Please let me know:

-Ideas for guild events such as zOMG, slots, towns, etc where we meet at a certain time

-Ideas for new rules, contests, newsletter, or whatever else you might think of☺

Alrighty I am bursting at the seams with ideas. So knowing that no one likes getting over loaded I will keep this short and simple.

1.A guild chat space possibly

2.Maybe do a newsletter on new contests and events happening from time to time

3.A huge monthly contest of some sort to keep things active

4.I know this sounds really mean but maybe you could prune the unactive members so that the guild is looks more interesting to new people

5.A money/item pool for a gigantic drawning

Great Ideas. I think we can make some of these work. I am going to promote you to Vice Captain because you seem like a good leader and you have good ideas. Also, what do you mean by "prune the unactive users"? I have been promoting every new member to Crew so they can invite people, but I am thinking about demoting everyone except you back to member.

After awhile if people don't post or do anything in the guild you remove them. In many instances this makes them start to post out of fear of being kicked. If you just send out an announcement stating something like "All members who have not posted since joining I am going to start removing in so many days. If you are going to be absent but know you will become more active drop me a line" That will get them motivated.

Great idea. Since you are the Vice Captain now, could you send that announcement please? Also, could you help me demote everyone to crew except you and I. Then people can earn their ranks☺

I agree with cheshire and:

For peace sake it's a lottery guild and you only have two open lotteries, you need more, with mixed prizes not just gold, objects and items too, promotions and banners as prizes too not just the plain gold, don't you think you would attract more people when you give away items as well?

That is a good idea. The only reason I did not give items in my main lottery as prizes is because I did not have the money. My last account got hacked/banned from Gaia, so I made this new account, Sh4wny. The Lotto / Money Games Rules and Guidelines says that Items given away as lottery prizes must be owned by the lottery owner before the lottery starts.
Also, I am about to start back to school and I do not want to spend very much time on Gaia. The games and activites are supposed to be run by guild members, not me. Due to your concern, I have created a subforum entitled: Member-run Lotteries ☄. In this subforum, guild members may create their own lotteries, which may include items as prizes.

i have a couple suggestions that might be helpful
1) you could change the home pg of the guild, personally i'm not a big fan of the spinning thing
2) i agree that inactive members shouldn't be part of the guild, there's no point for them to stay
3) have tektek contests, its not a tekteking guild but it's something that's rlly fun to take part in

I have changed the banner on the guild's front page.
I personally don't mind inactive members too much. I would like this guild to have as many members as possible and keep growing.
If you would like, I can promote you to Vice Captain and you can help get people more active in the guild.
We currently have several tektek contests going on in the Games & Activities ♘ subforum.
The two that I know of are:
TekTek contest!
and
Cosplay Contest (Game)
Feel free to create your own contests, meet new people, and have fun☺
