As the days drew near towards the date of his intended trip back home in Clarus Arbor for the spring break, Lea knew deep down that making time for such a trip was definitely in order. He would usually head back for the combined Christmas and New Year period but had to postpone it this time, mostly because of his part-time job as well as the Christmas party that Cedar had been so kind as to organize for him and his friends.
Based on what he could gather from the reply they had sent via the mail, Kei, as expected, was perfectly fine with the arrangement although his feline familiar Lulu sang an entirely different tune altogether, both snarky and moody at the same time as she threatened to use him as a scratching post the next time they met should he pull off something like that without giving adequate notice the next time. Nothing that the perfect gift wouldn't be able to fix though. Which was why Lea decided to pay a visit to the town of Moonfall this very bright and early Saturday morning. There was hardly anything interesting in Makai plus he highly doubted that he could afford most of the things in Lumena.
