OOC: PATROLLING/ STANDING ON GUARD - Your trainee can choose to ICly do patrols, with others or simply by themselves. If they wish to SOLO or PRP, simply copy and paste the mechanics below to their own thread and label it PRP/ SOLO IN THIS SUBFORUM. If you are wandering closer to base, this thread is the ORP. Anyone is free to interact with anyone else "patrolling" in this ORP thread. - Simply ENTER the base patrol area when your trainee feels like it and EXIT it when they need to leave ROLLING DICE: (you can roll up to 3 times per patrol) - 1- 20: You see nothing, but you hear the sound of something rumbling, of clashing noises in the distance. - 21- 40: You encounter a large, oversized insect. It screeches and hurls itself at you! You manage to barely fend it off but you take -10 damage. - 41 - 60: You see a strange hole in the sand, walking closer towards it. It's a trap! A giant six-foot scorpion springs out and nearly disembowels you with its tail. You barely avoid the attack, but take heavy damage while taking it out. -20 damage - 61- 80: You hear screeching noises a little further away, and see a Moon Hunter battling with an oversized scorpion. You go to help them, but take damage in the process too. -10 damage - 81 - 100: You walk around and suddenly hit something odd in the ground. They look like strange flecks of dark red, but the sand quickly sweeps it away.

Dakota cringed as he felt the blood wet his bandages but was overall super happy to see Clerise. He wanted to see her at least once before he died.
He didn't really know why since well...Him and Clerise had a thing but it wasn't really a thing. It was come and go, do as you please thing. He was fine with it.
and not at the same time.
"Hey Babe, why you in such a hurry?" He pulled her into the shade of one of the tents, not really wanting to start the patrol right away. "What's your deal Red, did something bother you today?" He wasn't sure but their text seemed playful and right now...she seemed withdrawn and upset.

The harsh sun was a comfort, the sweltering heat an unfortunate but necessary side effect. "Mmm." She peered up at Dakota, a sardonic smirk on her face. "The horseman and I got into an unfortunate spat. I was stuck in the infirmary for like four days-- and we got this mission like, a day after~" She let herself be moved, slinging her arms around his neck, toying with his hair. He was a beautiful, beautiful little distraction. She pressed another kiss to his lips, letting herself drown in the sensation of another person. Clerise did not do monogamy, but what she had with Dakota was not yet worthy of such discussions. "Many things bother me-- like the ******** apocalypse." Clerise slid a hand south to run her nails along Dakota's hipbone. "And your virginity. That bothers me, too~"

"I see, Horsemen made these little marks on yo?" Dakota reached up again to touch them, brushing her hair back to stare at the angry scars. FEAR had such a way of marking their body.
"I didn't know." He frowned, hand going to her chin, tipping it up. He liked kissing though, liked kissing her. His tongue slipped in hers.
When she pulled back though, he gave a loud protest.
"Yeah its coming soon-" He shivered at her hand and grabbed it, eyes darkening. "Babe, Don't start something we can't finish....." He brought her hand up, over her head and kissed her again. "If we make it out alive, I'll give you anything you want."

That was part of it, anyway. Clerise let Dakota's fingers roam over her skin-- it was hard not to flinch. "Feathers," she said with a little, bitter laugh. "Feathers cut into my skin. ******** feathers." She focused on better things-- like the feel of Dakota's lips against hers, slightly chapped from their arid environment. Luxuriously, Clerise wrapped her arms around Dakota's neck-- amused that he was taller than her, these days, what a growth spurt-- standing up on her toes to deepen the kiss. "Mmm." She tried to tug her hand away, grinning playfully at her friend with some benefits of the kissing variety, easily malleable under his touch. "Let me enjoy you while I can, hm~?" Twining her fingers in Dakota's, she nipped at his lower lip, rolling her hips at him teasingly. "I have so much to teach you, brat," Clerise murmured against his mouth, mind aflame with all the things that she was going to do to him. Oh yes. He would be such an excellent student.

Dakota blinked at the mention of feathers. Feathers? Was that why her marks seemed so...inhumane. Well not that they wouldn't be inhumane cause you know...Creature of the apocalypse or whatever but...You know what, he just wouldn't go on it. Leave the feather thing alone.
He instead focused on her arms around his neck. Something he was getting accustomed to now that he was the taller one of the two. Oh yeah growth spurts, making him a beast.
"I'll let you if you let me?" Dakota grinned when she pulled him closer. ********, was it hot-Okay Sahara but oh god.
"I got a lot of time to learn yeah?" His hands curled around her body, around her waist and sunk to cup her a**. "Especially when we make it out of this. You better give me all the lessons Clerise." He lifted her up nipping back at her bottom lip. "********. I don't think anything is going to help me with a growing problem downstairs...." He sighed.

"Oh, I think you should know by now that you have no need to ask permission." She snickered, mocking him with a playful kiss at his neck. "Ah, well. We don't have much time for lessons~" The smile was lazy and her eyes were heavily lidded. "Oh, the things you'll learn, brat." She stepped away for just a moment and-- A bug snapped at her heels. With a hiss, she kicked at the damn thing, glad it was shaken off. That was close. "The price I pay for being distracted~" hp// 30
