In my metroplex there has been 7 tornados so far. One of them was extremely close to my house. The storms continue and produce more tornados. A high school and an elementary, both full of kids, have been hit. These storms have been going for almost 3 hours. Please pray for all of the people here.

Bro,really? This link is a slap in her a face and in all honesty, a troll on her post. As stated in the rules, we dont take kindly to trolling here. People are hurt, and as christians, we are called to weep when our brothers and sisters weep.

On a more personal note, how would you feel if your best friend texted you while you were busy at work saying there are tornados all around their house? The elementary and highschool by her got hit while students were inside. Then you get online to see her requesting prayer for her area, and here is some dude saying they deserve it? In the words of DBZA, "KRILLIN! ... too soon."

It was 12 tornados that touched down here. They don't know yet if there are any deaths but all injuries reported have been minor. The youngest person hurt was a little infant. Hundreds of homes and dozens of places of employment have been destroyed.

Throwing my prayers out there for a swift recovery, healing for the victims, and hope for those that are probably homeless because of this. And I pray there were no deaths that took any of our fellow brothers or sisters. cry

Tornadoes have always terrified me, probably moreso than any other natural disaster. I don't know why. I've never lived anywhere where tornadoes are a problem. They just scare the bajeezes out of me for some reason. I could never live anywhere where they happened frequently. Or at all. So hats off to you, sister, because you are far braver than I!

But as I said, you and your community will be in my prayers. It's at least good that nobody's been killed, and that the only injuries have been minor. It's a lot easier to rebuild a destroyed building than it is to rebuild a destroyed person.
