols: When making a new thread, the creator needs to have landscape (where it is), the basic plot (what's going on), the characters (who's involved), how many (will you accept new writers)

I'd like to have at least two moderator for every subforum (eg, two for fantasy, two for modern, etc) to ensure user compliance, monitor writings, issue warnings for rule breaking, provide dispute resolution, etc.
Within that, I'd also like a third group to monitor the moderators and provide unbiased conflict resolution if needed.
Hierarchy would be as follows:
Captain
Moderators (8-10)
Monitors (4-5)
Moderators would be crew part of the crew but monitors would not.

So for the most part, this guild is ready to go. There are rules for the guild itself as well as rules specific for the subforums. I've done some codes for writers to use but I do think I need to have a how to thread for how this guild should be used.
This is still an open comment thread so if anyone wants to weigh in, please let me know.
