The massive Nidoking known as Rose was walking along the path with his current charge clinging to his shoulder, listening to the little whispers of shiny Zubat. The creature was so shy and skittish, clinging to him and giving a little squeal here and there anytime the bat heard anything that he might chalk up to being dangerous... he really was a cute creature Rose thought to himself, giving the little one a pat on the head. He'd found him a short time ago while swimming, well Rose was swimming where as the Zubat was getting washed down stream, and he'd fished him out. Poor thing, it seemed as though he'd gotten caught up in a rain storm while trying to escape some 'crazy trainers' as the Zubat put it, landed in the river, and was brought along to where Rose had been swimming. The Nidoking was glad that he was nearby and able to save the little thing, something so rare as a shiny Pokemon needed to be protected not harassed.

"We will see about finding somewhere nice to hang out, a place that we will be able to sit in the shade and just enjoy the weather. Seems that we have outrun to storm at last." He said, as he continued to pet the Zubat, hoping to soothe his nerves a little bit so that he wouldn't be so skittish and eager to use the Confuse Ray attack on everything that came by. It seemed as though that were the green bat's favorite attack as well as his favorite way to escape from danger. Nothing better then using an attack that stunned and confused before flapping away as fast as his wings would take him, or so the Zubat told him. Rose on the other hand didn't seem to get into all that many fights, he had an air about him that said he was dangerous, his height and muscles helped as well. Funny thing was that his moves weren't exactly key for battle, he wasn't raised for that. Instead he'd been raised as a helper, being taught a lot of HMs, giving him the ability that made him useful to construction though after finding a star while on the job Rose had decided to strike out on his own for a time. His trainer understood and told him that he would have a job waiting for him when he got back no matter what he looked like these days.

Peridot suddenly jerked upright, ears twitching, then opened his mouth to ready his Confuse Ray... and Rose lifted one strong hand to cover his mouth, "No. No Confuse Rays, let's see what is coming first." He told him as they continued along a few more steps and found themselves faced off with a rather... strange little group, "See? Looks like... kids I think?" They were rather small, smaller then any kids he knew but at the same time they had a look like kids to them. Weird.

The shiny Zubat shifted back a little further, hiding behind Rose's braid, the only part of his hair that wasn't spiked up, and while he didn't blend in at all with the hair he would do his best to do so until he could get a feel for the kids they were dealing with. So long as they didn't start throwing PokeBalls at him he would be happy.

Rose gave a bit of a grunt when one of the little kids crashed into his leg, then tilted his head to one side, "You alright?" He asked of the one that bumped him, finding the cry of 'oh crap' to be a little confusing, wondering if he had startled the little one... and it didn't take long before more of them showed up. He found himself counting them, taking in their colors, and he gave a little whistle, "You... are all Exeggcute, aren't you?" He asked as he squatted down so that he would be a little closer to their level so that he could better look them over. So little, so pink, and definitely a cohesive group from the looks of them and how they reacted together. They were so small... it had him wanting to reach out with one of his large hands to poke at one of them, to make sure they were actually as real as they appeared to be. He would refrain though, afraid that he would knock one of them over if he poked at them given the differences in their sizes.

When one of them greeted him, telling him that it seemed as though he were enjoying the warm weather he gave a nod of his head, "Yeah, it is quite nice out today. Better then the rain we have been having." He agreed with the little egg.

He was distracted from the conversation on the weather when he saw a bigger version of the rest of the group appear in front of him. He blinked his pretty colored eyes a couple times then gave the biggest of the group of psychics a friendly smile, "Hello there." Rose greeted her as he started to really inspect her, taking in the bandages that were wrapped around her eyes. It was then that his face went from looking friendly to looking more concerned, "Hey, you alright there little bit?" He asked of her, wondering how she had gotten herself hurt. Was she alright? Must have been taken care by someone though since she did seem as if she'd been bandaged up and didn't seem ill. Her injuries didn't seem as though they had caused her a fever, that was good at least he thought to himself. Looking the eggs over though saw that she wasn't the only one that had gotten hurt... which had him wondering who it was that had hurt them and felt the overwhelming desire to find that person, or Pokemon, and given them a good swift kick in the a**... that or wash them away with a Surf attack. Either way was an option in his mind.

As the biggest of the eggs spoke to him he gave a smile, "Yeah, I am out on a walk with my little friend here." He reached up to pluck the shiny Zubat off his shoulder and held him out for the others to see, "He's a little on the shy side but he is quite sweet."

Peridot wasn't too pleased with the fact that he was forced out of his hiding spot of, given he couldn't really win in a battle of muscle against the Nidoking he instead did his best to hide behind his wings. He wasn't allowed to use Confuse Ray on these kids which meant he was stuck hiding out behind his wings until Rose let him instead hide behind his hair again. Until then so long as this group didn't tease him he was fine.
