I would advise staying on them since I placed some crazy vicious man eating penguins in the river.. Those little bastards are crazy. Anyways.. Your chuunin Vest is at the Mouth of the River.. Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius Shikarama looked around him. He brought his arms together for a moment, breathing out cold mist. Out of a mountain, into a deadly frozen river. Under the waters were the strange monstrous creatures. The waters carried them and the ice towards the mouth of the river. The goal was to get the vest, and keep the opponent from stopping you. For now he took a moment to scan his opponent, and watched them. He called out, "2"

 Eingana just stared at the kid for a moment, he had balls looking straight at a dragon and only thing he cares about is calling out some number "..." Eingana looked at the man blankly and then there was a sudden shift and Vale stood in her place. "Good luck..." Vale said voice booming to his opponent. He hopped on one foot twice and on the second one there was a flash of movement and Vale was off and racing down the river with his Shikuchi. Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius Shikarama calmly as the dragon was switched with his opponent. Immediately, after wishing him good luck, the man rushed off at incredibly high speeds, moving down the river. Shikarama turned, running after the man, he jumped quickly and carefully. He headed after the man, moving from ice float to ice float. The man was quickly getting ahead with his technique. However, the goal wasn't to grab the vest, but to do so and take out one's opponent. Shikara began forming handseals, gathering his chakra as he ran.

Vale was more than outstripping him in this 'race' as it was sure there were creatures in the water but they were just as slow and the boy was Shikuchi had him blasting across the water with the aid of the walking on water technique he would easily leave his opponent in the dust, though he had no idea the boy was trying a technique it only made sense that he would attempt one on him, though all Vale could do was increase this distance between the to of them as much as possible so that he could get so far ahead he could set some traps for his opponent. Or he could do... that. Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius Shikarama smiled as the man decided to walk on water and rushed ahead. It meant the man didn't see him as much of a threat. As he was running on the water, it was the perfect time for Shikarama to stop him. He released his jutsu. Suddenly as the man ran, under him, roots rose up from the depths of the water. Within the genjutsu cast, these would force him to stop, keeping him from running. the vines and roots would rise up to wrap around and bind him, as a tree grew out behind him. If he was distracted by it enough, his concentration on the water-walking technique would be broken, making him sink, and the penguins, regardless, would go after him. No matter how strong or fast he was, the tree in the illusion couldn't be escaped physically. His only chance would be to break the genjutsus. Shikarama rushed forward, trying to use the chance to catch up. He needed to get in close, for anything he intended to work. Vale could tell near instantly that it was a genjutsu after all the probability that it was a jutsu was… unlikely. Wood Jutsu had long been lost to the world and as far as he knew no one had managed to copy it so either way even if it was a jutsu his sudden growth would have freed him immediately. Eingana appeared near instantly her mind was free of all Genjutsu that Vale might have been under, and coincidentally Vale himself would be relieved of the effects as his mind was now disconnected from the world severing Shikarama’s Genjutsu, Eingana lifted off it wasn’t as fast as he had been, but then again she wasn’t interest in the vest the boy would die. She banked turning in her flight to face the boy and rapidly flapped her wings hovering in his past there was a sharp intake of breath and the immediate result as there was an immediate piercing cry from the dragon that would deafen Shikarama and more than likely stop him in his tracks should he like pretty much anyone would tried to cover his ears. after all it was quite the jarring technique a noise loud enough to render someone deaf was bound to make someone want to cringe. Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius Shikarama moved in close, as suddenly from the man's body the dragon formed. He placed the Shocker in his cloak. The dragon moved into the air, turning to face him, as she drew in a breathe. From the dragon's throat, a high pitched screech sounded. He quickly covered his ears, cringing from the pain. He plugged his ears, covering them with his hands and fingers. He watched the dragon, looking for her next move, as he wouldn't be able to use his ears in defense for a little bit. This genjutsu, like all genjutsu, are technically an internal effect once they activate. So, he would still be under the genjutsu once his senses come back.))

Alright I slept on it and came to a decision I've already raised this point once over IMs I want to get another Mod opinion on whether or not the use of that jutsu was valid. It targeted none of my 5 senses in your post and Genjutsu 101 is that it targets at least 1 of the opponents senses, and if you say you're hitting me without that then it means that it's an unavoidable technique... which is god modding, and from what I remember of the use in the manga, (and I own the volume) it would appear to be a sight based technique.

Eingana morphed again but this time instead of Vale… it seemed Eingana herself was the one turning into something different, it took a few scant seconds but before the boy would stand a reptilian woman though obviously draconic in origin as the scale wrapped around her body the only apparent shielding of her flesh from the elements, her shape was pleasing to the eye at a glance but closer inspection revealed the danger as her claws stood poised and her eyes held an air of contempt in them as her tail flicked about eagerly in the background, a challenge to the young man as she prepared herself for battle. Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius Shikarama held his ground as he was carried along the ice. He watched in awe, as the dragon transformed with Vale, taking a humaniod...a female humaniod form. As amazing a sight she was, however, his eyes picked up the glint of her claws. He hand to make sure this fight was kept at his range. He quickly grabbed kunai and shuriken from his cloak and began setting them up. He then tossed them into the air and quickly formed handseals. "Wind Style: multipronged trap" A large wall of cutting wind form in front of him, before he fired it forward, carrying the weapons with it. Eingana hopped on one foot and then suddenly she was gone as she started to use the speed that didn’t appear in sight that was known as Shikuchi. She cut across avoiding the trap laden wind easily, and made her way at him. Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius He saw as she quickly moved pas the wind towards him. His shadow shifted, nearly invisibly, as tiny tendrils of shadow moved along the shadows of the strings. The shadows flowed out from multiple directions to capture her shadow. Upon contact, all her movements would be stopped and she would be held frozen.
