Dodging Brush knew something was up. Her owlcat kept bringing more food to her each morning, not to mention her belly seemed to be a bit rounder since the last time she paid attention to it. It wasn't unusual for her to start speaking to everything around. Looking around the area of the swamp she wandered into, Dodging spotted some birds in a tree. "Are you expecting young ones, too?" Sighing as the birds continued working on their nest, she moved on. This wasn't full expected, but things do happen. "I wonder if I should get a blessing? Just in case what I am feeling is correct." The mostly green doe kept walking at a steady pace, showing no signs of being in a hurry. It seemed all around her were signs of new life beginning, from the smallest plants to the most vicious of animals.

Goosebumps followed the owlcat slyly, waiting for it to drop more food. And with that, Fiend caught up to the pair that now became four. He heard the doe. He leisurely trotted up behind her and nipped at the swollen belly.

Fallen Leaf was just about to jump on Dodging, when the doe jumped at the n**. She looked at the eaglehound, "Those are not for you, silly one."

Rattling bones announced the change. Ever shifting, Fiend stood and stared down at the doe. His own owlcat continued ahead. Dispensing frivolous notions of introductions and proper etiquette, he started, "Owlcats are pretty handy at foraging for truffles and acorns."

Blushing at her comment at the n**. "I am..." She looked ahead, noticing the other owlcat. "They are good at that." Dodging looked back to the legendary, this being the first one she ever seen up close. He wasn't what she expected, but he had an air about him. "Mine seems to be doing that a lot lately. More food every morning, though I can't eat all of it."

"Seems like you're getting ready for hibernation despite being the wrong creature and the wrong season." The bones jangled in the silence that stretched.
He looked at her roomy hips, then continued the journey with her, weaving a story about absolutely everything and nothing. When they reached a certain part of the swamp and where the sky was painted to match Fiend, his owlcat, Goosebumps, waited them. With a bevy of mushrooms and berries. And as quickly as he came into her life, he was gone with nothing more than a whispered command, "Hurry and eat up, you're going to need it for the extra sacs" She would be safe from here on out.

Looking at her body, she had to agree with the stag. There was something going on that everyone was able to see, more than herself. She was surprised with his company, but enjoyed it all the same. It was the longest that she had been in contact with such as him and the story was amusing.
She turned to say something to him as they found his owlcat, but he was gone. His voice lingered in her mind and she smiled. "Thank you for the advice." Not to much further away, Fallen was holding out even more food for her.
