The Open Canopy General setting: The open canopy is a series of simple wooden structures that may see at first, rather precarious, especially while climbing upwards. The structures themselves are actually rather sound and ironically, rather comfortable looking, similar in style to the dorm rooms, only much larger. Foliage and trees cover up a good portion of the view, but from the ground up, like all the other structures in the clan, the drop down would be rather far. OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS: - When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly. 1-20: The area itself seems rather abandoned, though as you look a little past the area, you can see a few Clan members flying away, seemingly towards the portal exit. It looks like they're in a hurry, and heavily armed. 21 - 40: Black feathers are scattered all over the room. It looks like two clan members got into a fight here, judging from the heavy scratches on the ground, though what exactly happened? (see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here! 41 - 60: You hear a strange shrieking noise, as you look out, you notice a series of bird-like minipets perched next to this place. They are staring at you keenly for some reason.... maybe they want food? 61 - 80: You notice a single painting in the room, featuring a rather bloody, but illustrative, depiction of several Clan members of war cutting off the heads of what look like humans. 81- 100: The small fireplace inset in stone seems to contain bits and pieces of burnt, charred notes. Only the edges remain, revealing - maybe some sort of map?

Amphi stretched again in the dorms after the training with Tybalt. Fortunately for the Mermaid, she was glad to have friends she could practice with but eventually, she would have to practice solo so she could stand on her own two feet.
However, today she wanted to explore again, and to the Canopy where she had saw the mysterious light from before. This time though...
She was taking Thana for good measures, because it was really...really high up.
"Thana? Biskoto? Do you guys want to explore with me?" She looked for the two, and so she could tell Thana what happened in the cave. She didn't have Lizzy or Xiu around so...she needed to offload on Thana.

"Sure," He looked around the open canopy, letting Biskoto do her own exploration on the platform; this place does look somewhat safer than the observation tower, but again, he was convinced that the horsemen of War were masochists to themselves and sadists where outsiders were concerned... Thus he was prepared for sudden attacks, "There's not much to do outside of classes but to explore~"

Amphi jumped as Thana immediately responded before taking her hair and playing with it. He looked awfully bare today...she tried to peer at what he was missing. It took only a second as she heard a whisper of a his and Biskoto's body sliding on the wooden planks to realize the reaper wasn't carrying his other half. Smiling, she watched as Biskoto made her way before pulling up to stand by Thana.
"This is true, that and battle. It seems its either exploring or battling all day..." She kept close to Thana as they started the ascension of wooden and rope stairs to the Canopy area, "It still feels a little surrell to be in a habitat far different from Amity and The oceans." She looked at the tree's and foliage that surrounded them.
There was a warm moist heat among the tree's, making Amphi grateful that she didn't have a lot of clothing on....as Thana would say.
"I'm...sorry..." She looked over at him before looking away, "You helped me out a lot during the training course and....I feel like I was a burden..." She sighed, clearly troubled on the fact that she couldn't just stand on her own.

The heat also meant no fur coat for him; he was missing it already.
"I suppose that they're not called the Clan of War for nothing," He chuckled, grabbing Biskoto and then making his way up after Amphi, seeing how the snake would take forever to climb the array of ropes and stairs due to her size; it was almost like he was always training as well. Weight lifting.
"A burden?" He was mildly surprised to hear that, although this was Amphi and he should have expected her to feel that way. After a moment's pause, he shrugged and chuckled again, gently stroking Biskoto on the top of her head, "I hardly helped you with anything, except for the last leg of that training."

The canopy wasn't far for the mermaid and Reaper and once she ascended in it, she gave a quick breath of relief. Though the heights scared her, being in the canopy once gave her a relaxing and calming amount of degree. Even if it was the War's Canopy.
"I suppose your right, Its such a change....for one as myself." The self doubt started to rise again. "Thana..." She turned to see him following her up with Biskoto, lifting her effortlessly it seemed. Even if Amphi TRIED that, she couldn't do it easily.
It said a lot about how physically strong Thana was, and how mentally strong he was....he had such a easy time with the training course...It made her wonder what he had to endure to become the way he did, if he did have to endure anything.
"Yes." She shied away now, looking out over the treetops, "You helped me make it to the end. After...After I dove into the pool..." She hitched before shaking it off, "I didn't change to a mermaid, that's a first for me. I was stuck swimming with landwalker legs and I panicked...I barely made it to the surface and after that...After that I was scared and terrified, I couldn't even swim. Imagine a mermaid who couldn't swim!" She blinked.
"And you didn't leave me in the cave." She looked over to him, shyly stepping forward and looking up to him. So he could understand what it meant to her that he had been willing to do that.
"Thank you...I meant to tell you Thank you for helping me." She flushed and reached up on tippy toes to lay a very VERY brief if not small peck on his cheek with her lips. Like it was a second...if not less when she heard the shriek of birds outside the canopy. Jumping back, her eyes caught them and they were

She flushed and the hair rose on her back. NICE ONE AMPHI.

Spotting a painting to the side, he glanced briefly at it; it was a well-done painting, highly graphic. The ones being beheaded were either reapers or humans, but judging from what they had been taught so far? It was probably the latter.
"Ah, I did hear something about natural abilities being on lock down, so perhaps that caused the mishap," He turned to look at Amphi before pausing at the peck on the cheek - meanwhile, Biskoto had covered her eyes with her tail, although it was rather obvious that she was peeking - and then grinning, that same grin he always gave her, "I accept your gratitude."

She like jumped at the birds and then blushed, realizing what she did.
And then stared at his grin and flushed more. Jack, she had given him a KISS ON THE CHEEK.
Oh jack...Oh jack.
"I...Yes, perhaps." She was really looking away now. SHE COULD FEEL THE BURN OF HIS GRIN ON HER BACK.
"Okay...okay."
Just focus on the painting now.
Just look at the painting.
"Did...Er...um...." She just didn't know what to say now that she was all tensed up and awkward and...THINGS.

"Hm?" He walked over, standing directly behind her, "Fascinating painting, isn't it? I'm not surprised by the theme at all. It sums up this place and their beliefs." A pause, and then he leaned forward so that he was hovering over her shoulder, his voice lowering so much that it was almost as if he was whispering, "Even your ears are blushing."
He was grinning. He was definitely grinning.
Meanwhile, Biskoto was somewhere on the platform, having decided to do her own exploring. She came across some bird-like minipets, perched on a branch a fair distance away. They were staring at her, and she stared back - she saw food. So much food on that branch... It really was a pity that she was more of a ground snake than a tree snake. Almost disappointing, actually.

Amphi tensed when she heard his footsteps and tried to play it cool. Look at the painting, only the painting.
"I uh...I suppose." She continued to stare at the painting, realizing that the warmth she was feeling was a mix of the natural habitat heat and the one Thana exhibited. She looked back at the decapitating of heads and then nodded. "War and death...I suppose the go...Thana!" She jumped as he whispered in her ear and that blush that was spreading deepened before she played with her hands.
"It's not...cause I kissed you on the cheek or anything okay, It's just cause....of the heat." She squeaked. "We...We should probably go, classes or something....Uh. Training."
It was most defenitly time to escape........Especially since Biskoto was no where to be seen and she was getting super flustered.
Poor little mermaid. The last time she felt this embarrassed was...never. Not even with Mac....Ughhhhhhhhhh........

"Ohhhh, so it is because of the kiss to my cheek," He seemed to disregard her blaming the blush on the heat before chuckling, putting an arm around her shoulder and holding onto her arm before pulling her close, "Why are you in such a hurry? Class is out for the day, remember? We should linger here, enjoy the sights."
Meanwhile, Biskoto was still distracted by the bird-like minipets. Maybe if she stayed really, really still...

"I said it wasn't cause..I...kissed...you..on...the...cheek!" She squeaked again as he pulled her closer, "It's just really...really hot in here, like super hot, like uh...I need to take my jacket off" Her escape...she watched it disappear before wiggling around him, and Amphi, If you take your jacket off, THEN WHAT ARE YOU WEARING UNDERNEATH?!?! Again, her face was probably the color of a fire truck. If students knew what those were.

"Oh sure," His grin widened, and as she tried to escape, he only held on a little tighter, although he did eventually let her go, "Your dressing really does remind me a lot of the locals' sense of fashion. Very materialistic. Even more so now, because it's so warm here, right? So warm that your face is glowing red."
Biskoto was completely still. A bird-like minipet chirped, and flew down next to her, hopping closer and closer... Quickly, she struck, her jaws wide open as she grabbed the minipet.
"Here," He held her chin in one hand, and bent down before planting a quick kiss on her forehead, "A thank you for your thank you." Straightening up, he grinned - or was that a smirk?
Biskoto had turned around with her prize trapped tightly in her jaw, eager to show it off to Amphi and Thanatos, when she saw... What did Thanatos do. Oh Jack, what is happening?! She was so shocked that her jaw dropped open, and the minipet took the opportunity to escape. By the time she realized what had happened, it was too late.
She could only watch tearfully as the minipet flew away, and out of sight.

She wiggled more, he tightened his hold. She gave him a small look and somehow...RELEASE. FREEDOM. She frowned at his words though before cocking her hands on her hips.
"Well...Well." Yes Amphi, tell him, "I think that the fashion here is indeed very spot on and what are you doing?" She blinked as he took her chin and gave her a kiss on the forehead. Her mind went like blank and dumb struck before she shied away.
"Ah..." she was at a complete lost of what to do now. "You...." She rubbed her hands on her shorts before nodding and mimicking his words. "I accept your gratitude for my gratitude...Yes." was the best she could come (and the only response she could do because he was giving her that grin....) before happening to look over at Biskoto who had a bird in her mouth but then her jaw dropped and she was letting the bird fly away.
"Aw Biskoto..." She came over to the snake and bent down to pat her on the head, "Maybe Thana will get you some food to eat?" She really wasn't avoiding him but she did look up at him with a smile, albeit red smile, still a smile. "I think we explored enough yes? Perhaps it really is time to get back..." Before anyone else comes in and see's anything and YEAHHHHHHHHHH.....
Jack, Something in her was developing for Thana (stupid grin got her every time)...She just wasn't sure what it was after all. (augh he is still grinning at me. >B| )

"I believe so as well," Still grinning away, he chuckled as he picked his familiar off the floor, letting her settle down on his shoulder before he made himself comfortable, gently scratching Biskoto under her jaw, "Let's just you something to eat, shall we? That's not the only minipet in the air, after all."
Looking at Amphi, he gestured at the way down, his grin still evident, "Ladies first?"
