THE Forges General setting: Deep, deep down, near the very base of the Clan settlement is a staircase that leads even lower, made of iron instead of marble. It leads to a giant, cavernous opening underneath where all the weapons and metals are forged and restructured. The area seems very mildly occupied though, mostly by Clans members who are working away, though the noise is very loud, the consistent clink of metal against metal. OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS: - When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly. 1-20: You notice all around you, just on the ground, lying there, pieces and pieces of untamed rare and precious stones and metals, just ripe for the taking. Its too bad a Clans member is watching you... 21 - 40: You see a few weapons lying around, swords, sparse amounts of armour, but most of the crafting seems to be centered around making ornate jewelry. All jewelry is interestingly enough, very organic shaped. 41 - 60: The few swords you see lying around seem to have been made ages ago, many of them dusted and unpolished. You do notice a very unique weapon though, a long black scythe, still glinting in the light as if just newly made. It reminds you of an Heir's weapon... (IF YOU HAVE NOT ENCOUNTERED AISA, then the last clause is void). 61 - 80: You hear two clans members talking with each other, the conversation is not heated quite yet, but they seem to be at a dispute with something involving "only a week's time will tell" 81- 100: There is suddenly a loud ringing noise. All clans member suddenly stop what they are doing and kneel on the ground, in prayer. A few minutes later another chime, and they continue to work again. (see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here!

Mei had wandered away from the dorms that the Death Clan had so nicely provided for the students. Skipping along a path, she eventually found her way to a staircase that lead down and down and down. Leaning over the rail, the petite ghoul not even worried about the rail possibly shifting from her weight, she peered down at the cavernous opening in awe.
"Wooooooowwwww" Her voice echoed back at her, to which she giggled. But the ghoul didn't really want to go down there all by herself. She wondered where Reiko and Morrigan had wandered off to.

Reiko had gone back to the dorms and cleaned up after her training, wrapping her injuries in bandages and putting on a clean kimono (well, as clean as her kimonos ever got). She was still feeling a bit beaten down from her battles with her doppelgangers, and mourned the temporary loss of the kimono she had been wearing-shredded by her Conquest-self's bladed fans and that bizarre weapon.
She wandered outside the dorms, wondering if she ought to find Morrigan or Mei to do some of the promised exploring-and as she thought that, she spotted the Jiang Shi ghoul. "Mei!" She called, upping her pace a bit so that she quickly came to stand by her. "Oh, my," she glanced down below them, at the forges, and let out a soft whistle.

Morrigan had been sure that she spotted Reiko leaving the dorms earlier but that ghoul was fast! Of course, it had taken her a moment or two to find her second shoe.. she had tossed it off as soon as she had entered her room. Just when she was beginning to wonder if she had made a wrong turn somewhere, she stumbled upon the two ghouls. It looked as if Mei had been giggling over something.
"I'm here," she called out, stopping briefly to pant. She was not used to running. Her familiar didn't seem tired at all and bounced past her to the two girls. He was curious about the staircase Mei had found. "Oooh, what's down there," the demon asked curiously.

Grinning widely, she turned to see Reiko coming up the path fast. She gave a full arm wave. "Reiko!" And not soon after Morrigan was there too, as well as Mimic!
Think of the devils and they shall appear. The ghoul giggled lightly before leaning over the railing of the staircase again. "I think these are the forges." Mei got a sneaky look on her face. "You guys wanna go see whats down there? I don't see anything that says don't go down there..."

Reiko waved. "Morrigan! And Mimic, too. How lovely to see you again!" She said brightly. She was still aching from her fights earlier, but she had really done fairly well considering. She leaned back down and considered for a moment.
"Well, we certainly don't seem to be forbidden, and I'm sure that looking around and seeing their forges could be considered learning about the culture of the Horsemen, which is the point of this exchange, no?" She said, her expression a mask of perfect innocence. Reiko was curious. There was nothing that said they couldn't, as Mei had pointed out, and surely if it was an off-limits area they would be informed as such!

"I want to go, I am so curious about the clans. I bet it's hot down there too." Oh, how Morrigan loved the heat and the hotter, the better!
"I hope the stairs are sturdy, it looks like it goes down pretty far." There was no way she was letting Mimic bounce himself down there. He'd bounce himself right off the stairs and into oblivion so she picked him up and tucked him carefully under one arm so she could use the free hand on the rail. The stairs made her a little more than nervous too but curiosity definitely won this battle.
"Would you like to lead the way, Mei?"

The ghoul was more than happy to lead the way down the stairs. "Sure! I'll lead!" Pushing herself away from the rail she was leaning over, Mei hopped down the stairs quickly one by one. Almost running down them in an effort to reach the bottom as soon as she could. She had no fears of falling off the stairs.
When she reached the bottom of the stairs Mei covered her ears slightly. The noise was so loud and the heat was so intense against her deathly cold skin. It was almost refreshing.
Looking about she saw a few weapons and armour laying about. Though the crafters seemed to be more focused on making the ornate jewelry. Mei hoped this was a preview of perhaps what they would be making.

Reiko nodded and followed Mei down. She let out a soft gasp when they got to the forges, and her face lit up. So many lovely things, just lying around. She felt eyes on her and turned, squeaking a bit when she realized a Clans member was watching her.
"Oh, so many amazing things," she commented, still looking from place to place as if she could somehow take every bit in all at once.

Morrigan was not as gung-ho about reaching the bottom as Mei had been. In fact, she was probably the slowest of the three, but heights were not something she was comfortable with. Of course, when you couldn't fly, it made falling all the harder. Once she reached the bottom, she set Mimic down on the ground with a severe warning to behave before taking a good look around. "Wow," she muttered, taking a slow step forward to get a better look. It was a bit loud, but the heat felt so damn nice.
Two clan members talking nearby were a little distracting. What where they talking about? What was going to happen in a weeks time? It looked and sounded pretty serious, whatever it was.

Looking over at her two ghoulfriends, something behind them seemed to catch her eye. "Hmmmm....this place is pretty neat don't you think guys? Wonder if we'll be making jewelry like that."
The slight glint of dusty and unpolished swords leaning up against the walls drew Mei's attention. Especially the long handled scythe that was among them. She wondered who owned such an immaculate and ornate weapon like that!

Reiko was glad the heat didn't really affect her. Sometimes, it was good to be a ghost. She followed Mei's gaze and stared at the weapons, which reminded her... "Have you two done training yet?" She asked, floating a bit of a feeler question. Perhaps they could explain the strange third doppelganger? The other two had been obvious, but if she was meant to fight versions of herself, why had she been utterly unable to see any of the third version's features? Only that strange weapon that drained her whenever it struck...

She couldn't help but take a step closer in an attempt to find out more about what they were talking about. What did "only a week's time would tell" mean? Were they talking about something related to the forges? Could it possibly be about them.. their visit? Or could it be something completely silly? Maybe one of them was in the process of trying to woo another and it would take a week to find out the answer? Really, it could be anything.. right?
Why did she have that bad feeling in the pit of her stomach then? "Making jewelry would be nice, but man, making a weapon would be too."

The ghoul nodded slightly in agreement to Morrigan's comment about making a weapon. "That could be pretty neat. Though if I were to make a weapon it probably wouldn't be very big. Lugging around some gigantic scythe or sword would be a little hard for lil' ol' me." She giggled before turning away from the weapons.
Rubbing the back of her head with a hand, Mei bit her bottom lip. "I've done a little bit of training so far. But we've still got a few more days in these classes so I'm sure I'll be able to sneak in a few more training thingies before we all end up moving on to the next week."
